Chapter 56: Chapter 53: You Call That Empathy?

"You treacherous scoundrel, I’ve been waiting for you."

The Wind Elder wasn’t afraid, but rather pleased. After bringing his palms together, he continuously channeled True Essence into them, then pushed it downward.

"Wind Rise!"

A massive Wind Blade, sharp as a knife, instantly sliced through the fire column, causing waves to spread upon hitting the ground, sweeping away the sea of fire below, yet simultaneously fanning the surrounding flas.

"Do you think the fire isn’t big enough?"

From afar, Second Qin glared angrily and scolded. The Wind Elder glanced at him, secretly displeased, and turned his head away.

Han Yu gleefully drew back the sea of fire to replenish the vacant spot, then crouched and gathered strength. In the next mont, another fire column rose to the sky alongside him.

The Wind Elder was about to use another cultivation technique, but then hesitated, ultimately opting to only use pure True Essence to strike downwards.

The fire column instantly dissipated under the impact of the True Essence, and at this mont, Han Yu’s figure unexpectedly burst forth, catching everyone off guard.

For Han Yu had always targeted Half-Step Divine Gaze, and who would have thought he dared to attack soone at the Divine Gaze Realm?

The Wind Elder was caught off guard, and Han Yu closed in.

"Let’s go down together!"

Han Yu grinned and lunged forward, and the two figures overlapped, crashing heavily into the sea of fire.

Inside the Fire Zone, fire serpents leaped continuously. Han Yu grabbed the opponent’s arms, while the opponent simultaneously seized his arms.

Got him!

Got him!

Both were equally delighted, showing smiles, but upon eting gazes, they realized how annoyingly the other was smiling.

Han Yu imdiately threw a punch, and the Wind Elder hastily projected True Essence outward, forming a turtle shell-shaped True Essence Shield on his chest.

Punch t shield, and it shattered while the punch recoiled, causing Han Yu’s right hand to gradually tremble from the backlash.

Dammit, who would think such a temperantal old fellow would know such a turtle shell technique? It doesn’t fit his personality at all!

The Wind Elder laughed heartily, gathering True Essence in both hands to conjure another Wind Blade, which directly exposed Han Yu.

"Good!"

Qin Tiannan’s eyes lit up upon spotting Han Yu. As long as he could see him, he could cast the Earth Binding Curse.

"Many assu I’m a reckless brute; all those people are dead."

The Wind Elder looked at Han Yu tauntingly.

Damn it!

Ginger is spicier when it’s old; after this lesson from the old man, Han Yu quickly leaped up, and sure enough, giant earthen hands erged from underfoot.

Upon landing, Han Yu dared not linger, turning to sprint back to the Fire Zone.

"Now that you’ve revealed yourself, don’t think about hiding again."

The Wind Elder sneered, spreading his arms wide, condensing True Essence into wind in his palms, then pursued.

In his wake, countless flas were blown aside, creating a clear path, yet Han Yu’s presence remained bound. This ti, not only Qin Tiannan’s Earth Binding Curse but also the Thunderfire Power from the other two Elders continuously crashed down.

Chased relentlessly, Han Yu twisted his body and leaped again, two fire dragons unleashed from his palms, pure Divine Techniques’ fire, powerful indeed.

The two fire dragons intertwined, instantly transforming into a Giant Dragon, which opened its fierce mouth filled with rolling flas.

"Shield!"

The Wind Elder quickly withdrew the wind, forming a shield with both hands. In an instant, the Giant Dragon struck the shield, and flas erupted, engulfing the Wind Elder entirely.

Once the dragon’s flas exhausted, a worn figure beca visible.

Though appearing in poor condition, the Wind Elder’s clothes were mostly ruined, but regrettably, he remained unscathed.

He laughed again with satisfaction, but suddenly, a black, round object flew into his mouth.

The Wind Elder’s laughter abruptly ceased. He tried to spit it out, but the object bizarrely lted upon entry, making even vomiting impossible.

"What did you feed ?"

His face was extrely grim, and his expression revealed a sense of confusion.

The "pill" naturally referred to the Pills. Han Yu had searched all over his body, and this was the only thing that could disgust him given his arrogance.

"It’s a supplent, helps with growth."

Han Yu mimicked his smile, then quickly dashed into the Fire Zone.

After a few breaths, he hid himself deep within the sea of flas.

Elder Feng, in a rage, continuously unleashed Wind Blades in all directions, hoping to hit and flush the person out, but no matter how long he tried, he kept missing.

After shifting his position several tis in the sea of fire, Han Yu resud crouching, preparing for the next round of sneak attacks.

With a sigh, Elder Feng rose back into the air, feeling rather regretful. He didn’t capture Han Yu this ti; it wouldn’t be as easy to trick him next ti.

Second Qin flew over, also feeling regretful, "We almost caught him."

Elder Feng initially nodded in agreent, then his expression gradually turned strange. He looked at Second Qin with a conflicted face.

"Second Elder, I understand your intentions. All along, you’ve looked down on

and Elder Lei. After all, we are outsiders and haven’t made much of a contribution to the Qin Family for over a decade."

"But you still need to maintain the strength of the Qin Family’s elders; you could only reluctantly accept the two of us. I truly understand your feelings, I dislike myself and Elder Lei too."

Second Qin looked at him, stunned, then his face changed slightly, staring in disbelief, "You... what are you saying?"

Hearing this, Elder Lei flew over with a livid face, glaring at the two with anger in his eyes, "Is he telling the truth?"

Second Qin quickly put on a smiling face, waved his hand, "Now is not the ti, that little thief is right below us, let’s deal with the enemy first."

Having said that, he was about to fly off to the side, but Elder Feng’s next words stopped him.

Elder Feng’s gaze turned normal again, but upon looking at Elder Lei, his expression gradually turned angry again.

"Old Lei, I understand your feelings, Second Qin is nothing but a waste in your mind, lording around relying on being of the main Qin lineage, lacking any real ability."

"If it weren’t for the Qin Family’s support, how could that waste have what he has today? I can empathize with your feelings; if he’s a waste in your mind, he’s no different in mine."

At this mont, Elder Lei’s face changed, he looked at Elder Feng in shock and backed away continuously. How could he know about sothing he had kept hidden in his heart?

Second Qin’s face turned livid too because from Elder Lei’s expression, he understood the answer. He never thought that this fool, normally so silent, thought of him like this.

He flew back swiftly with a cold expression, looked at Elder Lei, and sneered, "So this is what you really think? Ha, good."

Elder Lei’s face changed, quickly shook his head, and pointed angrily at Elder Feng, "This is all his one-sided story, don’t believe him."

Seeing them about to fight, the other seven elders hurriedly ca over to diate.

"What ti do you think it is? That thief is right below us, don’t ss up our formation!"

Elder Feng’s expression suddenly beca very complex, flickering between alarm, dissatisfaction, and resentnt.

"Seven Elders, I actually understand your feelings too. As fellow Qin family mbers, just because Second Qin is good at networking, he’s always had the most resources, especially after his Realm improved, he orders you around like servants."

"Why does he have to be the one to give orders in everything except to the Patriarch? Why do we have to do whatever he wants? Clearly, Han Yu treats us as pushovers, yet he forced us to co out."

"I can empathize with your feelings, so I don’t think it’s wrong at all for you to appear to do the work but not really exert effort. In such dangerous situations, if you don’t conserve so True Essence, you could end up like those elders who didn’t even leave bones behind."

The seven elders looked at him as if they had seen a ghost and continuously backed away. It was too uncanny; it was as if he knew exactly what was in their minds.

At this point, Second Qin’s expression was truly complex. It seems he had always been the one who was neither this nor that!

These bastards, smiling on the surface every day, but had been badmouthing him behind his back.

Instantly, everyone was in chaos, and Han Yu stood below, completely forgetting to stage an ambush, just staring dumbfounded.

Damn it, is this really the Empathy Pill? To hell with it! Eating this thing, walking down the path, how many people would you offend?

Ping’s Pills are becoming increasingly bizarre.

Qin Tiannan frowned, his heart skipping a beat; how was Elder Feng’s situation so similarly effective to his own son’s?

He needed to stabilize the situation; if they lost control here before catching Han Yu, things would get even worse.

Just as Qin Tiannan flew over, Elder Feng turned and looked at him, with a particularly helpless expression, letting out a long sigh.

"Patriarch! I completely understand your..."
