Freaking out Kyle’s translucent hand was trembling causing it to break into smaller most particles forming back. He was uncomfortable like this in this state and witnessing his body break into pieces just added more fuel to the fire.
D-did you just say spirit.. deplete? Kyle stuttered his eyes twitching slightly. He attempted to punch eldren but his body just passed through like a mist forming at eldren’s back.

Anyways like I said before you have to remain calm otherwise you’ll burn your spirit self much faster. Eldren said again this ti in a more serious tone. Adhering to eldren’s warning Kyle remained still trying his best to remain calm even though he was freaking out on the inside.
Good.. now let explain to you. Other than physical enhancents there are other ways to hone your skills. One of which is ntally. Eldren said sitting in a ditative state his back straightened.
Under the ntal aspect it is further classified into various branches which includes ditation, ntal fortification, spirit enhancent and ntal fortification spirit. Eldren explained carefully to which Kyle paid attention to. He’d read a lot of novels about MC’s honing their spirits through dication but this was his first ti of hearing about MFS.
Like I said ditation allows the user to hone their abilities and skill, ntal fortification focuses mainly on fortifying the mind ntally, spirit enhancent as the na implies focuses on enhancent of spirit. Eldren paused a bit seeing Kyle was all focused on him crossing his legs sitting sitting down but he only floated in the air.
Why does this feel a little awkward. Eldren inwardly chuckled seeing Kyle pay attentivly to him. It was like he was his master and Kyle the student training for a special competition.
Ehhm! As I was saying.. spirit enhancent can be achieved through various ways. So prefer ditation which is slow and requires a lot of effort. Others tend to take the shortcut relying on spirit crystals to enhance their spirit rapidly..
Wait.. what do you an by spirit crystal? Kyle asked a bit shocked. Recalling the novels he’d read there wasn’t such a thing like spirit crystal. There was beast crystals or orbs gotten from beasts, energy crystals also widely referred to as mana crystals gotten from the energy around.
I can see you’re confused.. eldren chuckled slightly waving his hand as an item dropped from mid-air. Looking at it it was a white crystal the size of a pebble radiating brightly.
This is a spirit crystal and it can be used to enhance once spirit or it can be used for other purposes. Having a good look at it Kyle didn’t know why but he was drawn to it lie it was calling out to him. He could see bits of himself floating towards the crystal causing it glow more brightly.
How is he reacting to the crystal? Eldren wondered seeing Kyle drawn to the spirit crystal. And.. how does he have a spirit?
Shaking his head the crystal then turned to particles of light fading into the air. Kyle was montarily snapped from his trance still floating about.
So you’re saying this is my spirit and that thing.. was a spirit crystal. Kyle clarified to which eldren softly nodded closing his eyes the sa white mist excluded from him forming his appearance.
Now that you’re familiar with the basics we can finally begin our training.
Hold up a minute.. I understand spiritual enhancent is good but I don’t see how it helps improve my skills. Kyle shrugged not interested in eldren’s teaching. He’d expected the latter to teach him so skills or train him in hand to hand combat but ntal fortification spirit? Now that was just absurd.

Kyle’s spirit was sent flying back only stopping a few ters. H-how did you do that? Kyle was definitely shocked. Just like in eldren’s real body he’d used the sa versatile speed to reach him and land a hit. But the confusing part was Kyle couldn’t touch eldren let alone landing a hit on him.
Co on don’t just stand there. Eldren frowned gesturing Kyle co at him. Charging his feet Kyle tried shooting towards eldren just like in the real world but sadly this wasn’t real. At least not to him and he could only flost around aimlessly.
This is embarrassing. Kyle puffed in frustration. Not only could he not move properly but he couldn’t also fight in this state.
Look young one. This is a much complex process than you can imagine. Am surprised you were able to enter your spirit state when I flicked your forehead. Most of the people I’ve attempted it on usually dies rarely did one survive so consider yourself lucky.
Hearing eldren Kyle wanted to speak in protest but was imdiately shunned by eldren.
In a living being there are three main cores of life. The body, the soul and the spirit. Eldren said in a neutral voice continuing. The body is the vessel for the soul and spirit of a living thing residing in it. When the body is destroyed or damaged a living being may aquire a new body as long as the soul and spirit are still intact.
Just like reincarnation. Kyle fully understood the concept of eldren’s words.
Exactly.. the soul is just an incarnate of the spirit without it a living being with a spirit can still be reincarnated. And lastly the most important the spirit. It is considered the core essence of life as it is our astral form containing our emotions, characters and mories. Eldren slowly poured out the information slowly so Kyle could understand every bit of what he was saying.
So you’re saying our bodies and souls are not important than spirit? Kyle was shocked this information wasn’t in the many fantasy novels he’d read. It was mostly depicted that when a person died then that was the end except the person was sohow magically reincarnated by an all powerful entity.
Yes our spirit is where our inner self resides. Just put it like this our spirit is our consciousness, soul and body. Eldren softly spoke in a dialogue voice. Even though he had a poker face he was inwardly astounded by Kyle’s rapid developnt.
The ntal fortification spirit technic was a a very complex process requiring decades of efforts and experience to master. Not only that but the only ones who could achieve such a results were those with high spirits.
It took years to enter my spirit state but he’s already done so with a little help. Eldren smiled weakly looking at Kyle with gleaming eyes. There’s more to him that ets the eye.
How did you do that.. you know hit .
It’s simple.. just harden your spirit just like water turning to ice.
A-are you kidding , that’s it? Kyle grumbled finding it hard to practice what eldren said.
Harden your spirit? Like water into ice. What a load of shit. Kyle couldn’t work with just that information it didn’t exact contain a lot if information or instructions. And not to ntion he was new to all of this!
Focus.. the key to one’s inner self is through the mind. Eldren uttered taking a stance his eyes closed. A whit circle then ford beneath his feet with a line and two strange symbols opposite sides of the circle.
The mind is a gateway to one’s spirit and soul. Open it an you unlock your inner self close it and you beco stagnant just like a rock. Performing so Kung Fu moves the white light then got brighter radiating with such intensity that threatened to blind Kyle’s eye. Watching eldren it was like he was in those Chinese movies where the MC was getting an upgrade.
Clear your mind of all thoughts let it flow gracefully like a river falling down a high mountain. Feel your aura flowing through every bit of your spirit and harness it. Taking a step back eldren pushed his left leg back crouching down a bit. His left hand extended backwards a bit while his right hand pushed forward.
Kyle could soon see sothing was happening as a small ring slowly ford in eldren’s palm getting bigger. It then reached the so lengths high resembling more of a circle.
Why does this seem familiar. Kyle frowned seeing there were strange symbols on it. The ring then humd a static tone charging up. After so seconds it was finally charged firing off a blast destroying the portion of the white space where it hit.
T-teach . Kyle stuttered his eyes widened. Raising a brow eldren was surprised to see the change in attitude as a smile slowly crept to his face.
It will take a lot of ti and effort but I know you can do it.
