In the Nine Nether, there are many enclaves held by the Demon Sects.
Not far from Buting Mountain, there is a peculiar place called Weixu Mountain.
Here, there are mountains, peaks, ridges, caves, and streams. Yet, the mountains bear no grass, the peaks do not touch the sky, the ridges are unwalked by travelers, the caves hold no clouds, and the streams flow with no water.
Thus, it is a place rife with ghosts, demons, and malevolent spirits.
At the shore, wraiths roam freely, and beneath the ridges, gods and demons lurk.
One such location inside is called the 'Demon Palace,' rumored to be the stronghold of a Demon Sect, housing extrely formidable characters. Even fellow demons would not dare to approach recklessly.
On this day.
A small-frad, skeletal, gaunt old man erged from the gloom of the Yin Wind and black fog.
The Yin Wind whispered, carrying the smoke from the divine weapons; the dense black fog was the stealthy breath sprayed from the hidden.
The old man, dressed in a pristine deep yellow hemp robe with bare feet, approached the outside of the Demon Palace.
"Kuzhu of Great Wilderness Mountain's Wuzhong Ridge has co to pay respects to the Naked Sect Master."
The visitor was no ordinary person; it was indeed one of the Great Wilderness Two Elders, 'Elder Kuzhu.' Instead of quietly cultivating in the Great Wilderness Mountain, he had astonishingly ventured to the Demon Palace of Weixu Mountain in the Nine Nether—a truly bizarre matter.
As his words fell.
The gates of the Demon Palace swung open.
"Thank you, Sect Master."
Elder Kuzhu expressed his gratitude and strode inside.
The Demon Palace was hidden within a cave.
The cave harbored wild ghosts, and the bottom of the stream concealed evil spirits.
Thorns concealed ghastly figures, and the rocky cliffs shrouded malevolent demons. No sounds of beasts or birds were heard by the ears—only sights of ghosts and demons t the eyes.
Truly a den of demons and monsters.
Any mortal who entered would probably be frightened out of their wits on the spot.
Elder Kuzhu found this not unusual and proceeded into the cave, where he saw an ugly old crone sitting in a high place. She was no taller than four feet, emaciated and dry, almost resembling a zombie. Her head was shaped like a dove, her face black as ink, her green eyes faintly emitting a fierce light.
Utterly ghastly.
Elder Kuzhu dared not stare and stated his purpose: "Elder Kuzhu has co specifically to request the Sect Master's supre treasure 'Shadow Tracking Crystal Plate' to investigate the whereabouts of a valuable item."
In terms of tracking and tracing abilities, Elder Kuzhu's own 'Crystal Ball' was also excellent. However, it paled in comparison to the 'Shadow Tracking Crystal Plate' held by Jiupan Po, the Naked Sect Master, here.
This Sect Master was famously skilled in Innate Divine Number, capable of foreseeing events.
Her supre treasure 'Shadow Tracking Crystal Plate' was marvelously indescribable, capable of spying on the trajectories of people and objects.
Elder Kuzhu suspected that Lu Yu's old monster had hidden secrets in 'Little Shu Mountain Realm,' Thus, seizing the opportunity while Daoist Woman was busy dealing with the powerful beings from Taoshan and the other Four Sects, he deliberately visited the Naked Demon Palace first.
"Kuzhu Old Monster, you know my rules."
"Old crone doesn't need your supre treasure 'Xun Spirit Pearl'. Just bring a cluster of 'Qiantian Spirit Fire' and three 'Taiyi Green Spirit Arrows', and isn't it easy for to divine the whereabouts of the treasure?"
Jiupan Po's voice was hoarse.
Elder Kuzhu ca to her directly, and she was not lenient at all. She knew well that the old monster possessed a 'Crystal Ball,' although not comparable to the 'Shadow Tracking Crystal Plate,' it was enough for ordinary use.
His presence this ti must be for an extraordinary treasure.
Not exploiting this opportunity to make a hefty profit would be a missed chance in the future.
"Qiantian Spirit Fire."
"Taiyi Green Spirit Arrows."
Elder Kuzhu's face twitched, anguish inside him.
This 'Qiantian Spirit Fire' was not naturally ford; it was created through secret techniques after imnse and painstaking efforts. It was of remarkable use, able to restrain even the primordial spirits of Earth and Heavenly Immortals.
Absolutely formidable.
And the 'Taiyi Green Spirit Arrows' were even more extraordinary.
These were murderous supre treasures, passed down among immortals, specifically harming primordial spirits and incomparable to other magical treasures; they could not be retrieved once used. Their power was peerless, so even Heavenly Immortals had to be extrely cautious, and any carelessness could damage their primordial spirits. When used on Earth Immortals, survival was almost impossible.
The difficulty and cost of refining exceeded that of the 'Qiantian Spirit Fire.'
Jiupan Po asking for three arrows outright was indeed heart-wrenching.
"Just hoping there truly is a supre treasure in Little Shu Mountain Realm!"
Though Elder Kuzhu was pained, since he had co, he was ntally prepared. He was capable of refining both the Qiantian Spirit Fire and Taiyi Green Spirit Arrows again himself—it would rely consu so treasures and energy.
But supre treasures were hard to find.
"The old Daoist Woman is so anxious about 'Little Shu Mountain Realm', there must be sothing unusual!"
The more Elder Kuzhu thought about it, the more certain he beca. Without hesitation, he clenched his teeth and spat out a cluster of Spirit Fla from his mouth, and also presented the three Taiyi Green Spirit Arrows.
"Good."
Only then did Jiupan Po nod.
She had Elder Kuzhu describe the shape of the treasure, reached out for a crystal disk, and continuously channeled her mana to calculate without pause.
After about half an hour.
Jiupan Po wiped an imagined bead of sweat from her forehead.
With a wave of her hand, an image appeared on the crystal plate—
It depicted the battle lines of two armies in a mortal kingdom. The aura was like a dragon, the Evil Qi like smoke.
"Nanhua Realm!"
"Thank you, Sect Master."
Elder Kuzhu recognized the place and hurriedly thanked Jiupan Po.
She nodded slightly, reached into the crystal plate, and took out a crystal token, handing it to Elder Kuzhu: "With this crystal token, unless unforeseen circumstances occur, the position of this treasure can be locked at any ti within a hundred years."
Elder Kuzhu was imdiately overjoyed upon hearing this, hurriedly took the crystal token, and rushed to take his leave.
After Elder Kuzhu left.
A sly expression surfaced on Jiupan Po's face: "First there were the Sahara Sect Leader and the Red-haired Old Ghost, and now Kuzhu Old Monster, this young fellow indeed seems to be in high demand."
The Naked Sect Master muttered to herself.
With a wave of her hand, the image of a young Daoist appeared in the Shadow Tracking Crystal Plate.
"It's been a long ti since there was any movent."
"Let's go see what excitent is stirring."
Jiupan Po stood up, about to depart, when suddenly her expression shifted, her face assuming an even stranger aspect. "What curious timing," she murmured.
Then she sat down again.
From outside, soone called out—
"Lu Yu from the South Star Field of the Great Wilderness Mountain has co to visit the Naked Sect Master!"
A blink in the world of mortals.
Another decade passes.
Including thirty years within the Little Shu Mountain Realm, Lu Qingfeng had been in the Nanhua Realm for a total of fifty years.
Since he had slain the Shenxiao Sect Leader, shattered Juyong Pass ten years ago, the iron cavalry of Great Wu advanced unstoppably, capturing twelve counties, and approached the capital of Da ng.
The Da ng Royal Family completely lost control over the realm.
Ninety-nine counties, with twenty-one seized by the north's Great Wu and seventeen by the south's Da Hao. Smaller nations on the east and west took advantage of the chaos to invade, scraping off several more counties. Even within the nation, rebellion was rampant, with traitors claiming kingship and military officials establishing independent rule.
For a ti,
Da ng was utterly fractured.
No longer strong.
Seeing the dire situation, the Shenxiao Sect hastily disbanded, its mbers scattering into various small nations.
Yet, the newly appointed Sect Leader, Zheng Yuan Daoist, was intercepted and killed by Lu Qingfeng.
Since then, the Shenxiao Sect lacked any Pure Yang figures and declined to a second-rate Daoist sect.
Within the Human Dao Law Domain,
The scene shifted to Changqing Temple and Maoshan Dao being the leading sects.
Changqing Temple rose powerfully, causing Maoshan Dao to be wary. They paused their aggression, preferring to watch as two tigers fought, yet the Shenxiao Sect collapsed first.
Facing Changqing Temple—
Or rather, facing the 'Qingjing Saint' behind Changqing Temple, even Jiyuan Daoist from Maoshan couldn't help feeling so trepidation—
They couldn't fight.
Nor could they hide.
It was truly troubleso.
Finally understanding the anguish Shenxiao Sect and Zhengqing Daoist suffered.
Lu Qingfeng paid it no mind.
This day,
He summoned the "Changqing Seven Sons."
Four arrived—Shouyang, Shouzhen, Shouyu, and Shoujing. Shouchun, Shougu, and Shousheng had died over the forty years.
The Fang Xian Dao was fraught with tribulations.
Although Cultivation was fast, entangled by the secular world, officialdom, and dynasties, karma and Tribulation Qi clung tightly. Despite Lu Qingfeng's protection, they were not spared from calamities and untily deaths.
Among the fortunate survivors, the four controlled the first Daoist gate of Great Wu, 'Changqing Temple,' commanding enormous power and endowed with great Spirit Qi. Their Dao ability already reached the Fifth-Order Yang God, deserving the title of Heavenly Master.
But compared to Zhengqing Daoist or Jiyuan Daoist at the Sixth Rank Pure Yang Immortal Master level, they were like horses chasing Wang Mountain, running unto death.
Whether such fate could be theirs, who could say?
Over these years,
Lu Qingfeng had intermittently taught his seven disciples nurous Daoist Skills. Now, about to leave and uncertain of his return, he summoned the four to pass on the complete versions of "Changqing Four Arts" and "Secret Technique Three Volus."
The forr detailed 'Artifact Refining,' 'Alchemy,' 'Talisman,' and 'Array'—four thods efficacious even at the level of Yang God and True Immortal, extrely valuable.
The latter recorded Seventy-two Lower Techniques, Thirty-six Middle-level Techniques, and Eighteen Upper Techniques.
From simple to complex.
The upper volu contained mostly Low-level and Middle-level techniques.
The middle volu comprised primarily High-level skills.
As for the lower volu, it naturally encompassed Super-level Techniques.
From low to high, ensuring continuity.
Lu Qingfeng had spent much effort to compile them successfully.
Though even the 'Eighteen Upper Techniques' were rely Super-level Daoist Skills without Divine Abilities, they were sufficiently effective within the Human Dao Law Domain and in a Changqing Temple without a Pure Yang Immortal Master.
As for the fundantal Great thod of Changqing Temple, the "Changqing Skill," Lu Qingfeng had already taught it in full.
After so calculations,
What initially was only capable of reaching the Yang God level had now been advanced by Lu Qingfeng to the Pure Yang Level, matching the thods of the Shenxiao Sect and Maoshan Dao.
Having granted the techniques,
Lu Qingfeng dismissed the four.
He looked outside the mansion and smiled, "Co in."
As his words fell,
A graceful figure walked in—a young woman, pure yet subtly enchanting, her face showing a pitiful, tearful expression that invoked compassion.
She knelt softly before Lu Qingfeng and cried, "The nation of Da ng has fallen, resentful Shenxiao Daoists and the whole court wish to kill . I beg the Pri Minister for rcy to save my life!"
Lu Qingfeng looked at the woman and couldn't help but laugh, "Don't be so pretentious. You played a big part in the chaos of Da ng. I have saved your life before and bestowed True Skills and Divine Powers upon you. Now that Da ng has fallen, we owe each other nothing. With your current Divine Powers, you can go anywhere in this vast world, so why co here to weep?"
Shaking his head,
Lu Qingfeng certainly recognized the woman before him.
When he had entered Lingnan, he had specifically saved a destitute fox demon along the way.
He taught her secret techniques that allowed her to absorb the fate and resentnt of a nation, fueling her Cultivation unafraid of Evil Qi, official Qi, or Dragon Qi. He also taught her 'Charming Technique,' 'Possession Technique,' and 'Concealing Breath Technique.' She possessed the newly entered imperial concubine of Da ng, leading Emperor ng into depravity.
Thus, Da ng fell into turmoil.
This Princess Consort Jiang beca the 'Demon Concubine,' reviled by millions. As an imperial concubine, protected by the fate of the dynasty and Emperor ng, the entire court and Shenxiao Daoists could not harm her.
Until today.
With Da ng shattered, this 'Demon Concubine' now lacked protective fortune and instead...
