Chapter 207: Chapter 181: Constitution Up to Standard

In the days that followed, Su Ze once again began a grueling training regin, day and night.

He quickly blew through his two bottles of "DayQuil and NyQuil." The dicine was so rare due to its low production volu that it couldn’t even be exchanged for points at the mont. Su Ze had no choice but to go and freeload another two bottles from Liou Wenxin.

Liou Wenxin could only get her hands on the dicine because she was the inventor of the formula.

Pop a pill, dance... Pop another pill, dance again. The cycle repeated, monotonous, dull, and endless.

On April 10th, Su Ze went to Liou Wenxin’s place for a test. His success rate for absorbing a Tier Four C-grade extract had reached 42%.

It was clear that without the help of the Tier Four Coral Stone, his progress from just popping pills and dancing was much slower.

And this was despite him using the best tonics and grinding relentlessly day and night.

But to Su Ze, 42% was already a high enough success rate to risk an attempt!

Su Ze considered whether he should risk it. If he succeeded early, he could start digesting the extract sooner, but Liou Wenxin stopped him.

"You need at least a 70% success rate to be safe," Liou Wenxin said.

"Data is just data, after all." For once, Su Ze disagreed with Liou Wenxin’s view. "Even with a 90% success rate, if I happen to fail, I’d still be part of that 10%."

When it ca to actually absorbing an extract, many factors determined success, including one’s physical condition, luck, and willpower. It was far more than a rigid number could ever represent.

Liou Wenxin didn’t argue. She knew Su Ze had a point, but she still insisted he shouldn’t risk it now. However, she did lower her standard.

"Then at least get to 60%. The numbers aren’t everything, but they have reference value. If you fail to absorb it, you’ll only waste more ti!"

Su Ze agreed. From 42% to 60%... that was a difference of 18%!

Ordinarily, he could take his ti and wouldn’t be in a hurry, but the problem was, he was on a tight schedule.

So, he contacted Xu Sheng and asked him to use Evolutionary Technology’s channels to help him acquire high-grade natural dicines that could improve his constitution.

Cost was no object!

’He still had over three million points in his account. If not now, when was he supposed to spend them?!’

He was also still searching for materials that could strengthen his skills, as enhancing skills was another shortcut to improving his physical fitness.

Xu Sheng soon got back to him. Because of the short notice, he had only found one type of tonic that t Su Ze’s requirents.

A Tier Four Mountain God Ginseng!

Ginseng was a powerful tonic, let alone a Tier Four Spiritual Ginseng. Although Xu Sheng had only managed to find a small piece of a root, it was still astronomically expensive.

A complete Mountain God Ginseng was worth over twenty billion, comparable to a high-grade Tier Four extract. That small piece alone was worth over eight hundred thousand points.

But Su Ze didn’t even blink. He replied to Xu Sheng with a single word: Buy!

Xu Sheng delivered the Mountain God Ginseng that sa day. Su Ze paid on the spot, swiping his card. As a diamond mber, the discounted price ca out to 780,000 points.

"Keep collecting more for ; there’s no such thing as too much. Also, keep an eye out for any high-grade natural dicines that help with digesting extracts. They need to be at least more effective than Sun and Moon Epiphyllum Honey."

Su Ze instructed Xu Sheng.

"Rest assured, Mr. Su. I’ll make your requests my top priority!" Xu Sheng promised. He had a feeling that as Su Ze’s strength grew, there would be more and more big deals in the future.

After seeing Xu Sheng off, Su Ze returned to his villa and imdiately cut the small piece of ginseng root into more than ten portions. He took one and swallowed it.

The thing had been a Tier Four Spiritual Plant, after all. Swallowing it all at once would likely cause him to explode from the energy. He had to consu it in batches, taking the next portion only after digesting the previous one.

After swallowing a piece of the Mountain God Ginseng, Su Ze could clearly feel a surging power within him, far more potent than the "DayQuil and NyQuil" dicine.

Fortunately, however, the energy was very gentle and extrely easy to absorb.

Combined with the Swan Dance, the absorption and digestion process was very fast.

It took two days for Su Ze to completely digest all of the Mountain God Ginseng.

He went to Liou Wenxin’s for another test, and his success rate had risen to 55%.

’The effect is incredible!’

’But it’s still not enough.’

Gritting his teeth, Su Ze took out his last two drops of Evolutionary Liquid.

’This stuff has all sorts of effects. It should be able to improve my constitution, too. It just feels like a bit of a waste...’

Su Ze had originally planned to save these two drops of Evolutionary Liquid for a rainy day, but now...

’To hell with it!’

Su Ze poured a drop directly into his mouth.

’With my connection to the Mother Tree, will I really be lacking this stuff in the future?’

As the drop of Evolutionary Liquid went down, a strange sensation imdiately spread through Su Ze’s body.

The last ti he had consud this spring water, it had imdiately triggered an upgrade for "Knowledge is Power," so the sensation hadn’t been very distinct, overshadowed by his body being replenished and strengthened by the skill.

You could say that the last drop of Evolutionary Liquid wasn’t absorbed by Su Ze’s body, but by the "Knowledge is Power" skill.

This was his first ti truly, in a aningful sense, consuming the Evolutionary Liquid.

Now, he imdiately felt the Evolutionary Liquid’s comprehensive transformation. It was as if nothing had changed, yet everything had changed.

Even his spiritual plane was affected by the Evolutionary Liquid.

It was a sensation that was hard to put into words, as if his very life had been sublimated.

When the mystical sensation faded, Su Ze carefully assessed himself. It seed every aspect of him—his strength, Spiritual Power, sensory abilities, and so on—had improved, though the margin of increase was tiny. He had only beco a little bit stronger.

But its true strength lay in the fact that *every* aspect had been strengthened a little bit.

So aspects were easy to improve, like strength and speed. Even increasing Spiritual Power was achievable. But other aspects were simply impossible to work on, with no clear path for improvent.

For example, affinity with evolutionary power, the speed of digesting Evolutionary Material, and so on...

But now, Su Ze could clearly feel that all of these aspects had improved!

’The Evolutionary Liquid truly is miraculous.’

Su Ze tested himself again. His success rate for absorbing a Tier Four C-grade extract had reached 62%!

’Success! I made it!’

Suppressing his excitent, Su Ze looked at Liou Wenxin. "Wenxin, can I absorb the Iron-blooded Honey Badger Extract now?"

Liou Wenxin took out a vial of extract that glowed with a green light. She had exchanged for this Iron-blooded Honey Badger Extract long ago and had just been waiting for Su Ze’s constitution to et the standard.

"Take it. Don’t be in too much of a hurry. Wait until tomorrow to absorb it. Get your body’s condition properly adjusted first," Liou Wenxin advised.

"Don’t worry. I’ve waited this many days already; a little longer won’t make a difference."

Su Ze took a deep breath, slowly calming his mind.

He had popped too many pills recently, and with the lack of rest, both the qi and blood and the evolutionary power in his body were chaotic and unstable.

He planned to go back, rest well for a day to get himself into peak condition, and absorb the extract tomorrow.

Just then, Su Ze’s phone suddenly buzzed several tis.

He opened his ssaging app and saw that Pei Wuhua was telling everyone in the group chat to gather at the training hall.

Today was already April 13th. Ten days had passed. Pei Wuhua wanted to see how the ten competing students had been honing their skills and select six mbers for the team competition.

Su Ze was also determined to participate in the team competition.

As far as he knew, Dongli University’s results in the team competition portion of past exchange tournants had never been very good. To ensure Dongli could secure more slots for the Divine Dice this ti, Su Ze absolutely had to participate!

Although he hadn’t trained or built any synergy with the other students over the past ten days, it didn’t matter. He just had to display his strength.

When an individual’s power was strong enough to surpass that of the team, teamwork beca less important.

...

After leaving Liou Wenxin’s laboratory, Su Ze didn’t head back to his villa but went straight to the training hall.

He arrived fairly early; the other competing students hadn’t gotten there yet.

Seeing Su Ze arrive first, Pei Wuhua asked with a cheerful smile, "How has gelling with the other team mbers been these past few days?"

Su Ze could only offer a wry smile. "I’ve been busy with sothing these last few days and haven’t had ti to train."

"Oh? Busy with what?" Pei Wuhua’s brow furrowed slightly. This exchange tournant was more important than previous ones, and ti was short. He couldn’t help but feel a little displeased that Su Ze had let other matters delay his training.

"I was busy strengthening my constitution," Su Ze said truthfully.

"It seems you’ve given up on the team competition and set your sights on the individual one."

"No, Mr. Pei. I plan to participate in both the team and individual competitions."

Pei Wuhua took a deep breath and said, "The team competition values coordination and synergy, not individual strength. Su Ze, I know you’re very strong and talented, but without having developed any rapport with your teammates, it will be very difficult for you to perform well."

Su Ze retorted, "But if an individual’s strength is great enough, can’t they still play a huge role, even if they lack so synergy?"

Pei Wuhua understood what Su Ze ant. He didn’t refute it. Instead, he grew curious. Given Su Ze’s confidence, what was his strength actually like now?

His impression of Su Ze was still stuck back at the freshman assessnt. Su Ze had been strong then, defeating Yu Feng from the master class, but he was still a good deal weaker than top students like Li Yongguan and Gu Yue’Er.

Co to think of it, that had only been a little over three months ago.

He knew that a prodigy like Su Ze improved at a blistering pace, but after all, only three months had passed. How much could he have improved?

’At most, he’s probably on par with Li Yongguan and Gu Yue’Er! And that’s

being generous.’

But even Li Yongguan and Gu Yue’Er wouldn’t dare claim they could perform well in the team competition based on individual strength alone, without any coordination.

’Is this kid truly strong, or just arrogant...?’ Pei Wuhua was starting to feel a little unsure.

Just then, the second student arrived. It was Li Yongguan, who looked like the whole world owed him money.

"Yongguan, perfect timing. Spar a bit with Su Ze. Let

see how much you two have progressed recently," Pei Wuhua said.

In Pei Wuhua’s mind, it was highly likely that Su Ze was no match for Li Yongguan.

Li Yongguan was, without a doubt, the number one fighter in the master class. Although Gu Yue’Er’s talent was slightly superior to his, she was two years younger and lacked combat experience. In a real fight, she was no match for Li Yongguan.

’It’d be good to let this kid suffer a small setback, to take the edge off his arrogance. Being too conceited isn’t a good thing...’ Pei Wuhua thought.
