Angelina said, "Then be careful."

"Don’t worry, I’ve got this."

Xia watched Jiang Chen’s figure as he faced thousands of Corrupted Heroes alone. This courage alone deserved admiration.

Xia had also witnessed Jiang Chen’s speed, which was extrely fast. He moved through them like a specter, his enemies unable to grasp him. Unless it was a class that could blockade Space, or a Barrier Master using barriers to lock down the Space, they wouldn’t have a chance to catch him.

At this mont, Jiang Ling and the other two watched Jiang Chen strut out. Van Lundin, puzzled, asked, "Why is there only one person? Could the Priest by his side already be dead?"

Jiang Ling said, "Be careful."

"Careful of what?"

"Careful of the enemy."

The other two were baffled.

Jiang Ling laughed. "Actually, he was already hiding nearby. He’s thinking the sa thing we are: planning for us to attract the enemy’s attention so he can make a clean getaway."

"Now that he’s appeared alone, there’s only one possibility."

"He’s here to ascertain the enemy’s true strength."

"His speed is very fast. If there are experts among the enemy, he can use his speed to flee and draw them towards us. If that happens, we’ll be the ones facing the danger."

"And he and his companion will take the opportunity to escape."

Van Lundin exclaid, "How could you possibly know what he’s thinking?"

"If I were him, I’d do the sa thing."

Van Lundin looked astounded. He’s right! This Swordsman is incredibly fast; he definitely would use his speed to his advantage.

The Magician beside Van Lundin said, "Mr. Jiang, what do we do now? We must protect the Young Master and return to the Continent of All-Gods."

"The only way now is to join forces with him," Jiang Ling noted. "He’s a Swordsman with strong abilities, possessing not just formidable speed but also long-range Attack Power. His class seems to integrate both lee and ranged combat."

"He’s like a Magic Swordsman; the only difference is his Skills, which are inherited from the Wanderer."

Magic Swordsn are just like that: capable of wielding long-range Magic, they are considered ranged attackers but also have lee advantages, essentially a class combining warrior and Magician. In the Xileruo World, most classes are similar to the Magic Swordsman, able to use Magic from afar and sword techniques up close.

Van Lundin shook his head. "This guy is very proud; he won’t team up with us."

"That might not be the case."

"Mr. Jiang, do you have a way to make him join forces with us?"

"What does a Hero need most? Nothing more than equipnt and Skills. Just use those to buy him over. You’re a mber of the Stuart Family; surely you have equipnt, right?"

Van Lundin nodded. "Our family has countless pieces of equipnt, even Legendary Sets."

"Then just prepare a Legendary Set that he needs."

"That can be done."

Jiang Chen was about to move forward but suddenly stopped and turned to look back into the depths.

Why didn’t you say so earlier? If I’d known you had equipnt, that would have been wonderful!

Currently, Jiang Chen’s equipnt was a level 100 Legendary Set. He was now level 156 and, having reached Third-stage, could wear Third-stage sets. The difference in Attributes between level 100 and level 150 equipnt was significant.

Moreover, Legendary Equipnt was rare in the wilderness. Most of what dropped was silver, Black Iron, or Diamond-grade equipnt, which Jiang Chen didn’t even consider. Even if Legendary Equipnt did appear, it was usually a single piece, not part of a Set with Set Attributes.

A Set was the best kind of equipnt because its unique advantage was the additional Attribute Value it provided. Jiang Chen’s current Set Attributes were: Physical Defense Power 500, Magical defense power 500, Physical Attack Power 300, Magic Attack Power 300, Constitution 150, Strength 150, Spirit 150, and Agility 60.

Of course, it also ca with additional Skills.

Skill 1: 50% chance to poison the enemy on hit.

Skill 2: 50% chance to confuse the enemy on hit.

Additionally, when casting Skills, there was a chance to increase Four Dinsions: Strength 50, Spirit 50, Constitution 50, Agility 5. This effect could stack up to 10 tis.

Such an enhancent was not trivial; Legendary Sets, compared to individual items, increased Attribute Values by at least 30 percent.

Van Lundin’s face was a picture of astonishnt. He actually heard us talking? How is that possible? That’s at least 300 ters away!

Jiang Ling was inwardly shocked. This guy’s Perception is so strong he can hear us from such a distance. He’s truly a formidable expert.

Jiang Chen approached Van Lundin, stopping one hundred ters away.

He smiled and said, "I’m very interested in your proposal, especially the Legendary Set."

Van Lundin erged from the bushes. "If you can escort back to the Continent of All-Gods, I’ll give you a Legendary Set."

People from the Stuart Family really are ostentatious, handing out Legendary Sets like they’re nothing. Badass to the bone!

"What about the level?"

"Up to level two hundred; that’s within my authority."

"Level two hundred is perfect for . But how can I trust you? What if you go back on your word after I escort you back? You should know that words alone are no guarantee."

Van Lundin snorted coldly. "I am from the Stuart Family. A re level 200 Set is nothing to ."

Jiang Ling said, "He’s from the Stuart Family. I don’t know if you’re aware, but their family has a lot of Legendary Sets. If you don’t trust him, you can ask for the equipnt he’s currently wearing; he’s at Fourth-stage."

"He’s a Magic Swordsman; you should be able to wear his gear."

Van Lundin looked back at Jiang Ling. My equipnt? If I give it to him, what will I wear?

Jiang Ling smiled. "Young Master, you’re already level 248 and will soon be changing to Fifth-stage equipnt. What does it matter if you give him yours?"

Van Lundin nodded; that seed to make sense.

Jiang Chen was intrigued. A level 200 Legendary Set? Very nice!

He was currently level 156. When he reached Fourth-stage, it would be the perfect ti for an upgrade. With his Hundred Tis Amplification, using it up to level 200 would be no problem at all. But after level 200, he would still need to switch equipnt. After all, if his gear didn’t keep up, the difference in Attributes would be substantial. Wearing a level 100 Set at level 200 would be embarrassing!

And to forge a Set, one must be on the Continent of All-Gods. In other words, only by obtaining enough rit Points can one forge Sets. I was planning to use my rit Points to advance my own Sequence. I’m currently at [Cataclysm] First-stage, which seems a little insufficient. To advance to the [Order] Sequence, I’ll need a lot of rit Points. Saving rit Points wherever possible is crucial.

Jiang Chen said, "I want to inspect the goods first."

Van Lundin was infuriated. This guy doesn’t trust ? What an ignorant buffoon!

With an air of pride, Van Lundin imdiately displayed his equipnt.
