"What I am tired of..."

"Yes, yes?? Tell us ninth~"

"... I am tired of not solving this distance I have been keeping with his highness." — Not very sure of them being the right ones to share this, I sighed the motive. Making this conversation more of a gamble that I was pretty sure would be a loss for given the hard-headed ways of the fairies.

"Distance??"

"With His Highness???"

"Yes... We used to be much more... affectionate with each other but now... today especially we barely even et each other’s gaze. We were silent the whole ti... only Khibi was making it less painful of a silence."

"Is this highness the ninth talks about that handso big man? The one we first t her with, Estelle???"

"I think it is Erna..."

"Yes. He is who I refer to as his highness." — I told the two ignorantly innocent fairies while also realising this conversation would be more of a headache than a solution. — ’This was a bad idea.’

Now tired of even bringing this up to the two fairies I held my head with one hand, knowing this would be more troubleso than helpful if I am not careful with what I say.

"Oh~ so his highness is the handso man with Fenrir’s lust~~!"

"Fenrir’s lust! Fenrir’s huge lust! Hehehe~"

"Huh? Uhm... I suppose he is, yes." — I answered, surprised by how they recognised him.

"And so?"

"Hm? What do you an by ’and so’? That is all... I am tired of this awkward situation we have co to experience. There are so things that made it this way but... anyway, it is complicated."

"Yes, ninth, Estelle and Erna know."

"We know that! Yes, we know!"

"What we want to know is what does the ninth wants to do now~"

"Being tired is bad right Erna?"

"Right, right, Estelle~~ fufufufu~" — They got together, giggling while conversing joyfully with .

"... What do I want to do? Of course I would like to solve it..."

"How?" — The two, intensely interested flew fast to get right in front of my eyes. Asking with anticipation for what the answer could be. — "Tell us how, Ninth~~"

"Tell us, tell us!!"

"Er..... Talking to him of course—"

"Now?!"

"Right now, Ninth?!"

"Uh, what is it with the two of you?? I would love to do it right now but there is no way I—"

"Hehehehe!! Estelle!! Estelle!!"

"Erna, Erna!! Finally, we can tell the secret to the ninth! Tehehehehe~~!" — Dancing in the air, clapping their hands together, the two made recall the pretty tear’s specks before it transford into a bracelet. Although I could not admire the sight as the two seed to be scheming sothing dangerous without my knowledge.

"Secret??? What are the two of you talking about? Is this so kind of jest you two are playing?"

"We have been working very hard Ninth! Us and the other fairies! No jest this is!!"

"We used to see how the handso man with Fenrir’s lust fell outside your chambers to visit you at night but he stopped for a reason we ignore..."

"Maybe because the ninth left..."

"Us fairies were curious... very curious!! We thought that maybe you got caught and so at night we saw you missing the man many tis."

"!? Y-you guys saw that??"

"We saw everything! We always watch over the chosen’s chambers!!"

’Oh gosh... how embarrassing...’ — I now wanted to hide, knowing such a sight would not be pardoned if it were soone else who witnessed it.

"Therefore! Over here, Ninth!!" — The two proud fairies said, flying to the column on the other side of my chambers... opening a path I never knew was there or perhaps was new in itself. — "We searched and searched!"

"We crafted and crafted!!" — Standing in front of it I looked at it speechless. — "We prepared for the ninth’s sadness to be told to us so we could give this gift to the ninth!!"

"..... A gift?? A passageway is your gift!???"

"Yes!!" — Happy, both of them yelled. — "At the end of it the handso man’s chambers are! Now the ninth’s wish to talk with the man called his highness can be fulfilled!!

"..."

"We fairies have done well haven’t we, ninth! Tehehehe~"

"Praise we deserve!! Good fairies we are!!"

"..."

"Hm? Ninth?"

’... I really was not expecting this.’ — Too shocked to speak, I thought. Wondering how it was that this was the solution they ca to have for my missing him in the first place.

Nonetheless... the innocence was charming and my need for clarity was strong.

"Do I only have to follow the path?"

"Yeees~ with Dearest Aenean’s tear, a light will flare up. At the end, once you reach it, the passage to the man’s chambers will open!"

"Alright..."

"Ah! Also! Also! Fufufufu~" — Erna, stopping before I entered, chuckled with so mischievous shyness. Telling quite a useful fact after giving a light touch to Alis Abyssi. — "The man is able to track the Ninth. Skills he has! Strong ones at that! Hide thee aura, Ninth! A surprise this must be!"

"Oh... thank you, Erna, Estelle, this will be helpful... I will be right back."

Between shy giggles, they sent off. Just as they told , light was there to guide as I moved in the narrow new passage. I was certainly nervous, and yet I still intruded into Zeleskiaz’s chambers to at least try this out.

Darker than the night... only one window had its curtains open. No one was there to welco my intrusion and so, after I decided to risk it, I wandered around the unknown chambers. Touching the furniture as I could not see clearly, I sohow understood where to walk, inhaling the manly scent of the crown prince that felt almost nostalgic to calm myself down.

’This is where he sleeps...’ — I thought once I reached his mattress. Seating on its edge to look around a bit more in the obscurity. Even letting my curiosity win while opening drawers I should not be peeking at.

’He does not have many things... a dagger... water... hm? Are these letters??... I can’t see what it says...’

*Clank*

’!?!? Oh sh*t!!’ — At the sound of the doorknob, I closed everything and threw myself to the floor. Lying next to the mattress, hiding quite horribly while I heard the steps of soone entering. — ’Ugh! Why am I hiding??? I’m here to talk with him!! This will only make it worse!!!’

*BANG!!*

’?! What in the... is he mad?’

"Bloody hell..." — I heard him murmur, clearly annoyed while I also heard him sit and fall flat on his mattress. Releasing such a deep sigh I wondered if it was actually a good idea to have co. — "I’m sick of this..."

’Uff... m-maybe, I should go and co back another day...’ — I closed my eyes accepting defeat, ready to think of a way to escape but...

"Sharing ti with her like this is annoying." — My heart stopped when I heard him. — "I’m sick of it... should have never agreed to anything... all because she’s the Ninth... I shouldn’t have... Tsk! Even the courtship is annoying, cursed be all..."
