Chapter 107: Chapter 106: Calling for Reinforcents
Fang Chenyi’s brow furrowed slightly as he looked at the two young n blocking his way.
’With my current status and my physique, it would be beneath my dignity to stoop to the level of these two punks in front of .’
Just as Fang Chenyi frowned, debating whether he should just let them off the hook, the one nad Yue Jin assud Fang Chenyi was intimidated by his words.
A smug look crept onto his face. ’This kid is Fang Jinjin’s brother,’ he thought. ’I can’t just attack him, but I have to put him in his place.’ He reached into his coat, pulled out a business card, and flicked it at Fang Chenyi.
"Hey, kid, open your eyes and take a good look! Who are you calling riff-raff? I’m the vice president of Yuejian Company! Here, this is my card. See for yourself!"
Fang Chenyi casually caught the card as it flew toward his face. He glanced down at the text: ’Yue Jin, Vice President, Qinhuang Island Yuejian Company.’
Fang Chenyi snorted with laughter when he read it. ’This kid really tries hard to act like a big shot.’ He shook his head in amusent, habitually opened a slit in the woven bag tucked under his arm, and tossed the card inside. His tone, however, was anything but amused.
"Kid, I think you should’ve put ’Chairman.’ That would’ve been more impressive. Uh... what the fuck, it’s really Yuejian Company?"
Fang Chenyi stopped mid-sentence and looked up at the young man in disbelief. The reason was simple: the instant he had tossed the business card into the woven bag, a system notification had sounded in his mind.
[Host has collected one business card, triggering a special reward: 100% equity in Qinhuang Island Yuejian Company! The share transfer agreent has been placed in the woven bag. Please retrieve it at your convenience.]
After hearing the notification in his mind, Fang Chenyi paused for a mont before shaking his head. ’This must just be so shell company the kid set up to look important,’ he figured.
With that thought, Fang Chenyi stopped bothering with them. He took his little sister’s hand and started walking past, saying impatiently as he went:
"Alright, get out of the way. Even a good dog knows not to block the path. If you two keep this up, you won’t even qualify as good dogs."
As he spoke, he simply swatted the two young n aside. With his enhanced physique, dealing with punks like them was as easy as pushing aside baby chicks.
"Kid, what the hell is your problem?! You threw away my card? And now you’re getting physical? I was going to let it slide since you’re Fang Jinjin’s brother, but it looks like you’re just asking for a beating!"
But how could Yue Jin, who was used to being arrogant and throwing his weight around, tolerate such disrespect?
After stumbling and barely catching his balance, he shot a look at his companion. Almost in unison, they both pulled expandable batons from their waistbands.
With a sharp SNAP, they flicked the batons open and charged at Fang Chenyi’s back.
Seeing this, the security guard just inside the school gate simply turned his head away. ’It’s happening outside the gate, so it’s not my problem,’ he thought. ’Besides, I heard what that kid said. He’s the son of Yue the Seventh. Is that soone a lowly security guard like
can afford to ss with?’
Hearing the shouts and the whoosh of air from the descending batons, Fang Chenyi knew they were attacking him without even needing to look back.
He raised an eyebrow, smoothly pulling his sister into his arms. Then he spun around and lashed out with a sweeping kick.
THUD! THUD! Before Yue Jin and his friend could even react, they were sent sprawling to the ground, batons still raised in the air.
Once they were down, Fang Chenyi looked at his sister, who had gone pale with fright. He gently ruffled her hair and asked:
"You okay, kiddo?"
Seeing her shake her head, he relaxed and patted her on the head again. Then, he turned and crouched down beside Yue Jin, who was writhing on the ground and clutching his chest. His voice was cold as he asked:
"Are you still in school?"
Hearing Fang Chenyi’s question, Yue Jin continued to writhe on the ground clutching his chest. He glared venomously at Fang Chenyi and yelled defiantly:
"You little fucker, you’re dead! You actually dared to hit ! I’m gonna cripple you today! If you’ve got any balls, let
make a phone call!"
Hearing his defiant tone, Fang Chenyi’s brow furrowed. He grabbed the punk’s hand and squeezed slightly, producing an audible GRIND of bone on bone. "Answer . How old are you? Are you still in school?"
"AH! It hurts! It hurts! I’m nineteen! Nineteen! I’m not in school anymore! Ow, ow, let
go! Let go, or I swear I’ll make you regret this!"
Fang Chenyi glanced down at the still-defiant punk, a sardonic smile playing on his lips.
"Heh, nineteen? So you’re an adult. And as an adult, you should know there are things you can and cannot do. You also have to take responsibility for your actions."
After saying this, he tightened his grip. With a loud CRACK, the young man’s hand was visibly twisted out of shape. The bones were clearly broken.
Just then, Father Fang pushed open the car door and ran over. He saw the two young n on the ground, then looked at his son, his face filled with anxiety.
"Chenyi, why are you hitting people?!" he asked urgently.
As he spoke, he rushed forward to pull Fang Chenyi away, then bent down to help Yue Jin up.
Fang Chenyi instinctively flinched when he saw his father arrive.
’Can’t be helped,’ he thought. ’My dad’s been an honest, upstanding man his whole life. When I was a kid, every ti I got in a fight, I’d get a beating with the sole of his shoe whether I won or lost. It’s left a bit of a complex...’
Lying on the ground, Yue Jin instinctively tried to shove away the person helping him. But when he saw it was the sa middle-aged man from the Lamborghini, his hand froze.
Though he didn’t push him away, he completely ignored Father Fang. Enduring the pain, he fumbled for his phone, found his father’s number, and dialed.
RING... RING... RING...
In a corporate conference room, Yue the Seventh was in the middle of a eting when his personal family phone began to ring. He held up a hand, pausing the proceedings.
He took out the phone and glanced at the caller ID: ’My Precious Boy.’
"Heh, I wonder why this little rascal is calling ," he chuckled.
Shaking his head with a smile, he stood up and walked out of the conference room before answering.
The mont the call connected, his son’s wails burst from the speaker:
"WAAAH! Dad! Dad, you have to co save ! They’re going to kill ! Your son is being beaten to death!"
