Amid the marshes, a wooden city rises on a small patch of firm ground. So houses on the outskirts stand on stilts, while the tall towers you spotted from afar belong to a wooden castle. You assu the ground wasn’t solid enough for heavier materials. A series of wooden walkways, sotis partially swallowed by the mud, leads to large bridges allowing access to the city.
This is Tririva, the city of the marshes, built not far from where the Sinuous River and the Long River rge, leaving only the latter to continue. Two other tributaries flow into it, and before continuing its course, TheLong River leaves behind a large quagmire.
