Capítulo 1880: Chapter 1783: Imaginary Rival
The bar owner probably didn’t expect that soone would dare start a fight here. After getting the news, he rushed over angrily, only to see that the people who started the fight were standing there calmly, showing no sign of panic, which left him sowhat astonished.
Huo Sining was also speechless. She just ca to the bar to kill so ti and didn’t expect to cause such a ss. Looking at the bar, which was now in a state of disarray due to the havoc wreaked by Gu Xu and Windsor Caesar, she had the urge to cover her forehead and pretend not to know these two.
Despite that, Gu Xu and the others seed unsatisfied after causing the damage. After exchanging a glance, they said, “This place is too small to fully showcase our skills. I see your moves are so-so. How about a practice session together soday?”
They directly ignored the bar owner.
Huo Sining couldn’t help but twitch her mouth, seeing the owner’s face turning livid and on the verge of erupting. She hurriedly stepped forward and said to the owner:
“Sir, there was a reason for this; we were rely defending ourselves. We apologize for causing trouble and affecting your business. We’ll compensate you for the damaged items and the losses caused to your business.”
The owner wanted to get angry, but Huo Sining’s attitude made it difficult for him to speak harshly. Besides, he had just received a ssage from his people that it was indeed the fault of those white n who got beaten, so he couldn’t unjustly bla them.
Just as he was about to relent, a sharp female voice suddenly ca from behind.
“You think it’s that easy to leave after wrecking soone’s place?”
Huo Sining was taken aback and instinctively looked towards the direction of the voice.
A young woman in her twenties pushed her way from behind the owner. Seeing her, the owner, who had been acting like the boss until now, imdiately turned pale and bowed respectfully:
“Miss, what brings you here?”
The woman’s face was livid as she snapped at the owner, “What, am I not allowed here? If I hadn’t co, I wouldn’t have known that after soone causes such a ss in my bar, we would be forced to swallow our anger. People might say our family is generous, but those who don’t know would think we’re cowardly and afraid to stand up for ourselves, letting anyone bully us.”
Upon hearing her words, the owner nearly went weak with fear, almost kneeling before the woman.
The woman didn’t spare him a glance, instead lifting her head to look in Huo Sining’s direction.
However, her gaze towards Huo Sining was far from friendly.
Huo Sining didn’t know this woman, so she felt puzzled. She had never seen her before, yet this woman was glaring at her with such hostility, leaving Huo Sining feeling completely baffled by the situation.
What surprised Huo Sining even more was that after giving her such a look, the woman turned to Windsor Caesar:
“Emperor, long ti no see. I never expected that you would regress with age. Who would have thought that a noble gentleman trained by the English royal family would one day brawl in my humble bar like a street thug? You’ve lost all grace!”
The woman raised her proud chin at Windsor Caesar, her words clearly laced with sarcasm.
Windsor Caesar evidently didn’t expect to et this woman here. He smiled slightly, calmly bowed, resting his right hand on his shoulder, and perford a gentleman’s bow towards her, saying unfalteringly:
“Princess Semya, long ti no see. You’re right, I shouldn’t have caused a scene in your bar. However, you were wrong about one thing: a true gentleman does have a temper. In fact, if he can’t protect his companions, such a person would be nothing but a coward!”
Semya’s face froze, and she coldly glanced at Huo Sining before smirking and saying, “So it’s a case of hero saving beauty, huh? Didn’t expect the usually indifferent Windsor Emperor to have such a side. You’re quite the romantic.”
The woman suddenly challenged Huo Sining, saying, “You may have caused trouble in my bar, and I might let that go, but since you broke my things, you’ll have to follow my bar’s rules to handle it.”
Seeing that Semya knew Windsor Caesar, Huo Sining assud there might be so connection between them, so she relaxed and quickly nodded, “Of course. You can na the price for the damage, and we’ll pay without complaint.”
Semya gave Huo Sining a disdainful glance, sneering, “Pay? That’s a joke. Do you think soone like
lacks money?”
Huo Sining’s tone instantly faltered, awkwardly looking at Semya, “I’m sorry, Miss. That wasn’t what I ant. But if we’re not paying, what are your bar’s rules? May I know?”
The woman looked at the girls and Li Jun, and Gu Xu standing behind Huo Sining with a mocking smile, saying:
“The rules of my bar are simple. Whoever causes trouble here must pay the price and work as free public relations in my bar for three months. My attitude and whether to pursue compensation depend on their cooperation.”
Upon hearing this, Huo Sining’s face changed dramatically, and even Windsor Caesar’s expression darkened.
The so-called public relations was actually code for providing special services. Huo Sining never expected that Semya would make such an outrageous request. Her expression turned cold, and she sneered:
“Miss, you might be disappointed. There’s a saying in Huaxia Country: ‘Respect others, and you will be respected; humiliate others, and you only humiliate yourself.’ We were simply defending ourselves. If you insist on being unreasonable, we are not afraid of standing up for justice.”
Huo Sining felt she had no enmity with this woman, yet she was targeted right from the start with obvious malice, which made her angry. Not one to shy away from a confrontation, Huo Sining, irked by this woman’s insults, disregarded any connection between Windsor Caesar and Semya and directly confronted the senseless woman before her.
