The more she looked at the ring on her finger, Song Xing Xing thought that she was unable to stop smiling.
Lu Xun had proposed and she had said yes. Just thinking about that mont in that firefly field made her feel a little giddy again. Song Xing Xing felt as if she was bursting with happiness.
"Is it pretty?" Lu Xun asked upon noticing how the girl has been staring at the ring for a long ti.
"Un." Song Xing Xing nodded. "It's very pretty."
Her man had good taste and she was very satisfied. The ring might have a simple design but Song Xing Xing could tell that it should be expensive.
"Are you happy?"
Hearing this question, Song Xing Xing finally tore her gaze away from the ring and turned to look at him. She stood on tiptoed and pecked at the corner of his lips. "Very happy."
Her smiling face was very infectious and Lu Xun found that he could not stop smiling as well.
He has been planning to propose ever since their last visit to Y City. Because of his sudden decision, Lu Xun has been busy making a lot of preparation. Fortunately, the girl was happy with his arrangent and had agreed to marry him.
As they arrived at the garden where the fairy lights were lit up, Song Xing Xing halted and requested her phone from Lu Xun.
"Let's take a few pictures together."
Lu Xun thought that it was a great idea and naturally had no objection. With her skills, Song Xing Xing snapped a few pictures of them together while showing off her ring.
She wanted to post the picture to her social circle but not many of them knew that she was dating Lu Xun. If she posted the pictures, her friends would surely have a shock.
It was better to wait.
Tomorrow, she should tell her mother about this news first. Song Xing Xing wondered how would her parents react upon learning this news.
They should be surprised, right?
The phone in her hand continued to buzz. Song Xing Xing glanced at the notifications before she tucked her phone into Lu Xun's pocket again.
"You don't need to look at your ssages?" Lu Xun asked.
"They are mostly birthday wishes from friends. I'll look at them and reply to them tomorrow." Song Xing Xing held his arm tightly and noticed the slight frown on his face. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." Lu Xun tried to ignore the slight pain in his legs.
His Xing Xing had this habit where she liked to glomp into him. Previously, he was still kneeling when she suddenly pulled that stunt. Fortunately, his stance was stable enough to hold her, or else, she might knock him to the ground.
It was at this ti that he started to feel the slight sore on his calf.
It was not as if he wanted to complain. He rather like how she would often greet him like this. Lu Xun could tell that she was excited every ti she saw him.
He wrapped his arms around her shoulder, kissed her temple, and led her back to her room.
However, as they arrived in front of her room, soone does not seem as if she was willing to be apart from him.
His little kitten was holding his left arm and swaying it slowly. Her head lowered and she did not say anything. She had not touched a glass of alcohol but it seed as if she was a little tipsy.
Lu Xun looked at the girl and sighed helplessly. He stretched his hand and patted her on the head. "It's getting late. You should go to bed."
Ti has passed as the two of them have been walking around the lake earlier. A while ago, Lu Xun had checked the ti and saw that it was nearly two in the morning.
Song Xing Xing finally raised her head to look at him. Her eyes were bright and lively. "I don't think I can sleep tonight."
"Why not?"
"Too much excitent."
Lu Xun laughed. Seeing her expression at this ti made him happy. He liked the way she look at him. Her feelings could be clearly seen through her eyes. Looking into them let him know just how much she liked him.
"In the morning, I'll take you around for a boat ride, alright?" Lu Xun said. His voice sounded as if he was coaxing her to sleep and wake up early.
Tomorrow would be their last day in D Town. He wanted to go on sightseeing with her before they would return to Capital City.
Song Xing Xing pursed her lips into a thin line as if pondering sothing. "Can I stay with you tonight?"
His body froze. Lu Xun was sure that his ears were playing tricks on him. However, eting her inquiring gaze, he knew that he had heard those words.
Song Xing Xing grew flustered when he did not answer. "I don't an anything. Just accompany to sleep, alright?"
His eyes turned a shade darker and his throat bobbed. After a while, Lu Xun finally nodded.

Song Xing Xing stood in front of the large mirror in the bathroom, wondering if she has been too bold when she had invited Lu Xun into her room.
When she had asked, Song Xing Xing was simply unwilling to be part with him so early. She was overwheld with what had happened a while ago and wanted to spend a lot more ti with him.
Now that the man was in her bedroom, she was starting to realize that perhaps she has been a little hasty.
He... wouldn't think that she was an unrestrained person, right?
Song Xing Xing splashed the cold water on her face to clear her mind.
Knowing that Lu Xun was waiting for her outside, Song Xing Xing quickly patted her face dry. After a while, she walked out of the bathroom and found that Lu Xun was sitting at the edge of her bed, looking at his phone.
The mont he heard her movent, Lu Xun lifted his head to look at her. His lips curled into a smile and he waved for her to co closer.
Song Xing Xing clenched her hand into her pajama before she walked over. She slid under the quilt and watched him do the sa.
Her heartbeat accelerated as he ca closer. Her eyes subconsciously shut.
Lu Xun heaved a sigh. He pecked at her forehead and hugged her tightly, burying her head in his chest.. "Sleep."
