Sylvia and Elliot sat at the table where the black witch was being served with food. The man was eating at such speed that they doubted they had seen even a vampire eat at this pace. One dish getting over after another and the maid kept bringing more food.
Elliot leaned towards Sylvia, turning his head to her to ask, "Why is a black witch sitting in the dining room? Aren't you supposed to send him to the servants quarters and let him eat there?"
"Lord Alexander was the one who asked him to sit in the dining room," Sylvia whispered back to him so that the witcher wouldn't hear them, not that he would see him concentrate on his food as the fourth plate was served to him.
"How strange," Elliot murmured, his head turning back to look at the black witch.
"I never knew the appet.i.te of a black witch could be this much. It feels like a black void where he is dumping the food," Sylvia said to Elliot, picking up the gla.s.s of water in front of her and taking a sip from it.
"They actually do. So of the mainline black witches often abduct humans or animals to have them for their entire al," Elliot stated that had Sylvia cringe at the thought. She doubted she would be hungry anyti soon as just by seeing him her stomach felt full.
While Lord Alexander was discussing with Damien and Penny about the witch's ability and what took place down in the dungeon, Elliot and Sylvia were put to babysit the grown man, the black witch as he was being served with food.
Curious, Sylvia interrupted the man, "When was the last ti you had food? Apart from the fruit, you had half an hour ago," she asked him. Her red eyes t staring at his brown ones which looked at her lazily as he licked his fingers, pausing himself from his al.
"I had so fruits and so mushrooms which I didn't realize were poisoned. It has been months since I had a proper al," the black witch replied, seeing Sylvia not comnt on it, he went back to eating it.
It reminded Sylvia of the tis when her family was in dire condition. Lacking food where her parents had no money nor food to feed them.
"You shouldn't eat it too fast. Your stomach will flip and might not be able to digest if you eat any more than what you have eaten right now," she said to him, her eyes turning to the butler who was in the room, "Martin, you can take the food back," with one word of hers Martin had picked up the food which was still there on the table that had the black witcher give her a look of disbelief.
"Lady, I am not done eating," Isaiah's lazy eyes suddenly turned alive.
"Making sure you don't vomit what you ate," Sylvia responded back. Getting up from the chair, she started to walk towards the door of the dining room, "I will let Lord Alexander know you have eaten your al for this hour. The next food will be served at noon."
Isaiah still couldn't believe that the food he had intended to eat at last to enjoy the taste of it was taken away right in front of his eyes. Elliot hadn't followed Sylvia as he did, he continued to stare at the black witch, his eyes looking at him unblinkingly which the witcher felt aware of after the lady had left.
Finis.h.i. ng the last two bites that was on his plate, the black witcher took his own ti to finish it and Elliot only continued to stare at the man as if he were the most interesting thing in this room to look at.
"What?" Isaiah's eyes s.h.i. fted from his plate at the vampire who was looking at .
"What?" Elliot replied back, giving him a questionable look.
"Is there sothing you want?" asked the black witch, seeming slightly irritated that this vampire had not scattered from his sight. There was sothing very eerie the way he looked at him as if he wanted to dissect him. It made the black witchers' skin crawl.
Isaiah wasn't a black witch by nature but had been turned due to unfortunate events by tapping into sothing he wasn't aware about. Turning to the black witch was not sothing he had been looking forward to but at the sa ti, the magic enticed him enough to touch and access it more until he had completely turned into one.
If he were a black witch, he wouldn't have bothered the gaze that the vampire was now giving him which made him uncomfortable yet annoyed which he didn't bring upon his face. Continuing to keep his usual dull face, he stared at the man.
"I was only looking," the vampire smiled at him, his smile aning to lighten the atmosphere which in turn turned creepy in the witcher's eyes.
Not waiting for the vampire, Isaiah stood up, picking up the plates and walked out of the room. Elliot continued to sit there for a while before getting up himself and seeing himself out of the room.
In the study room, Lord Alexander gave a pointed look at Penny who gave him an awkward smile.
"Do you think the witcher won't find out if he were to test out and find out that the oath bond you made up was a lie? It can backfire," said Lord Alexander, his expression grim.
To rescue her from Alexander's looks, Damien interrupted his cousin, "She told it only to test him. I doubt he would try to betray her if he wanted he could have escaped from here last night but he stayed."
"What if it is sothing that he wants? We all are aware that black witches or turned ones at the complete stage are no less to each other," Alexander questioned them.
"You worry for no reason, Alex. I am sure he doesn't an any harm except to where he is planning to steal Penelope but seeing his actions it looks like he only ans well. Maybe a little ssed up here," Damien raised his finger to point it to his head.
