The next morning after breakfast, Song Xing Xing went out shopping with her mother. As she was going to attend her friend's engagent party, Song Xing Xing wanted to ask her mother's advice to buy a gift.
Initially, Song Wei wanted to co along with them. Even though he might have to act as the bag carrier, Song Wei did not mind it. All he knew was that he could not leave his sister alone now that she had set her mind on soone.
However, the mont he heard that the girls were planning to visit the undergarnt boutique, he changed his mind and decided to stay ho instead.
Song Xing Xing flashed a smile in triumph and followed her mother out.
Anyway, she was determined to speak to her mother about her new relationship. With her brother around, how can she speak freely?
The two went out to the mall and picked up a suitable gift for her friend. Then, they went around from shop to shop to buy new clothes and such. By lunch hour, their hands were full of shopping bags from many well-known brands.
They sent over the bags to the car before they decided to head to the restaurant to have sothing to eat together.
Song Xing Xing held the nu in her hand but could not decide what she wanted to eat for a long ti. At this ti, she was worried about how she was going to break the news to her mother.
Seeing that her daughter was still staring at the nu and could not decide what she was going to have, Ye Ling Feng patted her daughter's arms. "Still can't decide what you're going to have? Don't just eat seafood. Xing Xing, you need to have a balanced diet as well."
Song Xing Xing snapped out of her trance and flashed an anxious smile. "Then... mom, you help to choose."
Ye Ling Feng looked at her daughter before she turned to the server and ordered a few dishes for the two of them. Although she had reminded her daughter to eat less seafood, in the end, Ye Ling Feng still ordered so prawn dishes that her daughter loved so much.
After the waiter left, the mother and daughter continued to discuss their shopping plan.

The waiter returned with their drink orders.
Ye Ling Feng took a sip at the juice and spoke, "That's right. Your father told that in a few weeks, your eldest uncle was going to move to Capital City. It seed that he was promoted and soone had recomnded him for the position."
Hearing this news, Song Xing Xing recalled that her eldest uncle has been visiting the main residence to discuss a few matters with her grandfather.
It turned out that her eldest uncle will soon move to Capital City as well...
"Now that your uncle is moving to Capital City, I will be more at ease. At least, there will be soone who can look after you."
"Why do you always worry about ? Aren't I'm an adult?"
Ye Ling Feng gave her daughter a look over. "You... from the very beginning we ca out, your mind has been preoccupied with sothing else. Just now, you had almost run into a wall. How can I not worry about you?"
Song Xing Xing lowered her head and smiled shyly.
"Quickly, tell what is going on."
"Ah?"
"Didn't you ask to accompany you to shop because you have sothing to say to ?"
Song Xing Xing stared at her mother in surprise. "Mom, how did you know?"
"It's not very hard to guess." Ye Ling Feng smiled. "When you did not let Song Wei co with us, I could guess a little bit. Otherwise, how could you reject having soone carry your shopping bags for free? Last ti, didn't you trick Song Wei to enter the undergarnt boutique and he got so mad at you?"
Song Xing Xing thought that her mother was very good at observing things. In the past, she would trick Song Wei to enter the won's undergarnt shop just to watch as his face turned red with embarrassnt.

Song Xing Xing watched her mother in disbelief. Of all things, why would she think that she was planning to quit her job?

Seeing how her daughter was acting carefully was slowly making her worried. Various thoughts ca to her mind and each of them was scaring her.
At this ti, the server ca over to deliver their dishes.
Ye Ling Feng stared at the waiter with a sharp gaze and had almost scared the waiter who only ca to do his job. She was anxious about the matter that her daughter was going to tell her but this waiter had chosen this ti to appear.
Once the waiter had walked away, Ye Ling Feng turned to her daughter again. "What is it?"
"Mom, you rember the last ti I talked about that person?" Song Xing Xing spoke in almost a whisper. Her face turned a little red and she wished to hide in a hole instead of having this conversation with her mother.
This was the first ti that she had been in a relationship and Song Xing Xing did not know how to break the news to her mother. She was actually worried about her mother's reaction once she told her the truth.
"What person?"
"That person that I liked."
Ye Ling Feng was still thinking that her daughter was going to drop bad news. Therefore, when she heard that her daughter ntioned the person she liked, Ye Ling Feng was a little dumbfounded. It took her a few seconds to calm down and organize her thoughts. Once she figure out what did her daughter had told her, Ye Ling Feng beca anxious and excited at the sa ti.
Judging from the look on her daughter's face, she should be telling her good news, right?
Ye Ling Feng held her daughter's hand and started to plan Song Xing Xing's wedding in her mind.
"There's progress?"
"Mhm." Song Xing Xing nodded.
Ye Ling Feng could already guess that her daughter was now in a relationship. "Who is it? Are you not going to tell his na?"
She took a deep breath and spoke. "Actually... Mom, you know him too."
Ye Ling Feng blinked as she tried to guess who is that person.
"It's Lu Xun."
