Seeing Shen Yu's insistence, Su Qing said, "We'll let our dorm handle the singing, then."

"I don't mind," Lu Lin, who was just there to make up the numbers, didn't seem to care about money.

With a three-to-one vote, Zheng Yanyan couldn't voice any more objections. After the girls made their decision, they joined the boys and headed to the KTV. Chang Hao was ready to foot the bill, but Shen Yu suggested that the girls' dorm treat the boys to singing, with the gesture attributed to Zheng Yanyan, given her close relationship with Chang Hao.

When they arrived at the KTV and were about to book a room, Zheng Yanyan reluctantly said, "Our dorm will treat this ti."

Chang Hao was taken aback, looking at Zheng Yanyan with a newfound appreciation. "No need, singing isn't that expensive. I'll cover it."

"Stop talking nonsense. We said we would treat, so we will!" Zheng Yanyan, who was quite frustrated, had never paid for a al or singing session herself before. This ti, her roommates had forced her into it.

At the counter, the cashier glanced at the group of eight but wasn't sure and hesitated, asking, "Are you Mr. Zhou?"

"?" Chang Hao and Zheng Yanyan exchanged looks and then turned to Zhou Yuwen.

Zhou Yuwen nodded, "Yes, I booked the room earlier."

"Oh, right," the staff confird the reservation and smiled warmly, stepping out from behind the counter to lead them to their room.

For ordinary guests, the counter staff wouldn't imdiately ask if they had a reservation. But half an hour earlier, Zhou Yuwen had booked their deluxe room, which required a minimum spend of 1,500 yuan, including fruit platters, beer, and two bottles of champagne. KTVs in the university city mainly offered budget rooms, but during periods like the end of military training or graduation season, deluxe rooms were also booked, even though it was currently a slow season.

The front desk clerk, dressed in a dark blue uniform skirt and flesh-colored stockings with high heels, led the way. The KTV's decor was typically gaudy but also exuded a sense of luxury. After winding through several corridors, they finally reached their room.

When they realized Zhou Yuwen had booked a 100-square-ter deluxe room, they were stunned.

"Damn! Zhou, this is too extravagant!" Chang Hao was genuinely surprised. He had only expected a mid-sized room, but this was over the top.

Zhou Yuwen said, "You treated us to dinner in Toronto. How could I not treat you to sothing nice in return?"

"Haha! Zhou, you're the best!" Chang Hao gave a thumbs up.

Even though Chang Hao, a playful guy, could spend eight to nine hundred yuan on a al for everyone, Zhou Yuwen, who was thirty years old, didn't need to appear stingy. Enjoying the outing was what mattered most.

As they talked about singing, Zhou Yuwen had already called to reserve the room. For college students, this room was luxurious but also the best value in the university city.

Zheng Yanyan was thrilled, not having to spend money and getting such a luxurious room. She imdiately sat on the leather sofa, marveling at it. She had never been to a deluxe room even in high school, and now, for her first college singing session, she was in one. Without hesitation, she took out her phone to snap so pictures for social dia.

She took two pictures, one of which included Zhou Yuwen.

At this ti, Zhou Yuwen was chatting with the waiter.

The waiter explained the room's details and asked if Zhou Yuwen needed anything else.

Zhou Yuwen said no, and after a brief chat, the waiter bowed and wished him a pleasant ti.

Once the waiter left, everyone relaxed, posting on social dia or selecting songs.

Chang Hao tested the microphone, remarking on the superior sound quality of the deluxe room.

"Brother Hao, let's keep drinking tonight," Li Qiang grinned, opening beers.

"Go ahead, let's not go ho until we're drunk!"

Zhou Yuwen sat on the sofa while Shen Yu asked him how much the room cost.

Zhou Yuwen replied, "Not much, about the sa as the dinner."

In the dim lighting of the room, Shen Yu said, "We really owe you today, treating us to both dinner and singing."

Zhou Yuwen smiled faintly, "Isn't that what we should do? It's customary for n to foot the bill when dining and singing."

Shen Yu laughed at his words.

Regardless of whether it was true, sotis it was just the thing to say, especially since he had already paid. Why not maintain the facade?

Moreover, Zhou Yuwen's words significantly boosted Zheng Yanyan's opinion of him.

She continued to post on social dia, assembling a collage of nine photos, including dinner in Toronto, the luxurious KTV room, and a shot of her long legs on the coffee table.

After posting, she approached Zhou Yuwen, saying, "Hey, Zhou Yuwen, look, I made you look so handso in this photo. My friend even wants to introduce you as her boyfriend."

She even showed her social dia post to Zhou Yuwen.

Zhou Yuwen glanced at it, noting the dim lighting that obscured his face, and didn't mind.

"Let's pick so songs. Didn't you all want to sing?"

Chang Hao had already started choosing songs. He was a guy with stories to tell, picking classics like Wu Bai and Lo Ta-yu.

The first song was Wu Bai's "Sudden Self."

As soon as the guitar started, the atmosphere lit up.

Chang Hao quickly got into it with the microphone.

Zhou Yuwen helped Shen Yu pick a song, asking her what she wanted to sing.

"Um, how about 'Red Bean'?" Shen Yu thought for a mont and smiled.

"Wang Fei's song? I like it too," Zhou Yuwen said.

"Really?" Shen Yu asked with a smile.

"Of course. 'I haven't fully felt, the climate where snow blossoms,'" Zhou Yuwen sang a couple of lines, impressing Shen Yu and sparking more conversation between them.

Zhou Yuwen was at the song selection station, helping Shen Yu pick her song.

Shen Yu noticed Su Qing sitting alone on the sofa without any intention of picking a song and curiously asked what she wanted to sing.

As Shen Yu moved away, Zheng Yanyan approached.

At that mont, Zhou Yuwen was selecting a song at the station, unaware of the commotion behind him. Zheng Yanyan, who was slightly nearsighted, had taken off her sunscreen jacket and was leaning close to the song screen.

With about a hundred degrees of nearsightedness, she usually didn't wear glasses but couldn't see clearly now, so she leaned forward unconsciously.

Zhou Yuwen, absorbed in the KTV environnt, didn't notice the proximity.

After selecting the song, he turned to ask Shen Yu if she wanted another song, accidentally bumping into Zheng Yanyan.

Awkward.

Zhou Yuwen didn't know how to face Zheng Yanyan.

To his surprise, Zheng Yanyan whispered softly in his ear, "Is it soft?"
