Chapter 387: Chapter 386: Special Constitution

But Heather said, "There is no price."

"No price?" Ye Fan was very confused.

"That’s right," Heather explained. "There is indeed no price, but you must beco my servant and serve at my side!"

Ye Fan was imdiately shocked. "Are you joking? Impossible!"

He was the dignified King of Heaven, a true man. How could he possibly beco a manservant to a woman, let alone a female vampire? It was unthinkable.

"Wouldn’t it be wonderful to manage the Vampire Clan with ?" Heather asked him.

Indeed, the offer was tempting. The Vampire Clan was one of the most powerful factions on the planet; even his Heavenly King Hall couldn’t compare. Even the Divine Dragon of the Divine Land was no match for them. Anyone else would have accepted without a second thought.

But Ye Fan could not agree. He said, "To each their own. Besides, you’re a vampire and I’m human. I cannot accept your offer."

"You dare refuse ?" Heather’s face turned ice-cold.

Ye Fan took a deep breath. "I’m just telling the truth."

"It doesn’t matter. I have my ways to make you agree," Heather said coldly.

Fear gripped Ye Fan, and he snapped, "Do whatever you want to , but don’t you dare lay a hand on my won! If you do, I will never forgive you!"

Heather replied in a frigid tone, "When did I ever say I would harm your won? I’m going to turn you into a vampire. Then you will have no choice but to submit to !"

Hearing this, Ye Fan was taken aback. His constitution was special. Normally, anyone bitten by a mber of the Vampire Clan would turn into one of them. He had been bitten by Heather before but hadn’t turned. Now, she was preparing to personally transform him.

Ye Fan imdiately countered, "You know my body. Even being bitten by you won’t turn

into a vampire. I advise you to give up."

To think that he, who had once proudly sworn to charge into the Vampire Clan’s base and annihilate every last one of them, would end up in such a state. In the end, he was nothing more than a prisoner, and the life of a captive was anything but pleasant.

But there was nothing he could do to change his situation. "Oh, I’ll find a way," Heather said.

"Why are you so insistent that I beco your manservant? The kind that warms your bed?" Ye Fan was speechless. Sure, he was handso, but what damn good was that in front of a Bloodline Ancestor like Heather?

She stated unabashedly, "Because of your unique nature. To my Vampire Clan, you are of epoch-making significance. Besides," Heather admitted frankly, "you’re quite a remarkable person."

It was impossible that she felt nothing for him and was rely using him; she harbored unique feelings for Ye Fan. This was true even though she had wanted to kill this man countless tis. For a woman, the shift from hate to love can happen in an instant.

Ye Fan said, "I’m really not the right person. I can’t stay with the Vampire Clan for the rest of my life. I have many other won. I’m sorry." He laid his heart bare, hoping Heather would recognize the difficulty of the situation and back down.

But Heather only said, "The consequences for doing this will be severe."

"Even if they’re severe, I won’t regret it," Ye Fan replied truthfully.

Heather said, "Once I’ve transford you, you won’t be having these thoughts anymore."

"You can’t force ! I don’t want to beco a vampire!" Ye Fan yelled in anger.

Who would want to beco a vampire? To gain an endless lifespan but beco a creature that was neither human nor monster... He truly didn’t want to beco such a thing.

But Heather simply said, "You don’t have a choice."

She grabbed Ye Fan and flew him to the summit of the Blood Clan’s Holy Mountain. Below them was a massive, churning blood pool. Despite the thick, tallic scent of blood, it radiated an overwhelming energy. The sheer power emanating from it made even Ye Fan’s heart tremble with fear.

Then, she pushed him in.

"Argh!"

As Ye Fan plunged into the blood pool, his body began to undergo a cataclysmic transformation. Under the crushing impact of the imnse force, he could feel his bones groaning. CRACK! CRACK! His body was compressed and his skeleton transford as boundless energy surged into him, making him feel as if he were about to be torn apart. Who could possibly understand this agony? He grew dizzy. Finally, as the most powerful surge yet pressed down on him, he decided he had to leap out. I can’t stay in this place for one more second.

The mont he managed to leap out, Heather uttered a soft chant. A massive hand of blood rose from the pool and dragged him back in to continue the ordeal.

An unknown amount of ti passed before Ye Fan awoke again. The blood pool was now calm, and all his injuries had vanished. The first change he noticed was that his body had beco stronger. The power within him had reached a state of saturation. If I faced the Bat Blood Ancestor now, I could defeat him.

Without a doubt, he could feel the power thrumming through his veins. It ca from the blood pool, a large portion of which he had absorbed.

Heather extended a hand, and his body was lifted out of the pool and into the air.

"Congratulations," she said. "You’ve beco a vampire."

Ye Fan quickly examined himself and found no mutations. Aside from his body and his power having grown stronger, there were no other changes. "Sorry to disappoint you," he said. "My body hasn’t changed at all."

"What?" Heather was shocked. She couldn’t believe that even the ancient blood pool of the Vampire Clan had failed to turn Ye Fan into a vampire. Her voice turned cold. "Impossible."

Ye Fan said, "My body is different from others. I wasn’t turned into one of your clan."

"I don’t believe it!" Heather charged forward to test him herself.

"Bring it on!" Ye Fan roared. At this mont, though he was still no match for her, he was not afraid to fight.

BOOM!

The impact of their strike sent a tremor through the entire mountaintop. Both Heather and Ye Fan were thrown backward, though Ye Fan was sent flying much farther.

There was no helping it. Heather’s power had already reached the transcendent Saint-level, the strength of one who could no longer be called mortal. Unless I reach that realm myself, I’ll never be her match.

"You really didn’t beco a vampire." Heather was disappointed and grew even more furious. She couldn’t believe her plan had failed.

Ye Fan stated, "Your Vampire Clan’s blood pool has no effect on ."

"Then I will kill you!" Killing intent flashed in Heather’s eyes as she lunged at Ye Fan.

"Slaughter Sword Intent!" Ye Fan drew his Yuanhong Sword and slashed. The sword intent he unleashed was far more violent than before, its power having undergone a dramatic transformation.

Heather instantly conjured a Blood Shield to block the attack, but the mont the Slaughter Sword Intent struck it, the shield cracked and shattered.

Heather and Ye Fan clashed in a ferocious battle. Atop the summit of the Blood Clan’s Holy Mountain, a world-shaking duel was underway.

anwhile, from the shadows, several terrifying presences locked their auras onto the mountaintop.
