The command echoed across the battlefield. Crack!
The protective barrier surrounding Moona and Maxi suddenly fractured.
A spiderweb of cracks spread across its surface.
Then... Boom!
Moona and Maxi froze. Shock filled their eyes.
They had not expected the protection Ivy had given them to fail so suddenly.
Unfortunately, that mont of hesitation was all Tammy needed.
She reacted instantly. A terrifying psychic attack shot directly toward their minds.
The attack was so fast that neither sister had ti to react.
Both girls staggered forward before collapsing onto their knees.
Seeing this opportunity, Coco imdiately activated her ability.
Invisible psychic force wrapped around both sisters.
They were violently dragged backward.
anwhile, Tammy removed a dagger from her storage device.
She had no intention of wasting more ti.
The dagger aid directly at Moona’s heart.
However, before she could strike, a voice rang out.
"Wait."
Tammy froze. Everyone turned toward Nanami.
Tammy’s eyes narrowed. "Nanami."
There was visible displeasure in her voice.
"Are you siding with them?"
Nanami simply shook his head. "No."
He calmly stepped forward. "I just want to examine them first."
The others frowned. Even Tammy looked annoyed.
However, before anyone could object, Nanami closed his eyes.
A strange energy spread from his body.
Then he quietly murmured, "Speak the truth."
The mont those words were spoken, both Moona and Maxi felt sothing strange happen.
Their mouths opened against their will.
"This is all a trap. We are stalling for ti."
The words escaped Moona’s lips.
Maxi continued imdiately afterward.
"We knew the superior beings would be here. We knew you would attempt to ambush us. More people are already coming to this location."
The mont those words were spoken, both sisters went pale.
Their eyes widened in horror.
They could not believe they had revealed that information.
anwhile, the expressions of the superior beings changed dramatically.
Tammy’s face darkened. A terrifying killing intent erupted from her body.
Without hesitation, she lunged forward.
The dagger pierced Moona’s chest. A second strike pierced Maxi’s heart.
Blood instantly spilled from their wounds.
The sisters gasped.
Their faces beca deathly pale.
For a mont, it looked as though they could stop breathing at any second.
Only after stabbing both of them did Tammy turn toward Nanami.
"These two are useless now."
Her voice was cold.
"Even if Ivy manages to save them, they’ll be nothing more than a burden."
At that point, all four superior beings understood one thing.
Reinforcents were coming.
And if Silas arrived, or worse, if Ivy arrived, their chances of escaping would beco minimal.
Without another word, they imdiately fled.
Monts later, multiple superhumans arrived at the scene.
The mont they saw Moona and Maxi convulsing on the ground, panic spread through the group.
Without hesitation, they rushed both girls back toward the Silvy Base.
Inside the dical facility, Moona and Maxi were imdiately handed over to Alana.
The mont she saw their condition, her expression beca extrely ugly.
"They stabbed their hearts..."
Her voice trembled slightly.
As healing energy poured into their bodies, she quickly realized sothing was wrong.
Her healing power was working. Yet it wasn’t working.
Every ti she repaired part of the damage, an invisible force seed to block her progress.
It was as though an unseen barrier existed inside their bodies.
When Ivy arrived and saw Alana’s troubled expression, she imdiately understood.
"You feel a barrier."
Alana looked up in surprise. "How do you know?"
Ivy remained silent for several monts.
Then she softly replied, "It’s difficult to explain."
She lowered her gaze. "Now isn’t the ti."
Finally, she continued. "But I can help you."
Alana stared at her.
Before she could ask another question, Ivy reached out and held her hand.
The mont their hands touched, a warm current flowed from Ivy’s body and a strange energy entered Alana.
Alana’s eyes widened. She had never felt anything like it before.
Yet she trusted Ivy completely.
Following Ivy’s instructions, she imdiately directed that energy into Moona and Maxi.
The results appeared almost instantly. The invisible resistance weakened.
The damaged hearts began stabilizing.
Even their previously fading heartbeats beca stronger.
Everyone present stared in disbelief.
Several people even rubbed their eyes.
For a mont, they wondered if they were imagining things.
After ensuring that Moona and Maxi were stable, Ivy imdiately ordered additional guards to watch over them.
Only then did she return to her living room.
Soon afterward, Alana, and Felix gathered there.
Once everyone sat down, Ivy looked directly at Alana.
"You probably have a lot of questions."
Alana imdiately nodded.
"More than a few."
Ivy gave a faint smile. "I won’t waste ti going around in circles."
She took a deep breath.
"The truth is that ever since I transford you into one of my own, I’ve felt a connection between us."
Alana frowned. "A connection?"
Ivy nodded. "It’s as though whatever you feel, I can sense it as well. Not constantly. But whenever your emotions beco especially strong. Whenever there are feelings you can’t explain to anyone else. I can feel them."
Alana stared at her in complete shock.
After several monts, she finally spoke.
"Is this so sort of privilege?"
Ivy imdiately shook her head.
"No. It’s more accurate to call it a bond."
Her fingers lightly tapped the table.
"It cos from the bloodline transformation. Since my blood beca part of you, I can sense the condition of your body to a certain extent."
Understanding slowly appeared in Alana’s eyes.
"I see."
Then she beca quiet.
After all, if Ivy truly felt what she felt, then there were many monts Ivy had probably sensed her sadness as well.
Although Ivy could not hear specific conversations, she had likely experienced fragnts of her emotions.
Realizing that made Alana feel unexpectedly embarrassed.
Noticing her reaction, Ivy gave her a gentle and comforting glance.
"There is another reason I brought this up."
Everyone imdiately beca attentive. A faint smile appeared on Ivy’s face.
"I have a way to make Felix and your children beco superior beings too."
