919: Chapter 36 Lina’s Gratitude 919: Chapter 36 Lina’s Gratitude The morning sun penetrated the room through the gaps in the curtains, dancing playfully on Lina’s pale cheeks and her slightly fluttering eyes.

Under the stimulation of the sunlight, Lina woke up from a deep sleep, slowly sat up, opened her bleary eyes, shook her ssy silver hair, and stretched languidly.

Looking around, two giant dolls were still lying beside her.

The night before, at the strong insistence of the two little ones, the priestess girl had fallen asleep holding them.

As a result, the two small creatures had chattered and fussed for half the night, and only in the latter part of the night had a tired Lina managed to fall asleep.

Therefore, when she opened her eyes again, it was already morning.

However, the next mont, a shock wiped out any lingering sleepiness Lina had, as she jumped out of bed without caring that she was still barefoot and in her nightgown, her ivory-like feet pattering against the smooth floor as she ran towards the door.

She had discovered that, although the dolls were still on the bed, the stuffing inside them was gone, aning the two little creatures had run off sowhere.

The priestess girl could not imagine the chaos it would cause if two Upper Rank Undead appeared running wildly around the capital city of a country.

She did not want the mischief of the little ones to cause them any harm, whether physical or emotional.

However, Lina had only run halfway when she stopped; she had completely awakened from her groggy state and heard conversational voices coming from outside.

“You two little things, get the hell down!

I am a scorpion-tailed lion, and those are my wings, not your slide for playing,” the first voice that ca in was a loud, unfamiliar one, but Lina could guess who it was, “I’m warning you, I have killed more Undead in my ti than you two have ever seen people, you understand?

Don’t pull on my tail, you little wretches, I used to snack on creatures like you when I drank, a skull to crunch with a sip of wine, then a banshee with another sip, skulls are the tastiest, they crackle when bit.

Dammit, if you pull my fur again, I’ll eat you for real, agh, that’s why I hate Undead the most, I want to exterminate all the Undead in the world.”

Of course, along with the roaring voices, there were also the intermittent giggles of two little banshees, and two identical voices of young girls clapping and laughing provocatively, “Well done,” “Right, pull his tail,” “Hold onto his ear,” “Pluck his beard,” “Annie, hang onto his belly,” “Be careful, don’t let him pounce on you.”

Lina sighed helplessly, without even stepping outside, she could already imagine the chaotic scene before her—two little Undead provoking the old, weary scorpion-tailed lion with the encouragent of two Winged people.

However, the chaos from outside indicated that the three Demigods harbored no hostility towards the little ones; rather, their willingness to play with the small creatures showed that they were fond of Annie and Little Deer, otherwise, with the scorpion-tailed lion Dillie’s Demigod strength, he could have easily swept the little creatures aside without any trouble.

“Annie, Little Deer, co down,” Lina could imagine Catherine standing with her hands on her hips, a stern look on her face, “Stop bothering him, co back here, or you’ll have to copy lines tonight.”

“Don’t worry about it, let them play,” Pannis was surely lounging like a cat, “Look how happy they are playing, and look, that little lion is having fun too.”

“Idiot Kyle, are you blind again?

Which of your eyes sees enjoying myself, you ass,” the roar of the scorpion-tailed lion was piercing, making Lina frown, “And you call yourself a friend, asshole?

Instead of helping , you’re making things worse at a ti like this.

I should never have agreed to go to the forest with you.”

“Anyway, you already promised, and once you’ve promised, you’re not planning on backing out, are you?” Lina had just changed her clothes and was just pushing open the door when she saw Pannis awkwardly sprawled on a lounge chair inside the room, his body tattered but still teasing with a strange tone, “Maya, Tiya, look at this little lion, he actually wants to break his own promise.

What do you think, what does that make him…

uh, how do you say it?

Oh yeah, what kind of real man does that make him.”

“Exactly.” “To take back one’s own words.” “So untrustworthy.” “Simply a disgrace to scorpion-tailed lions.” “Your kin would cry if they heard about this.” “Yeah, they would definitely cry.”

“Damn it, they wouldn’t cry, no, I an, they wouldn’t know, also no, ah, damn it, I didn’t break my promise at all.” At that mont, Dillie maintained his size, lying down about the height of a person, overwheld by several people and sprawled on the ground, covering his head with his claws and pretending to be dead, while letting two little Undead climb all over him and play, a muffled voice ca from beneath his paws covering his head, “I can’t be bothered to talk to you guys, awoo.”

“Ah, Sister Lina is up.” The little Ghost floating on the scorpion-tailed lion noticed Lina coming out at once and along with Little Deer, they finally let go of the pretending-to-be-dead scorpion-tailed lion and rushed into Lina’s arms, “Sister Lina, Big Sister is already back.”

“How could you two run out like this?” Lina picked up the two children, one on each side, walking towards Catherine’s position and asking, “It’s dangerous if soone sees you, you’re not allowed to do this anymore, okay?”

“It was Brother Pannis who let us co out,” Annie explained, “This morning when they ca back, I peeked through the bedroom wall secretly to see who it was, then Brother Pannis found .

Knowing that Little Deer and I were already awake and bored, he agreed to let us run out like this.

Hee hee, we didn’t wake you because we snuck out from inside the clothes.”

“Don’t do it again in the future either.” Lina tapped the forehead of the little banshee and the little skeleton and put the little ones on the ground to send them back to the bedroom, “Go, go back and get dressed before coming out.”

“Okay fine,” the two little Undead said in a drawn-out, dissatisfied tone, glanced at each other, and burst out in giggles, holding hands and rattling as they ran back to the room.

Lina then tidied up her clothes and with a solemn expression, perford the highest courtesy of the church to the Winged people’s Light and Dark Twins, “Thank you both for the tip back in Angus Village.

It was with your guidance that I was able to achieve what I have now, thank you.” (To be continued.
