3 year anniversary special: Story of Reincarnation[??? POV]
“I’m sorry to inform you, but you have died.” A young sounding voice said to .
“... I see. So my ti has co.” I said. I didn’t really know how to feel. I don’t really rember how I died. I know I was doing sothing important, but what was it?
Hopefully I’ll rember soon.
“So you accept that you are dead. That is good. We can get straight to business.” I heard the childish voice again, so I finally looked around.
I was in a white void, nothing anywhere, except a single person. He looked young, likely around 11 or 12. He had black hair and red eyes. He was dressed in a green tank top and blue shorts. He had a dark brown hooded sweatshirt that was open draped over his shoulders. He was wearing Crocs looking shoes, and had a pair of aviator sunglasses hanging on his shirt.
“I am one of the Gods currently responsible for taking souls to the afterlife in section 4 of independent worlds of world tier 9. As you are one who died before their soul weakened to the point of annihilation and reformation, I need to ask you, would you like to be reincarnated in another world with your current mories intact?”
Annihilation? No. I absolutely cannot do that. If I do, what I was trying to accomplish will be lost forever. … I just need to rember what it was.
“Reincarnation, please. If there really is no other option.” I answered.
“Well, I can always send you to afterlife, where your soul will weaken over ti, and then you will face the annihilation and reformation. If you have loved ones that have passed that you wish to see again, they will be there. If that is the case, I would recomnd it.” The God told . “But if you want to change the world, you won’t be able to do so in the afterlife. In the afterlife, nothing changes. It is eternally the sa. Just a storage ground for souls as they weaken so that they can be recycled.”
I thought about it for a while, and the God was clearly in no hurry, as he wasn’t pushing .
I do have people I’ve lost, but it has been so ti, so maybe they are no longer in the afterlife. And what is the point of going to the afterlife to see them, if they will just leave when their souls weaken to the point where they are recycled? I will just have to suffer losing them again.
Besides, what about that important thing that is in the back of my mind? Can I really just give up on it? If nothing changes in the afterlife, there is no way I can accomplish it there.
“... I will take the reincarnation, please.” I finally said.
“Good choice. Please give a mont as I look for a world that is suitable for your soul.” The God said, and I expected this to take so ti, like my thoughts had, but after the God looked at a phone looking device for what felt like the blink of an eye, he looked back at .
“Good news. We have a perfect world for you. It is what you may know as a dieval fantasy world with magic and all of that fun stuff.” The God said.
“... I think I’ve heard of them.” I said.
“Yes. These ‘isekai’ stories have beco more popular lately, haven’t they? Makes our jobs easier, as we don’t have to explain them.” The God said. “But as you are soone who transmigrates worlds, there is a minor problem. Your soul is more powerful than the souls of those born in that world. Despite you already having lived so, and having used so of your soul's power. As such, we need to use a bit of it. This will be done by turning that part of your soul into sothing you want. A cheat, if you will. For the world you are transmigrating to, this cheat will be in the form of either a rare or unique race, or a unique skill. You will also get the standard reincarnation package of Appraisal, Inventory and Language Comprehension, no matter your choice.”
I thought about it for a long ti. Race or skill. What kind of races were there in fantasy worlds? Maybe I should have taken the recomndations of my juniors and watched so of those ani. [I just never had the ti.] I just never spent my ti doing it.
But if I want to accomplish my goal, whatever it is, I need power. So a skill is what I need, right?
“I will take the skill, please.” I told the God.
“Of course. And what kind of skill would you like?” The God asked.
“I …”
After what felt like a really long ti, the God and I finalized my skill, and I was going to get reincarnated. The God explained to how the first few years of my life will be, then waved goodbye, as I fell asleep.
The next ti I knew sothing, I was in the body of a child. I couldn't move my body at all. It was driven by instincts. The God explained to that you can’t just have a fully aware soul in the body of a child, as I would damage the delicate body. All I could do is guide how the body would act a little.
But as I grew older, I got more control over my body and by the ti I was two years old, I had full control over my body.
And with that control, I was able to start working towards my goal. What was my goal again? I don’t rember, but I know I need power to accomplish it. And luckily, the skill God gave will be perfect for it.
When I first heard about the Goddess, I was infuriated. Who is this false god?! She isn’t The God I t. The person who is clearly a God. The person who must be a God, as I carry the skill they blessed with.
This false Goddess. I must prove to everyone they are fake!
… But how can I do that? I’m still just a child. Weak body and only the skills The God blessed with.
I see. So this is my goal. I need strength. I’ll get stronger. With my skill, I can beco the most powerful person in the world. I’ll carry the strength of an entire country, and I’ll use that strength to prove to the world that the Goddess is no God.
By my hand, a new God will rise to take the place of the Goddess. And if it has to be , so be it.
As I built up my resolve, a System screen appeared before .

This is my goal. It must be why I was reincarnated.
