The helicopter formation, resembling a long serpent, rapidly flew over.

Bang bang bang~

In an instant, the machine guns mounted on the five helicopters spewed fiery tongues, and a barrage of shells rained towards Er Pang and his group in the residential area.

Whoosh whoosh~

One shell after another ca whistling in.

Lu Chuan’s gaze remained calm as he directed Da Pang, Er Pang, and other Tank Type zombies to raise their arms, which were like tal door panels, forming a wall of flesh shields, standing firm at the front of the residential area.

Boom~

In the blink of an eye, the barrage from the machine guns slamd into the shield wall, erupting into dazzling blasts of firelight while emitting a series of tallic collision sounds.

The five torrents of tal unleashed by the five ard helicopters had no effect on the shield wall, as Da Pang and the other Corpse Puppets stood unyielding, like an immovable mountain.

The defense of the fourth-tier Corpse Puppets was not sothing these machine guns could shake.

Seeing this, Lu Chuan’s lips curled slightly, and with a re thought, Fla One and Fla Two, who were standing by behind the shield wall, sprang into action simultaneously.

For dealing with such flying targets, only remote Corpse Puppets like Fla One were the most effective.

Fla One and Fla Two, whose bodies seed made of magma, suddenly burst into flas and completed their Flaming transformation, turning into two fla giants over three ters tall. The fiery blaze emitted endless light and heat, with waves of heat sweeping across the entire farm.

Lu Chuan, Ji Ruxue, and the others, being too close, could distinctly feel the burning heat stinging their faces as the waves of heat rolled in.

After transforming into two fla giants, the flas on Fla One and Fla Two began to spread along the ground, connecting with each other to form a sea of flas.

At this mont, the two Corpse Puppets stood in the middle of the blazing sea, appearing like two fire elves born from the inferno.

Roar~

With a skyward howl radiating endless ferocity, the two Corpse Puppets raised their hands almost simultaneously, confronting the incoming helicopter squadron.

In an instant, fiery balls each a ter in diater shot out from the blaze like rising suns, streaking swiftly through the night towards the helicopter formation.

Particularly, the lead helicopter was the primary target of the assault.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh-

At this mont, the entire sky was as bright as day, with fireballs quickly closing in on the ard helicopters of the Sky Squad. The intense heat wave that preceded them caused the helicopters to falter mid-flight, swaying erratically while emitting creaking noises.

"Watch out!"

The rapidly approaching fireballs took the Sky Squad by surprise.

"Quick, we must leave, we can’t stay in the helicopters!"

Captain Lin roared, leaping from the cabin door. The black scaled wings on his back flapped frantically, swiftly pulling him away.

The other mbers of the Sky Squad also displayed their unique talents, quickly escaping from the helicopters.

However, the multitude of fireballs were too fast, and in an instant, they were upon them. The last mber of the Sky Squad had just escaped the helicopter when countless fireballs collided violently.

"No!!!"

Boom!

Nurous fireballs crashed into the helicopter, exploding on impact. The mber of the Sky Squad, unable to escape in ti, let out a final, unwilling scream before being consud entirely by the engulfing blaze, life extinguished.

At this mont, the massive explosion of fireballs, combined with the explosion of the helicopter, ford a gigantic fireball suspended in the sky above the farm, resembling a true sun, refusing to fade away.

The sudden change startled the following helicopters in the formation, causing them to quickly change direction to avoid the massive fireball. The pilots desperately tried to control the helicopters’ balance, attempting to keep them flying steadily.

Scattered in the sky, the Sky Squad watched in shock as a comrade perished before their eyes, disbelief evident in all their gazes.

Soon, their eyes reddened, and they were filled with rage.

"Kill! Make sure to destroy all the Fire-breathing Zombies for !"

Flying high above, Captain Lin glared angrily at Fla One and Fla Two below, eyes filled with hatred.

In the next instant, the mbers of the Sky Squad launched a frantic assault.

Boom!

In an instant, mbers with Flaming Ability transford into Firen, faces full of murderous intent. They thrust their hands forward, unleashing a torrent of flas. The terrifying heat seed to warp the surrounding space.

Simultaneously, other mbers displayed their talents, exerting every bit of their strength to avenge their fallen comrade.

Among them, Captain Lin suddenly let out a beast-like roar to the sky, wings stretching wide. His body underwent a dramatic transformation, finally morphing into a winged, humanoid creature covered in layers of black scale armor.

Then, Captain Lin let out a roar, swooping down with deadly black claws aid at his enemies.

anwhile, blue Wind Blades zipped through the air, slicing the air with a tearing sound. Under the control of a Sky Squad mber, these blades ford a Wind Blade Tornado surging downward.

A flat-headed young man with transformation abilities also turned into a giant black eagle, extending powerful, sturdy talons.

In an instant, no fewer than six lethal attacks converged towards Fla One and Fla Two, who were protected by Da Pang and the other Corpse Puppets below.

Rumble~

However, the collective assault had no effect on the wall of Tank Type zombies like Da Pang.

Whether the scorching torrents of flas or the Wind Blade Tornado like a at grinder, they only left faint traces, slight scorching, and shallow blade marks on the bodies of Da Pang and the other Corpse Puppets.

And the physical attacks from Captain Lin and the others were exactly where Da Pang and the other Corpse Puppets excelled in defense.

After clashing, only a few tallic collision sounds echoed before Captain Lin and the others were blasted back by the powerful counterforce.

Nevertheless, the Sky Squad didn’t retreat but instead attacked even more ferociously. Confident in their aerial advantage, they believed victory was within grasp.

Unexpectedly, at this mont, Fla One and Fla Two, hiding behind Da Pang and the others, made their move again.

In an instant, flas shot to the sky, forming a colossal net of fire overhead. The fiery glow and waves of heat enveloped the Sky Squad still maneuvering in the air.

Faced with the terrifying power and resilience of the flaming net, the Sky Squad found themselves at a distinct disadvantage, continuously dodging to avoid being ensnared.

Captain Lin roared incessantly in the air, launching attacks on the fire net, but to little effect. His body was covered with burns and charred patches, yet he still couldn’t dent the massive fire net.

By the window, watching the Sky Squad in the sky, Ji Ruxue’s eyes glead coldly as a few embroidery needles appeared in her palm.

PS: It’s the author’s first ti writing a post-apocalyptic novel. I know this book has many issues, so readers’ complaints are justified... I apologize to my readers.

Nevertheless, I will persist in completing it, culminating in roughly 1.2 million words. It’s also my first attempt at such a long piece.

Moreover, I probably won’t read comnts anymore. I’m afraid I’ll lose my resolve, so I’ll just focus on writing quietly without distractions...
