As she ate her food, Song Xing Xing tried to understand their relationship. It turned out that Li Qin Yao's husband was a good friend of her boss. The two of them were eting to discuss a few things before the girls showed up to join them for lunch.

It was a small world. She was not expecting that their relationship would be like this. Perhaps it was because of this relation that her boss had agreed to keep her secret.

While eavesdropping on the other's conversation for a while, Song Xing Xing heard that President Lu Xun would be spending his New Year in Y City with his friend as his family was in another country.

Song Xing Xing ate her lunch silently, feeling that having lunch with her boss felt a little strange. She could not help but to send a few glances at him.

Feeling the girl's eyes on him, Lu Xun raised his head and coincidentally t her gaze. His brow shot up when he saw that the girl had quickly looked away to her phone.

The group left the restaurant after their lunch ended.

Lu Xun walked over to the entrance door and halted when he saw a familiar person. His expression changed and he tried to look away before that person would notice him.

However, that person still noticed him and walked over to greet him.

"Lu Xun, Zhang Yu Han, I did not expect to run into you guys here."

Zhang Yu Han glanced at his friend and knew that he did not want to say a word to his ex-girlfriend. "Shi An Na. It has been a long ti." Zhang Yu Han spoke. They were classmates in university and he did not want to make things awkward with the people around them. Although he was not close to her in class, Zhang Yu Han would often et her every ti Lu Xun dragged her to join their activities.

Shi An Na stared at Lu Xun for a while and her expression paled when she saw that the man had no intention to speak a word to her. Her lips curled into a bitter smile. It was not that she could not understand the man's cold treatnt towards her.

Back then, it was her who had hurt him and suggested for them to break up.

He had begged her to stay, but she was determined to break up.

In the end…

"I heard that you are returning to this country," Zhang Yu Han continued to speak as his friend keeping mum. They were all from the sa university and he did not want to make the situation more awkward.

"Mhm… I'm planning to return for good. After all, my family is all here." Shi An Na tried to give Lu Xun a few hints but was disappointed to see that the man's expression remained the sa.

After a brief hesitation, Shi An Na gathered her courage again. "Lu Xun, I—"

Her words were left unfinished. Shi An Na t with Lu Xun's terrifying gaze and instinctively took a step back. She had known him for years and this was the first ti that he had shot such a look at her.

"Miss Shi, I have nothing to say to you," Lu Xun said.

Suddenly, her courage disappeared and Shi An Na could not mutter her apology.

Lu Xun turned to his friend, patted at his shoulder, and whispered sothing. He did not want to et Shi An Na and had nothing to say to her. Looking at her would only make him angry. Therefore, Lu Xun decided to leave.

"Now, excuse ."

As he turned around to leave, Lu Xun noticed that the girl, Song Xing Xing was watching him with a curious gaze. Lu Xun walked over to Song Xing Xing and stretched out his arms at her. "Miss Song, let help you with your stuff."

Song Xing Xing was enjoying the show when Lu Xun suddenly turned to her. The mont she saw the woman appeared and her boss was giving her a strange look, Song Xing Xing could sense that there would be a good drama.

If she had a bag of popcorn, she would sit there and enjoy the show.

One look at the situation, Song Xing Xing was able to tell that the woman had feelings for her boss. However, the way that woman was looking at him contained a trace of guilt.

Perhaps, she has been watching too much drama but Song Xing Xing thought that this situation was a bit interesting. After learning that Lu Xun was her boss, Song Xing Xing had begun to investigate a little bit about him through the internet.

She knew that he was rumored with a few actresses and models. She had also heard the news that President Lu Xun was soone who despised won. Looking at the way this man was treating the woman coldly, Song Xing Xing began to believe that the rumors were true.

Before she could figure out what was going on and enjoyed this drama, Lu Xun had turned to look at her.

She sensed the woman's gaze on her and panicked at the thought that she might be dragged into this show.

Song Xing Xing really wanted to explain that she had no relation with President Lu Xun, but realized that the situation would only get awkward if she said anything.

Before she could co to her senses, Lu Xun had already taken the shopping bags from her hands. Without saying anything, the man walked out of the restaurant.

"Xing Xing."

Song Xing Xing turned when her sister-in-law nudged her at her waist. "Huh?"

"Co on. Let's go."

With a still confused mind, Song Xing Xing let Han Yue Xiu pull her out of the restaurant and the two followed Lu Xun closely.

His steps halted as they walked farther from the restaurant. Lu Xun turned around again and saw that there were two won behind him.

"Sorry for the inconvenience," Lu Xun apologized once he saw that Shi An Na had not co out with him.

"It's fine. Last ti, you have helped us with Xing Xing's matter." Han Yue Xiu flashed a smile. "We don't know what happened, but we are glad to help you whenever we can."

A polite smile appeared on his face. "Then, let send you over to your car."

Han Yue Xiu found no reason to reject his offer and quickly agreed.
