CH.466 Verdant Roses
Today was a Synchro day. I got those new Synchro monsters when I … got frustrated with Pack Opener. But thanks to that frustrated bit, I have 5 new Synchroes to summon.
And, since my Synchro challenge is at 6/10, five more will get to my next reward.
… And I’ll also be summoning so Ritual monsters. I haven’t summoned any for a while, and I should have enough to where I can get the next two rewards from the Ritual Challenge.
But Synchro monsters co first, so let’s get on with it. So I quickly summoned out Magical Android, Avenging Knight Parshath, Goyo Guardian, Nitro Warrior and Thought Ruler Archfiend.

I then naturally summoned Ruddy Rose Dragon, and rechecked the challenge to check what the next reward would be.

Okay. Never heard of Garden Rose Flora, nor Ruddy Rose Witch, but considering the Ruddy in the Rose Witch’s na and the effect it has, I’d guess they ca out at the sa ti as Ruddy Rose Dragon. And since Garden Rose Flora ntions Rose Tokens, I’m guessing it is so sort of Black Garden support. And since Akiza was the one who used Black Garden in the ani, there is the link to Black Rose Dragon.
Well, whatever. They will be good Synchros for Cailie, so I’ll take them. Now let’s get onto the Rituals.
I started with the non-effect Rituals I haven’t yet summoned. Magician of Black Chaos, why haven’t I summoned him yet? What am I? Soone who doesn’t like Dark Magician?
Garma Sword, Javelin Beetle, Super War-Lion and Zera the Mant. All of them got up to 21, so I could claim the next reward, but I’ll just summon the rest of the Rituals first, and claim the rewards after.

I then summoned Blue-Eyes Chaos Dragon, and again checked what the next reward would be. Even though it will likely take a while before I can get access to it.

So the upgraded Ruin is my next reward. Not bad.
Honestly speaking, I got so nice stuff today. Got the Ruddy Rose Dragon, which I’ll need to get more copies of so that I can give one to Cailie, and I even got Chaos mini Dragon. Honestly makes realize that I should rember to do these challenges more often, because sotis they give you really cool cards.
After I got another few copies of Ruddy Rose Dragon with Different Dinsion Capsule, I then did the sa DNA Transplant and DNA Surgery treatnt to one of them, making a new Wind/Dragon/Plant/Synchro monster.

Like with Wind Rose Dragon, Cailie wanted to take her new dragon for a flight. I took that flight with her, but I was on my Thought Ruler Archfiend. Sure he isn’t a dragon, but he has wings and I can ride on him, so it works.

We also discovered that like Wind Rose Dragon, Verdant Rose Dragon also causes these roses to bloom wherever its petals fall. I did gather most of them, and when I later analyzed them, I figured out they were just slightly more potent versions of the regular erald roses we get from Wind Rose Dragon. I nad the upgraded forms verdant erald roses, because I can’t be bothered to co up with better nas.
Like with regular erald roses, verdant erald roses can be brewed into a tea that will boost your Wind Magic for so ti. You can also make potions that boost Wind Magic from them. But unlike with the regular ones, the tea and potions made with verdant erald roses also boost Nature Magic.
It isn’t a significant amount, but it has a decently long duration, so it isn’t terrible. And the tea made with verdant erald roses tastes really nice.
After the flight, Thought Ruler Archfiend made realize that there was sothing I wasn’t yet training for. Standing up against ntal attacks. Like mind control and that kind of stuff.
Admittedly I never thought to prepare against that because I have cards like Remove Brainwashing, and I’ve just never encountered anyone who can brainwash people.

But now that I have so Psychic monsters, who are skilled in different kinds of ntal attacks, I decided it was ti to start practicing that sort of stuff. Sure I could get the skill with an install of the aforentioned Remove Brainwashing, but my next install was decided so ti ago.
…speaking of, it is ti for to take that install.
And the install is … Swords of Revealing Light! For the skill Restraining Sword Barrage.

The skill is basically Gate of Babylon mixed with Unlimited Blade Works. Both are from the Fate series, in case you didn’t know them.
In short, with the LV.1 skill, I can generate up to 4 golden swords, and then launch them at my opponents. The swords break on contact with basically anything, don’t actually do any HP damage, and just inflict a stun effect on the opponent if they hit.
By default they just fly straight, but I can sowhat guide them with Telekinesis, or I can even wield one like a regular sword, but it does leave my hands tingly afterwards.
But after I get the skill leveled up, I’ll be able to make more swords at the sa ti, I'll be able to control them after 'launching' them, I can have the swords do so actual HP damage, and the stun effect will lengthen into temporary paralysis. It should make for an amazing crowd control skill.
I an, even with the higher level skill, I should be able to choose to just have the swords do 0 damage, so I can just spam them at people, no matter their level, with no chance of the swords accidentally killing anyone.
And, because there is more, I should be able to make a circle of swords around soone, or a group of people, and if they touch a sword, they get stunned or paralyzed. So I’ll be able to make my own Swords of Revealing Light.
… admittedly it will never be quite as powerful as the spell, as the spell freezes most non-friendlies inside and the skill will never gain that ability. But Ti Magic should be able to do that part.
