’She asleep.’ Kyle softly smiled, seeing Elise sound asleep in his arms. Looking at her, he couldn’t help but think she looked more cute when she slept.

[Are you sure?] Snow asked knowing what he ant to do.
"Of course. She reminded of sothing." Kyle softly said. Dark flas, were part of Kyle’s first demon skills he got from the system. It costs him 5 demon energy, for each dark fla he shot from his palm. Which was quite fair, considering how effective it was against humans.
But his battle, with those interdiate tier lizards made him realize sothing. The dark flas skill was highly effective against humans, because he had seen it first-hand back on earth. But not that much against beasts, well at least not the ones above interdiate tiers.
He consistently had to use his twin jade daggers and his brute strength, along with Vladimir’s help. And when fighting with kronox there wasn’t any effect at all, he relied solely on his blades and speed.
But it still wasn’t enough, his blade did little to no damage at all. Only when he transford to his demon state, did he have a chance at defeating kronox. Though it took a lot of grit and hardwork to defeat the giant crockdite, making Kyle realize sothing.
He was still weak! He’d thought his body had gotten a lot stronger, since he beca a demon. But he was living in a fantasy! Only when he’d faced opponents higher than him, did he realize his body was still no match for strong foes.
He was lacking in many aspects, there were no current equipnts on him like armour, weapons, etc. And going to his demon skills, there were lacking in many ways! He had only a few demon skills, but they weren’t strong like he’d expected and he couldn’t bla the system.
He’d been solely focusing on indulging in sexual activities to level up while back on earth, so his mind wasn’t propelled about his demon skills at all. It wasn’t too long when he arrived at vaanderwood, did he slowly start focusing on the other things apart from sex.
Sex was good not to ntion the least. It was what helped him in the first place to level up to 10, and turn him into a demon thus granting him his first set of demon skills. He loved this aspect as it was an easier way to level up, and the system rewarded him with points for it.
But as all things never lasts, levelling up with lust was gradually becoming harder, as the points he got were getting relatively low. Only when he overexerted himself performing all sort of sexual activities, would the system give him a lot of xxx points. He was in his comfort ho back on earth, but life hit him in the head as soon as he ca to vaanderwood.
He was slowly forgetting they were being chased by freaking demons, and the Lucifer himself. That he was so caught up, engrossed in sex with hot won. His lust skills were really helpful helping him in many ways to aquire beautiful won, but it was completely useless in battle.
If he were to face a beast foxman or other creatures, he’d have to rely on other things than his lust skills. His body still wasn’t that strong yet to handle damages and abilities thrown at him, so there was only one option.
He had to now focus on trying to level up the skills he could as soon as possible, so he could try to gain an advantage in a battle. And right now while he layed with Elise and chatted with snow in his mind, a part of his mind seed to have wondered elsewhere. When he first found Elise she was all wounded badly, and on the brink of life and death. He didn’t know her from Adam so it wasn’t his responsibility to take care of her, he could just easily left her to die. But sothing in him told him otherwise and he was grateful he saved her, as he’d now managed to aquire a new woman to his harem.
And not only that she was the next in line ruler of onwood, the kindred outside of vaanderwood. It was a win-win for him as she not beknown to her, managed to help him aquire a new title that’ll benefit him in the future.
’Even she needed help.’ Kyle sighed in his heart. As a princess and next in line ruler, it would an Elise knew so tough skills to help protect herself from danger. Yes! she was forbidden to learn to cast spells by her parents, but she still learnt a few anyways. But upon all that she was still badly injured in a fight between so fox people, and they didn’t even cast any spells just dueling weapons. As a spell caster she was ant for long range attacks, but what would happen when she found herself in the middle of short range attacks? She wouldn’t just plainly accept defeat. no! she’d have to fight and act quickly, casting her spells quickly.
But just like him she still lacked battle instincts and tactics, as they had both just found themselves in the battle for their life’s.
’What if it was one of mine.’ Kyle thought, the mont he saw Elise bloody body. his mind imdiately imagined, what if it was one of his won? He would never forgive himself? as he’d vowed and promised to protect them, and such a thing would tear him to pieces.
He had his demon wife Lilith whom was all powerful, but as a man and the head he felt ashad always relying on her help. With his current body and skills he was no match for stronger foes, as they would squash him with ease. He had to face the hard fact that they were no more on earth but on vaanderwood, and since they arrived everything seems to want to kill him and his won.
’A-am useless.’ Kyle clenched his hand tightly, his sharp fingernails digging into his skin drawing out fresh blood in the process.
’W-what if I didn’t have Lilith?’ He didn’t know why that strange thought suddenly ca to his mind, but he didn’t shove it to the side.
What if he didn’t have his demon wife, or got help from the beings he did? Would life still be the sa? would everything be a bed of roses as it was now? He pondered long and hard on that matter, as the thought of how things would take place lingered in his mind.
[Don’t beat yourself up too much.] Snow’s soft voice calmly spoke in his head. [Am just glad you’re finally paying attention.] Snow softly giggled in Kyle’s head.
As a guide in his system, snow was ant to help Kyle out in ways he was confused about. But she could only help out if he requested, or when she knew he was in life threatening danger. The system limited her functions to so extent, and ever since that glitch she felt sothing bad was coming.
She was happily watching Kyle level up and rise more in ranks, with him completing difficult tasks that she didn’t think he could. She was happy with the way he was progressing, but she still knew he was ignoring so things in the system. She didn’t want to interrupt but just watch Kyle do his thing, but now that the latter was starting to see things more than they were, she was extrely overjoyed.
"Yeah.. too." Even though the energy required for dark flas were small, he still had to pay attention to the consumption of his demon energy in a fight. He was really pissed at how low his demon energy was, as he had to choose wisely which skill to use in a fight.
"Isn’t there a way to increase my demon energy?" Kyle asked not really sure. Even as a newly evolved demon, his demon energy wasn’t ant to be this low.
[Hehe! I won’t tell.] Snow playfully giggled.
’S-so there’s a way.’ Kyle exclaid his eyes widening a bit.
"Snow what’s the way?" Kyle asked, glimr of hope shining in his eyes.
[I said I won’t tell.] Snow childishly said like a little girl.
"Snow~"
[Hmph! Fine! You’re no fun at all.. There is but you’re not up for it yet.] Snow plainly said which made Kyle frown.
"What do you an not up for it?"
[You’re basically weak right now, so your body won’t be able to handle the intake if more demon energy. That’s why the system, specifically absorbs demon energy according to your limit.]
"So you an my limit is 50 demon energy." Kyle replied bumd. His body had advanced more than when he was human, but as a demon he was really weak.
"But what if I level up? My stats would surely increase right? And my body would be much stronger." Kyle theorized. For everyti he levelled up, his system would increase his stats hence strengthening him.
[Of course! Your body would beco stronger, but you’d have to reach level 100 first and you’ll also have to evolve death’s call.]
’Evolve death’s call? There isn’t any requirents in levelling it up, not to ntion evolving it.’ Unlike dark flas, his system didn’t provide any requirents he should et to level death’s call up. Apart from transformation, death’s call was his second most lethal skill in his arsenal, so it would be a huge benefit if he could evolve it.
[Just reach level 50 and you’ll understand.]
"Hmm.. why does it feel like there’s a surprise waiting for at level 50?" Kyle raised a brow, he could sense the anticipation and excitent hidden in snow’s tone.
[You’ll see. Prince Kyle.] Snow coetishly said imitating a Britain’s accent.
’This-’ Kyle was stunned at how much sense if humour snow gained, during these past few days. He was quite happy her cold personality was fading and replaced with mischievousness, but she was beginning to get naughtier than him.
"What do you think I’ll evolve into?" Kyle softly asked. The last ti his body evolved was at level 10. He didn’t know if his evolution was extrely painful, as he’d passed out. But the various MC’s evolution he’d heard about were really horrifying. It was like a 50-50 chance for them, they could literally see their lives flashing before their eyes! But after the storm, everything was calm and their bodies had changed drastically.
[I can’t say for sure but..] she whispered softly. [Am sure you’ll turn into a fine little demon prince.] She mockingly said making Kyle’s face contort.
’One day..’ Kyle vowed in his heart he would teach snow a lesson. Laying upwards, he sighed as a cool breeze blew his hair. He was living the life he wanted having sex with won and aquiring power, but there was still this lingering thought in his mind.
’Lucifer.’ He didn’t know why but he’d this feeling that all of his fantasies would soon co to an abrupt end, and it wouldn’t be long.
’I wonder what will happen when I reach level 50.’ Kyle inwardly thought. Level 50 was a great number, as in his case it signified a huge gap in power. According to the various fantasy novels he’d read, when an mc reaches level 50 they would usually evolve into sothing more powerful. Though they would have to complete hard quest and et the system requirents, but he was more than excited to reach it.
’Level 100 huh!’ Snow had said his body would be able to absorb more demon energy, when he reached level 100. But she’d also said, he needed to evolve death’s call. he didn’t know why, but he guessed maybe it was sohow related to his evolution. As death’s call wasn’t a skill like any other, focusing on sucking the life force out from a being. It was truly terrifying and Lilith even confird it, he was surprised how not many demon had this skill but he a new demon did.
’It’s ti to level up dark flas.’ He prioritized in his mind, as his eyes then slowly shut. Tomorrow was going to be a good day for him and he could feel it, he would be one step closer on his verge for power.
