Chapter 106: Chapter 105: Arrogant Yue Jin

In the dorm room, Fang Jinjin, who had just picked up her luggage and was about to leave, was suddenly stopped by her roommate, Xiaoyu.

"Fang Jinjin, hold on a second. I have too much stuff. Could you help

carry so of it in a bit?"

After a mont’s hesitation, the simple-hearted Fang Jinjin frowned but still nodded.

"Well, alright. I’ll help you pack then."

Seeing that she’d successfully held up Fang Jinjin, a sly, triumphant smile appeared on Xiaoyu’s lips.

Five minutes later, feeling that enough ti had passed, Xiaoyu suddenly threw the half-packed suitcase in her hands onto the bed, waved her hand impatiently, and said:

"Ugh, why do I have so much stuff? Forget it, forget it. I’m done packing. Let’s go, let’s go. Fang Jinjin, let’s get out of here."

Without giving Fang Jinjin, who had opened her mouth to protest, a chance to speak, she grabbed her arm and led her out of the dorm.

In response, Fang Jinjin quickly grabbed her own bag.

When the two arrived at the school gate, the bustling crowd from earlier was gone. Seeing this, Xiaoyu couldn’t help but feel even more pleased.

From a distance, she saw the two tattooed young n at the gate. Xiaoyu, with her arm linked through Fang Jinjin’s, suddenly quickened her pace. As they neared the gate, she waved and shouted happily:

"Cousin! Over here! We’re over here!"

The two security guards at the gate breathed a sigh of relief when they heard the student. They had been staring at the two young n outside for a while, thinking they were young hooligans from off-campus. Now it seed they were also here to pick up a student.

"Hurry, hurry! My cousin’s getting impatient."

After waving, Xiaoyu pulled Fang Jinjin and broke into a jog. Fang Jinjin tried to pull away, but Xiaoyu kept a firm grip on her arm.

At the sa ti, the young man leaning against the Audi at the gate also heard Xiaoyu’s shout. That Brother Yue followed Xiaoyu’s gaze and imdiately saw Fang Jinjin, whom he had been coveting for a long ti. Instantly, his small eyes flashed with insatiable greed.

Xiaoyu’s shout didn’t just get Brother Yue’s attention; it also drew the gaze of Fang Chenyi, who had gotten out of his car and was waiting beside it.

Seeing his sister walking with a girl caked in gaudy makeup, Fang Chenyi instinctively frowned. He was especially displeased when he saw that the girl knew the two n up ahead, who looked like trouble at a glance.

’That girl... looks like I’ll have to have a serious talk with her when we get ho. I can’t let her fall in with a bad crowd.’

While he was thinking this, Xiaoyu had already pulled Fang Jinjin out of the school gate.

"Hey, isn’t that Xiaojin? Why don’t you call out to her?"

Father Fang, still sitting in the car, also saw his daughter and shouted to Fang Chenyi through the car window.

Hearing his dad, Fang Chenyi nodded and then strode toward the two young n.

As he walked over, he also noticed his sister’s expression. She clearly looked unwilling.

"Hey, Fang Jinjin, this is my cousin, Yue Jin. What do you think? He’s quite a catch, isn’t he? And look, my cousin’s car is a big Audi. You’ve never been in one, have you? Co on, I’ll get him to drop you ho."

When they reached the Audi, Xiaoyu started trying to pull Fang Jinjin into the car. At the sa ti, the two young n chid in.

"Haha, hello, Fang Jinjin. I’m Yue Jin, Xiaoyu’s cousin. A pleasure to et you. Since you’re a friend of Xiaoyu’s, go on and get in. I’ll give you a ride ho; it’s no trouble at all."

As he spoke, the young man nad Yue Jin flicked away the cigarette butt in his hand and extended his other for a handshake with Fang Jinjin.

However, at that very mont, an ice-cold voice sounded from behind him:

"Get lost! Our Xiaojin doesn’t need a ride from you!"

Hearing the voice, Yue Jin was clearly stunned. Fang Jinjin, however, was delighted. She imdiately broke free from Xiaoyu’s arm and rushed toward Fang Chenyi, linking her arm with his, her face lighting up with surprised delight:

"Brother~!" she giggled. "What are you doing here?"

He fondly ruffled his sister’s hair. "Silly girl, what have I always told you? Why are you hanging out with just anyone? From now on, don’t associate with shady characters like them. Alright, let’s go. Dad’s waiting."

With that, he took the bag from Fang Jinjin’s hand and turned to leave with her, completely ignoring the two young n.

But just because he was ignoring them didn’t an they were willing to let Fang Chenyi walk away with the prize that was almost in their grasp.

As he turned, however, his eyes fell on the Lamborghini Urus parked not far from his own car. Brother Yue was stunned. ’HOLY SHIT!! A Lamborghini?? That can’t be this kid’s, can it?!’

But when he saw the middle-aged man in the driver’s seat, the young man dismissed the thought. He didn’t need to think twice to figure the man was just a dad picking up his kid.

As for Fang Jinjin’s family situation, he had already heard all about it from Xiaoyu. Her parents were laborers, and her brother—this admittedly handso guy in front of him—just worked at so small company in the city.

Therefore, he was 120% certain that the large Lamborghini SUV beside them did not belong to this kid.

With this in mind, Yue Jin shot his companion a look, then took a step forward to block Fang Chenyi’s path. He rubbed his hands together and spoke with an arrogant smirk:

"Kid, who were you calling shady just now? Do you know who I am? Do you know who my dad is? My dad is Yue the Seventh!"

The mont he said this, the crowd of onlookers who had stopped to watch were all stunned. They never thought this kid was the son of Yue the Seventh.

In their town, there wasn’t a single person who didn’t know that na. He wasn’t so kind of gangster, though.

To put it simply, Yue the Seventh was the richest man in their town, with a family fortune rumored to be in the hundreds of millions.

Yue the Seventh, now in his late sixties, had this son late in life. Aside from an older daughter, this was his only boy, and as a result, he was exceptionally spoiled. This upbringing fostered his arrogant and tyrannical personality.

He used to run with a gang of rowdy youths, specializing in bullying people. It wasn’t until a recent crackdown on cri that Yue the Seventh realized he couldn’t let his son continue to run wild. He gave his son a stern talking-to and disbanded his gang of jobless cronies, and that was that.

But how could soone like Yue Jin, so used to his flamboyant ways, ever truly settle down? Though he stopped picking fights, he started getting up to other kinds of trouble.
