You're My Only Star Chapter 6 - Defeat A Boss

Song Xing Xing entered her apartnt and dropped down on the sofa with a long sigh.

Yesterday, she had the final screening for that episode she was in charge of. Although Producer Ming had said that it was perfect, so big bosses wanted her to do so minor adjustnts.

In the end, that minor adjustnt kept on changing and Song Xing Xing had to spend her night in the company, making those adjustnts until everyone was finally satisfied.

This morning, she had to show her edited episode to the big bosses again. Fortunately, this ti, everyone agreed that her last episode had passed the final screening.

By the ti she left the building, Song Xing Xing was too tired. Her body felt cold and all she wanted at this mont was to find her bed and sleep for a long ti.

Fortunately, she did not have to show up to work the next day. Just the thought that she can stay ho and sleep in for as long as she can make her very happy.

At this ti, a shadow jumped towards her and landed on her stomach.

Song Xing Xing snapped out of her thoughts and looked at the fat, gray cat. "Mr. Fluffball." Her voice turned gentler as she looked at the cat. Song Xing Xing stretched her hand and helped to scratch the feline behind his ear. "Did you miss ?"

The cat let out a ow before he sat down on his master's tummy.

Seeing the way the cat was acting, Song Xing Xing let out a laugh. "Alright. Get off . I'm tired."

"ow." The creature blinked slowly at her before he looked away.

"I know. I'll go and put so food in your bowl, alright?" Song Xing Xing said. "Will you get off now?"

The cat stared at her for a few seconds as if inspecting whether she was telling him the truth. Then, he jumped down from his master's tummy and ran over to the kitchen. He stopped as he reached his bowl and stared at his master again.

Song Xing Xing glanced at the dry food dispenser and clicked her tongue. "You still have a lot of food. Why don't you eat your dried food?"

The cat owed before he started to rub his body on his master's legs. Seeing the way he reacted, Song Xing Xing opened up the cabinet and took out one packet of his favorite wet food.

Once the cat had started to eat, Song Xing Xing went back to her room, took a shower, and went to bed to sleep.

When she woke up again, it was nearly six o'clock.

As soon as she woke up, her stomach started to growl. It was at this ti that she rembered that she had skipped her breakfast and lunch. Earlier, she was too sleepy and could not be bothered to think about food.

Song Xing Xing entered the kitchen to find sothing to eat and found that her refrigerator was empty. Picking up a packet of cookies, Song Xing Xing reached for her phone and ordered so takeaway.

While waiting for her food to arrive, Song Xing Xing clicked on the ga icon to kill her ti. The music started and she logged in to the ga. The first thing she did was to teleport back to her ho to check on her farm. Seeing that her chickens had laid so eggs, Song Xing Xing went to collect them before she started to check on other parts of the farm as well.

At this ti, the notification at the top blinked. Song Xing Xing clicked at the icon and saw an invitation from soone in her guild.

The person was called General Huo. Although his combat skill was not that good, this person was soone who spent a lot in the ga. Among the people in her guild, General Huo was the one who had the most pretty costu and advanced armor and weapons.

Initially, the reason General Huo was accepted into their guild was because of this reason.

Because he did not mind spending his money, the guild would often ask him to help them increase their buff during the guild war.

Song Xing Xing read his mail and saw that the man wanted her help to defeat a boss. At the thought that she had never done this mission, Song Xing Xing wanted to agree. She clicked the encyclopedia to check on this boss and agreed to et General Huo at the town center in five minutes.

Once she had gathered her crops and began to plant new seeds, Song Xing Xing went over to find General Huo. The man stood near the fountain doing so strange dance. The mont Song Xing Xing stopped in front of him, the man in that flashy armor stopped doing his dance and waved at her.

General Huo: Little star, you're here.

Song Xing Xing decided to ignore his words.

Not Your Little Star: Are we going just the two of us?"

General Huo: Mmm… Grasshopper said he will co over in a while. We're going to need a magician to defeat the boss.

While waiting for Grasshopper to show up, Song Xing Xing opened a stall and tried to sell so materials. They were in the town center where there would be a lot of players gathering around. Opening a stall at this place would make it easier for her to get rid of things she did not need in her inventory.

In less than two minutes, the items were sold out and she began to replenish her stock.

After waiting for five minutes, Grasshopper finally appeared. The three of them exchanged a few words before they joined General Huo's team and headed to the next town together.

In a short ti, the three of them entered the battlefield together. Because Song Xing Xing's character was a healer/archer, she mostly stayed a distance away, supporting her fellow teammate while shooting arrows at the minor monsters at the sa ti.

In a few minutes, the three of them completed the mission and gained a few rare items. Song Xing Xing saw that she had risen one level and was happy.

General Huo: Guild mbers! Thank you for your help.

Grasshopper did not answer and instead, choose to quietly leave the party and logged off.

General Huo: Little star, where are you going next? How about accompanying on another mission?

Song Xing Xing glanced at the clock and noticed that her takeout guy was going to show up with her food soon.

After rejecting General Huo's invitation, Song Xing Xing logged out of the ga and waited for her food to arrive.

Fortunately, she did not have to wait for too long.

Song Xing Xing opened her takeaway box and turned on the television. As she began to eat her food, the television was showing the news of actress Feng Miao Miao with a rich guy.

She was about to change the channel when Song Xing Xing realized that the man on the TV looked a little familiar.

Her mouth dropped when she realized that this was the sa man who had witnessed her embarrassing mont a few days ago!
