You're My Only Star Chapter 409 - To The Hospital

Xia Yu sat in the passenger's seat and couldn't figure out what was going on with her.

Just a few minutes ago, she was still arguing with her mother and brother about money. Sohow, she had run into Huo Yun Chen and she was dragged to sit in his car.

She wanted to lean on the seat to ease up a little bit however, as she recalled her bloodied head, Xia Yu refrained from moving too much. She sat up straight as a pole.

Xia Yu glanced at the man sitting in the driver's seat and realized that she shouldn't agree to follow this man.

Why... was she sitting in his car?

Wait. She realized that there was another important question.

"Where are you taking ?"

Huo Yun Chen glanced at her and spoke. "The hospital. You're injured."

Xia Yu's face turned paler. "No. I don't need to go to the hospital. I'm fine."

"Your head is bleeding and you said you're fine?"

"I can treat this injury myself."

"The bleeding is on the back of your head. Miss Xia, are you telling that you can look at this injury?" Huo Yun Chen narrowed his eyes at her. "I thought you're a nurse. You should know that an injury on the head is no joke."

Xia Yu pursed her lips into a thin line.

Of course, she knew all this. It was not as if she was unwilling to go to the hospital. However, going to the hospital with him made her feel awkward.

Why was this top celebrity sending her to the hospital? If his fans knew about this, wouldn't they beat her to death?

"Don't be stubborn," Huo Yun Chen spoke, noticing the unwillingness from Xia Yu's face. "What if you got a concussion?"

Before she could co out with a reason to refute him, Xia Yu realized that they have arrived at the hospital. Huo Yun Chen parked his vehicle in a parking spot, walked around the car, and helped her with the door.

"Co out."

Xia Yu raised her head to look at him. The sunlight ca from behind him as he moved a little to the right, the light made him look as if he was an ethereal being.

She always knew that he was a very good-looking person. But now that she was watching him closely like this, her heartbeat started to beat furiously.

"Are you coming out or not?"

Xia Yu contemplated for a few seconds. She swallowed and ca out. Then, she realized that Huo Yun Chen was following her from behind. "What are you doing? Are you... coming with ?"

"Otherwise, what should I do if you fainted before you see the doctor," Huo Yun Chen said. "Since I was the one who brought you here, of course, I will have to be responsible for you."

Xia Yu watched as he led her ahead in panic. "Wait." She grabbed the man's arms and retracted her hand imdiately when he stopped.

"What?"

"They might recognize you."

Huo Yun Chen turned so that he was facing her properly.

Xia Yu t her gaze and as seconds passed, she could feel as if his gaze was burning her. "W-what are you doing? Why are you looking at like that?

"Nurse Xia, I have a question for you." He closed in and narrowed his eyes. "How did you recognize when I am wearing a disguise like this?"

Her mouth opened and closed for a few seconds as she tried to think of an excuse. She let out a chuckle and spoke, "Your disguise isn't that great. It wasn't that hard to recognize you."

"I can walk around dressed like this in the market and have no one recognize ," Huo Yun Chen said. "My manager could not recognize even if I am dressed like this."

"Could it be that..."

"Of course, I could recognize you," Xia Yu spoke quickly. "The last ti you were admitted to the hospital, I was the nurse in charge of you. I have to see you every day. It's not so strange that I could recognize you afterward."

Huo Yun Chen could not help but think that Xia Yu was hiding sothing from him. However, he could not figure out what it was.

Xia Yu could no longer bear the man's piercing gaze. She began to fear that if she had to spend a longer ti with him like this, Huo Yun Chen might be able to find out her secret.

"My head is hurting." Xia Yu whispered, hoping to divert his attention.

Huo Yun Chen snapped out of his trance and led her to the hospital.

Xia Yu scanned around her surrounding for fear that soone might recognize this big celebrity. Her gaze fell on the ergency exit in the east wing and decided that she would pull him over there if soone could recognize him.

However, Xia Yu queued up, registered, and waited for the doctor to call out her na. The doctor checked her head, cleaned up her wound, and reminded Huo Yun Chen to look after her. Then, they went out again to wait for the dicine.

All those ti, there were a lot of people who walked back and forth in front of Huo Yun Chen. However, no one seed to recognize him.

Xia Yu glanced at the man beside her and examined the way he was dressed up again.

Everything about him was different. The air around him was different than usual well.

Perhaps if she has not been following him from the beginning of his career, she might not be able to recognize him on the street as well.

This might be the reason Huo Yun Chen was starting to doubt her when she had imdiately recognized her earlier.

Xia Yu made a reminder to herself to be more careful when she was around him.

The pharmacist called her na and Xia Yu left after getting her dicine. When she turned around, Huo Yun Chen was still waiting for her.

"Where are you off to?" Huo Yun Chen asked. "Should I send you back to your ho?"

Xia Yu began to realize sothing. "How did you..."

Her gaze on him turned a little strange. "What were you doing at that place in the first place."

Huo Yun Chen put his both hands into his pocket and lowered his gaze. "I was looking for you."

"Why?"

"I wanted to thank you for what you have done for . I went to the hospital and your colleagues said you have resigned. I investigated around and found out your address," Huo Yun Chen said.

He could not tell Xia Yu that it was Song Xing Xing who gave her address to him.

"You don't have to thank ," Xia Yu said. "It was because of that soone managed to take advantage to ruin your reputation.. I don't like to owe people things."
