Alright. Fissure day. Again. I don’t mind, but there definitely have been more recently.
I wonder if sothing is actively making them worse, or if this is just natural degeneration. I an technically HoBase could be making it worse, as it is a huge gathering of power. But most of our mana is made by mana flowers, so I doubt that.
Instead, it could be the Power Structure. Like HoBase, it forces power to gather at points, or in people. It really is the ultimate pyramid sche of a skill. Everyone gets more powerful, but the ones at the top get the most.
So it is possible that the States are causing strain on the dinsional barriers with it. I just need to understand the barrier better before I can say definitely.
The duo that dealt with the fissure monsters today was Unika and Cailie. Cailie wanted to test her buffed support spells, and Unika felt like she was falling behind because of Wilma, Alice and Cailie’s evolutions. Even though she is still the strongest of my wives, outside of Janina. … Well, Alice does outdo her when it cos to Magic, Lua is better at healing, Cailie is better at support, Wilma has her multitude of weapons…
But in terms of stat total, Unika is the strongest. Her magic skillset allows her to fight huge groups of enemies with ease, while she can also use her Bow skills to take out important targets.
Anyway. As a surprise to no one, the fissure fell in no ti at all. Unika sniped the SS-ranks and Stella manifested herself to burn the single S-rank that ca with it. Cailie barely even had the ti to buff them before the monsters were already dead.
And when Exodia finished his part, I got my new set. Code of the Duelist. And do you know what that ans? Maybe you do if I show you the cover image on the packs.

Yeah. We are getting Code Talkers. And other Link monsters. Because we are moving to the Link era, luckily without master rule 4.
And I think you may rember, but I’ve compared Unika, with her nine tails, to a Link monster. So I’ve really been wanting so for her deck.
… And I do also really like both Firewall Dragon, the Rokket archetype, and the Topologic Links. Sadly this set doesn’t have Rokkets, but it should co with Topologic Bomber Dragon.
So let’s see if I can get the Bomber or Firewall Dragon from 10 packs.
Spoiler
COTD 1
Parry Knights; Boogie Trap; Jack Wyvern; Ancient Gear Golem - Ultimate Pound; Wicked Acolyte Chilam Sabak; Stack Reviver; Gravity Lash; Cyberse Wizard; Twilight Eraser
[collapse]
Parry Knights is alright. Specials itself when you take battle damage, and then specials another monster with attack lower than the damage you took.
Boogie Trap is just trap recovery.
Jack Wyvern is … alright, I suppose. Average stats, and an effect to resurrect a Dark monster. But it is an expensive effect, since you have to banish both Jack Wyvern and another monster from the field.
Ancient Gear Golem - Ultimate Pound seems nice at first, but it really isn’t. It can’t be special summoned like the OG Ancient Gear Golem, and while the triple attacking can be nice, it is resource expensive. The Poly search after destruction is nice, but it really should search for any Polyrization, Fusion or Power Bond card. Would have actually made it great.
Wicked Acolyte Chilam Sabak can special summon itself, and if it is destroyed by battle, it cos back in defense position and is treated as a Tuner.
Stack Reviver if used as a Link material, allows you to special summon 1 other Cyberse monster that was also used as a Link material for that summon.
Gravity Lash makes a monster lose attack equal to its defense.
Cyberse Wizard is kind of stupid. It turns a monster into defense position and forces you to only attack that monster. Sure it cos with piercing damage, but still.
Twilight Eraser is basically a Lightsworn archetype banish 2 trap.

COTD 2
Pulse Mines; Orbital Hydralander; Jack Wyvern; World Legacy Landmark; Destiny HERO - Dangerous; World Legacy's Heart; Samurai Skull; Heavy Storm Duster; Trickstar Lilybell
[collapse]
Pulse Mines forces monsters your opponent controls to defense position. … what is this, 2005?
Orbital Hydralander is an interesting monster, as it encourages you to run monsters with different nas. It is a strong monster, just … difficult to use in most decks. Busted in any sort of sealed or limited format though.
World Legacy Landmark specials 2 monsters from your GY, but you have to banish a World Legacy monster from the hand or field.
Destiny HERO - Dangerous lets you mill a Destiny HERO and all of your D-Heroes get 200 attack for each D-Hero in your GY.
World Legacy's Heart returns 2 World Chalice monsters from the GY to hand.
Samurai Skull mills a Zombie on summon, and when destroyed by a card effect, you can special a Zombie from the deck.
Heavy Storm Duster destroys 2 Spells or Traps.
Trickstar Lilybell specials itself if you add it to your hand, except by drawing it. It can attack directly and when it does battle damage, you can add a Trickstar from your GY to hand.

COTD 3
Smile Universe; Samurai Skull; Backup Secretary; Launcher Commander; Gravity Lash; Destiny HERO - Dangerous; Orbital Hydralander; Supre King Dragon Odd-Eyes; Gouki The Great Ogre
[collapse]
Smile Universe is not worth it. Sure you get a bunch of monsters, but your opponent gets a ton of life points, and you can’t even use the monsters you summon for anything since you can’t special summon for the rest of the turn.
Backup Secretary just special summons herself. But she is cute, so she can have a h effect. And I might need a better online security force as more people get internet capable phones. The Cyberse monsters should be perfect for that.
Launcher Commander boosts Cyberse monsters by 300, and you can tribute a Cyberse to destroy a card.
Gouki The Great Ogre is pretty strong. Making all monsters lose attack equal to their defense is huge, and it can prevent its own destruction by destroying a monster it points. to.

COTD 4
The Ascended of Thunder; Wicked Acolyte Chilam Sabak; Infernity Patriarch; F.A. Hang On Mach; Supre Rage; Backup Secretary; Predaplant Banksiogre; Supre King Dragon Dark Rebellion; Auram the World Chalice Blademaster
[collapse]
The Ascended of Thunder specials itself if you pay 3k LP. And if it is destroyed, by your opponent, you heal for 5k.
Infernity Patriarch specials itself if it is the only card in your hand. And if you have no cards in hand, you can banish it from the GY to protect an Infernity monster from destruction.
F.A. Hang On Mach is an F.A. It gains attack based on its level, gains a level each ti you activate an F.A. Spell or Trap, and if it is level 7 or above, stuff sent to the GY gets banished.
Supre Rage is crazy. Sure you must control Z-ARC, but it specials 4 monsters, and you can then banish it to give Supre King Dragon Dark Rebellion 2 Xyz materials.
Predaplant Banksiogre specials itself by tributing a monster with a Predaplant counter. So you can tribute your opponent’s monster. And when it dies, it gives all opposing monsters a Predaplant counter, and makes them level 1 when they have a counter. Yeah. That second part is quite busted. I can potentially make armies level 1 with it. Sotis the ‘bad’ monsters are the best for my use.
Auram the World Chalice Blademaster is easy enough to summon, gains more attack for each differently nad World Legacy monster in your GY, can special summon stuff from the GY, and when destroyed, specials a World Chalice from the hand.

COTD 5
Zombina; Stack Reviver; Vendread Revenants; Predaplant Banksiogre; Orbital Hydralander; Transmission Gear; Galaxy Worm; Gouki Re-Match; Twilight Eraser
[collapse]
Zombina resurrects a level 4 or lower monster when it dies.
Vendread Revenants specials itself when it is destroyed, but then banishes itself when it leaves the field. It also gives a Vendread Ritual summoned using it an effect to banish special summoned monsters.
Transmission Gear is a stupid card.
Galaxy Worm specials a level 3 or lower Galaxy monster when normal summoned to an empty field.
Gouki Re-Match specials 2 Gouki from your GY.

COTD 6
Ancient Gear Golem - Ultimate Pound; Junk Breaker; Galaxy Worm; Wicked Acolyte Chilam Sabak; Dark World Brainwashing; Transmission Gear; World Legacy's Heart; Gouki The Great Ogre; Motivating Captain
[collapse]
Junk Breaker is alright. It can tribute itself to negate the effects of all face up monsters for the turn. The sad part is that you have to normal summon it for that effect, so it isn’t as good as it could, or maybe should, be.
Dark World Brainwashing does the Dark World thing of making your opponent’s effect be “Discard 1 random card from your opponent's hand”. Which can be really powerful in that archetype.
Motivating Captain specials a level 4 or lower monster from the GY when normal summoned.
Next pack.
Spoiler
COTD 7
Infernity Patriarch; Twilight Twin Dragons; Boogie Trap; Speedroid Passinglider; Ancient Gear Golem - Ultimate Pound; Parry Knights; F.A. Circuit Grand Prix; Trickstar Lycoris; Supre King Dragon Starving Venom
[collapse]
Twilight Twin Dragons ‘helps’ with Judgnt and Punishnt Dragon strategies. But most of the ti, Punishnt Dragon isn’t worth running, so neither is this card.
Speedroid Passinglider can manipulate its Pen scale by discarding a Speedroid Tuner, which can get expensive quickly. It can special itself to an empty field, but if you actually tribute summon it, you get to special summon a Speedroid from the GY.
F.A. Circuit Grand Prix increases the levels of F.A. monsters by 2 during the battle phases, lets you draw a card when an F.A. destroys a monster by battle, and if destroyed, you get to search for an F.A. card, except Grand Prix.
Trickstar Lycoris is the main burn engine of the Trickstar deck. If you’ve played against Trickstars, you know why it is great. I don’t know exactly how it will work with the entire ‘mana equals cards’ equation so of my cards use, but it might be really powerful. Imagine taking 1 damage each ti you regain 1 mana or sothing. You will literally burn yourself to death. And most people, myself included, don’t have a skill to resist ‘instant damage’ like that. Because there are no skills like that, except unique skills.

COTD 8
Speedroid Passinglider; Zombina; Smile Universe; Erging Ergency Rescute Rescue; Performapal Trumpanda; Junk Breaker; Orbital Hydralander; Ryko, Twilightsworn Fighter; Traptrix Mantis
[collapse]
Erging Ergency Rescute Rescue is stupid-ly nad. It isn’t a bad card, as it is a searcher, but you have to have less LP than your opponent, and it is still semi-random. I an I suppose you can pick 3 copies of the sa card, so it isn’t so random. But you can’t search for a one of card.
Performapal Trumpanda slowly increases its Pendulum scale and can even reach 12. … if you can wait for 9 turns.
Ryko, Twilightsworn Fighter is a h retrain of the OG. Sure it banishes the card instead of destroying it, but you have to banish a Lightsworn from the hand or GY for the effect.
Traptrix Mantis searches for a Traptrix monster on summon. It also allows you to return a Spell or Trap you control to the hand to set a Spell or Trap from your hand. Which might seem useless, but it does help with so Continuous Spells and Traps that have an effect when activated.

COTD 9
Gravity Lash; Zombina; Crowned by the World Chalice; F.A. Downforce; Abyss Actor - Trendy Understudy; Three Strikes Barrier; Erging Ergency Rescute Rescue; Trickstar Lilybell; Gouki The Great Ogre
[collapse]
Crowned by the World Chalice has a great artwork, and 2100 defense is nice.
F.A. Downforce just increases the level of an F.A. monster by 2 for the turn. But it can do this twice since it can banish itself to retrigger the effect.
Abyss Actor - Trendy Understudy allows you to add a Level 1 or 8 "Abyss Actor" Pendulum Monster from your Extra Deck to your hand when you Pendulum summon. As a monster it can tribute itself to special a monster fitting the conditions above.
Three Strikes Barrier is stupid situational and the effects aren’t even that good.
Next pack.

COTD 10
Gogogo Aristera & Dexia; Parry Knights; Jack Wyvern; Destiny HERO - Dangerous; Treasure Panda; Zombina; Revendread Origin; Recall; Gouki Re-Match
[collapse]
Gogogo Aristera & Dexia is a decent monster. While it is on the field with another Gogogo monster, your opponent cannot target Gogogo monsters with effects or attacks. That would be a really powerful effect if this thing could special itself, but even outside of that, complete immunity from battle and targeting effects is great.
Treasure Panda can special a level 1, 2 or 3 vanilla from the deck, by banishing that number of Spells from the GY.
Revendread Origin is the Vendread Ritual Spell. It does have a few extra features, as it can banish Zombies as part of the cost, and the Spell can banish itself to protect Revendread Slayer from destruction.
Recall negates the activation of a monster effect, destroys the monster, but then your opponent gets to draw a card. Honestly not a terrible trap, but there just are better ones.
And that is it. Got 2 Links. Not bad, but I did hope I would have gotten a few more.
Well, I’ll get more next ti.
