Yeah. It is a fissure day again. I’m sorry, but I can’t control them. At least not yet.
And when I can, I’ll end them for good, even if that ans no more easy new sets.
I took Kurt, Dante and Miris with . They didn’t get a chance last ti since Unika took over that fissure, so the trio hadn’t yet tested their evolved strength against SS-ranks.
And sadly they didn’t get to this ti either. As a group of three S-ranks showed up from the fissure.
It was still an alright test, even if the monsters fell a bit too quickly. Dante ‘struggled’ the most, and that is because he isn’t used to his Demonic skills. Kurt just brought down a couple of lightning bolts to end his, and Miris tested out the effectiveness of his venom, and it was extrely effective.
We did have to clean up a bit. We were basically on top of a tradepath between cities, and Dante had burnt so stuff when he tried to combine Demonic Magic and Fire Magic. Which can be done, he just put a bit too much power into it.
There were also so spots damaged by Kurt’s lightning, but that was nothing major and would heal quickly without any help from us.
Not that nature repairs are anything difficult. Nature Magic is powerful at the level I have it, and leveling the road again isn’t a problem either. It probably ca out better than it was.
Maybe I should ask if the Kingdoms want to hire to remake all of these roads. Could be sothing to do while I wait for the States to get their armies ready to attack. Or whatever they are waiting for.
Anyway, pack ti. Yes, I got two sets again.
Legendary Duelists and Legendary Duelists: Ancient Millennium.
I know both of these sets have reprints of old cards, but they also have so new stuff, and so of it should be nice.
The first one has Red-Eyes support, since it has Joey on the cover. So so new cards for Alice perhaps?
Let’s see with 10 packs.
Spoiler
LEDU 1
Cyberdark Keel; Armoroid; A Legendary Ocean; Bonding - D2O; Riryoku
[collapse]
Bonding - D2O is here to save us from the first pack being ‘nothing new here’. And it ans we can get the Water Dragon Cluster. Not really the craziest retrain, but it is better than the OG. Then again, basically everything is. Water Dragon kind of sucks.
Also, Keel being in this pack ans the next wave of Cyberdarks should also be here. So Claw, Cannon and Cyber Darkness Dragon.
Next pack.
Spoiler
LEDU 2
Inferno Fire Blast; Yomi Ship; Cyberdark Horn; Cyberdark Claw; Inferno Fire Blast
[collapse]
Why are there two Inferno Fire Blast? Just asking.
Cyberdark Claw is … I want to say great, but it ca out kind of late to matter. It is still a great card, just not for the ti. Discard for search, great. Extra Foolish Burial, great. The recovery when it is sent to the GY after being equipped to a monster, also great. So it might seem like a great card, and it kind of is. But it is sadly stuck in a not so great archetype. … even if I really do like them.

Spoiler
LEDU 3
Amazoness Archer; Red-Eyes Black Dragon; Cyberdark Edge; Amazoness Call; Armoroid
[collapse]
Amazoness Call searches for Amazoness cards. You can also mill them, but let's be honest, you are probably searching for 1. It can also banish itself to allow an Amazoness to attack all monsters your opponent controls.
… And I’m seeing a pattern. Only the Rares are new and all the commons are reprints. And I’m not sure if I like it.

LEDU 4
Inferno Fire Blast; Red-Eyes Retro Dragon; Cyberdark Keel; Bonding - DHO; Cyberdark Edge
[collapse]
Bonding - DHO summons Water Dragon Cluster. It is arguably better than Bonding - D2O, but take your pick. Neither is really all that amazing, mainly because the Cluster isn’t, nor are the needed materials.
Next pack.
Spoiler
LEDU 5
A Legendary Ocean; Vehicroid Connection Zone; Wonder Balloons; Sea Stealth Attack; The Legendary Fisherman III
[collapse]
Sea Stealth Attack is alright. Protecting Spells and Traps can be handy, as is the effect to destroy stuff before damage calc.
Next pack.
Spoiler
LEDU 6
Expressroid; Red-Eyes Black Dragon; Oxygeddon; Sea Stealth Attack; Red-Eyes Black Dragon
[collapse]
Nothing new here, next.
Spoiler
LEDU 7
Cyberdark Keel; Expressroid; The Golden Apples; Rage of Kairyu-Shin; Amazoness Archer
[collapse]
Rage of Kairyu-Shin is pretty good. Mass destruction that also blocks zone use is nice. Sure you need to control multiple level 5 or higher Water monsters, but that should be your decks strategy if you are using this card.
Next pack.
Spoiler
LEDU 8
Red-Eyes Fusion; Armoroid; The Legendary Fisherman III; Rage of Kairyu-Shin; Bonding - H2O
[collapse]
Nothing new here, next.
Spoiler
LEDU 9
Monster Reincarnation; Inferno Fire Blast; A Legendary Ocean; Amazoness Call; Sergeant Electro
[collapse]
Nothing new here, next.
Spoiler
LEDU 10
The Legendary Fisherman; Riryoku; Sergeant Electro; Mixeroid; Bonding - H2O
[collapse]
Well, at least Mixeroid is new. It can summon stuff from the deck, which is nice. The GY ‘pay half your LP, banish Machines equal to the level of a Machine Fusion, summon that Machine fusion ignoring summoning conditions’ seems nice, but it is so expensive. Having to banish 8, 10 or even 12 monsters is way too expensive. And you have to pay half your LP. It might allow for a situational coback, but good luck with that. Just run Overload Fusion, Chiratech Overdragon and 1 copy of Cyber Dragon instead.
… it really is a sha only the rares are new. Because I’ll probably do a mass opening of this set next ti, since individual packs are pretty boring.
Hopefully the sa won’t be the case with LED2: Ancient Millennium.
Spoiler
LED2 1
Blast Sphere; Black Illusion Ritual; Ti Machine; Illusionist Faceless Magician; Instant Fusion
[collapse]
… Okay. Sa deal here. Only the rare is new.
Illusionist Faceless Magician is alright ‘Eyes Restrict’ / ‘Relinquished’ support. It specials itself when one of those is destroyed, and when it is destroyed, it summons one of them from the GY.
Next pack.
Spoiler
LED2 2
Barrel Dragon; VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon; Pinch Hopper; Corrosive Scales; Blast Sphere
[collapse]
Corrosive Scales sounds like a racial skill. Maybe I need to run an experint with it to see if it can be turned into one. I can probably install it into soone with appropriate scales to do that, but since I am a System God, I can just do so backend developnt instead.
Unless there already is a similar skill that I just haven’t read up on. I don’t know every skill in the System, especially rare racial skills.
As a card, it is alright. It forces monsters to attack the equipped monster, and each ti your opponent special summons, all of their monsters get a counter, and the counters lower their attack by 100 for each counter. So worse Venom counters basically.
Next pack.
Spoiler
LED2 3
Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem; Barrel Dragon; Thousand-Eyes Restrict; Mimicat; Ultimate Crystal Magic
[collapse]
… and now even the rare is a repeat. But luckily the Super Rare isn’t.
Ultimate Crystal Magic is a Fusion Trap for ‘Ultimate Crystal’ monsters. It really is a sha Konami’s localization departnt refuses to use ‘God’ in card nas, because I like the ‘Ultimate Gem God’ na the Japanese cards use.
The activation condition for Ultimate Crystal Magic is also really easy to achieve. Sure any competent Yugioh player will notice the trap, but so what? Crystal Beasts were never the best ta deck. Just a fun deck you can use if you want.
The GY effect is also great.
Next pack.
Spoiler
LED2 4
Black Illusion Ritual; Worm Bait; Rainbow Dragon; Parasite Paranoid; Millennium-Eyes Restrict
[collapse]
Parasite Paranoid is alright. It equips to a monster and prevents that monster from attacking Insect type monsters, and negates effects of the monster that target Insects. And when destroyed, you get to special summon an Insect from the hand ignoring summoning conditions.
Millennium-Eyes Restrict is a nice retrain of the original. Easier materials, can take monsters from the field or the GY, and monsters with the sa na as what is equipped to this thing cannot use their effects, have their on field effects negated, and cannot attack. And unlike the OG, this one doesn’t have a limit on the number of monsters it can have equipped to it.
Next pack.
Spoiler
LED2 5
Relinquished; Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem; Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth; Parasite Paranoid; Millennium-Eyes Restrict
[collapse]
… wow. Thanks Pack Opener. I wanted the exact sa rare and ultra rare two packs in a row. How did you know?
Well, at least this is a good opportunity to ntion that you can summon Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth with Parasite Paranoid’s effect.
Next pack.
Spoiler
LED2 6
Insect Queen; Relinquished; Barrel Dragon; Ancient Gear Fra; Ancient Gear gaton Golem
[collapse]
Ancient Gear Fra is nice. Searches Ancient Gear Golem, or Spells or Traps that ntion it. Has the Ancient Gear ‘no backrow during battle’ effect. And if your opponent destroys it with a card effect, well, special 3 Ancient Gear Golems, including Ultimate Pound, from your hand ignoring summoning conditions. A stupid trap effect since no one would fall for it, but it is funny.
Ancient Gear gaton Golem can attack multiple tis, has the usual no backrow effect, and floats into Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem if it leaves the field because of a card effect.
Next pack.
Spoiler
LED2 7
Vortex Trooper; Ard Dragon LV5; Worm Bait; Ojama Pajama; Proton Blast
[collapse]
Ojama Pajama is alright for Ojama decks, but nothing else.
Proton Blast is another alright card. You’d basically just run it in a Barrel Dragon deck, but it does put in so work.
Next pack.
Spoiler
LED2 8
Worm Bait; Pinch Hopper; Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem; Corrosive Scales; Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus
[collapse]
Nothing new here, next.
Spoiler
LED2 9
VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon; Relinquished; Ojamagic; Toon Kingdom; Ard Dragon LV5
[collapse]
Already had the Kingdom, so nothing new here, next.
Spoiler
LED2 10
Ard Dragon LV7; Crystal Tree; Ancient Gear Golem - Ultimate Pound; Ojamatch; Instant Fusion
[collapse]
Ojamatch is alright. It isn’t as good as the VWXYZ support spell, but it does help in going into Ard Dragons.
But yeah. That is it for now. 2 new sets, 18 new cards from 20 packs. Not the greatest, but you can’t expect too much from sets that are like 50% reprints. And 99% of that 50% are commons.
