Jiang Chen looked at the purple Grand-level Equipnt.

[Bartlett Brady’s Giant Sword (Grand)]

[Level: 150]

[Required Class: Swordsman, Magic Swordsman]

[Physical Attack Power: 2,800-3,800]

[Magic Attack Power: 2,000-2,800]

[Strength 500]

[Spirit 400]

[Constitution 500]

[Agility 125]

[When equipped, increases all Four Dinsions by 500 points, and increases Physical Attack Power by 500...]

[When equipped, increases Skill Attack Power by 10,000%.]

[When casting a skill, increases defense by 300%.]

[Divine Light Slash: Swings forward in a half-moon arc, increasing damage by 5,000%. Skill cooldown: 10 minutes.]

[Divine Light Blessing: Increases Status Resistance by 1,000 points and releases a Shield that absorbs 80% of damage. Duration: 5 minutes. Skill cooldown: 5 minutes.]

[Passive Skill Divine Light Glory: Upon taking fatal damage, beco immune to this instance of damage. Cooldown: 5 minutes.]

These attributes are freaking amazing! Jiang Chen thought.

Firstly, its Physical Attack Power and Magic Attack Power were already high. Upon equipping, it further increased all Four Dinsions and Physical Attack Power. This was basically a double boost.

Beyond that, there were three especially heaven-defying attributes.

Divine Light Blessing absorbed 80% of damage, lasted for 5 minutes, and had a 5-minute cooldown. This ant it could maintain 80% damage absorption constantly.

Then there was the Passive Skill Divine Light Glory, which could even grant immunity to fatal damage.

Too bad this was a Great Sword.

If it were a Thin Sword, that would be fantastic.

Jiang Chen asked, "Where did you get this giant sword from?"

The Blood Moon Demon King said, "Once, on the battlefield, I encountered a Third-stage Child of God. I killed that fellow later on, and I’ve kept this piece of equipnt ever since."

This guy is really strong to have taken down a Child of God.

Daphne, looking at the na, said, "Bartlett Brady... he was a Child of God from your Hero’s Continent, a true descendant of a God."

Daphne continued, "As for your reward, I recall I owe you two more. For now, pick any two pieces of equipnt, and we’ll call it even."

"You’re quite the scher, aren’t you? Don’t forget I spent 40 billion to ransom you. No matter how you slice it, you should give so compensation for that."

Daphne saw through Jiang Chen’s intentions.

He clearly wants all the equipnt.

Most of this equipnt was blue, the so-called Legendary Equipnt. If these were sold, they would fetch sky-high prices, far exceeding the value of 40 billion.

Daphne said, "Fine, take it all. That makes us even, right?"

"I’m a very fair person. We’re even."

Fair my ass! It’s clearly who’s at a loss! Daphne wanted to scream.

"Blood Moon, go outside and keep watch. Don’t let anyone in. I need to rest."

"Yes, Master." The Blood Moon Demon King walked out of the cave reverently.

"So this is the servant contract you ntioned? He really is obedient," Jiang Chen said enviously after a glance.

"Once they beco a servant, I can control their thoughts, and they will never rebel. It’s a sha we Incubi can only form a contract with one servant."

"One is enough. Look at , I don’t even have a servant."

"You’re not an Incubus. Why would you need a servant?"

"Let’s get so sleep!"

"Together?"

Daphne turned back with a smile. "We could, but I’m afraid what I’d pull out might be bigger than yours."

"Then forget it. I’ll just find a spot anywhere."

Daphne gave a mysterious smile and said nothing.

Jiang Chen obviously already knew that Incubi were female. In the real world, they couldn’t change their physical form; only within the Dream Realm could they transform at will.

Of course, Daphne understood too.

Their relationship was ultimately bound together by mutual interest, devoid of any physical relations.

Jiang Chen didn’t want it.

Daphne didn’t want it either.

Both remained silent. Daphne turned to look at Jiang Chen, who was sitting cross-legged. As she watched him, sowhat lost in thought, she mused, He’s actually quite handso.

"Spying on others isn’t good behavior."

"I’m not spying. I’m looking at you openly and honorably."

Jiang Chen rolled his eyes. "If you’re going to look, you have to pay."

"Jiang Chen, do you want to beco a God?"

"Of course."

"Then I have to tell you, that’s impossible. You cannot beco a God."

"Saying that really hurts my feelings."

"It’s the truth."

"How can you be so sure I can’t beco a God?"

"Because your Swordsman class has no God in the first place."

"What does that have to do with becoming a God?"

"Of course, it does."

"How so?"

Daphne explained, "To beco a God, there’s one essential requirent: God’s Seal. Every class has its own God’s Seal. Only by obtaining the God’s Seal corresponding to one’s class and integrating it into one’s body can one beco a God."

"For example, if a Paladin obtained the God’s Seal of the Incubus Class, that God’s Seal would be completely useless to the Paladin."

"Only when a Paladin obtains the Paladin’s God’s Seal and ets the necessary conditions can they beco a God."

"However, Swordsn lack a God’s Seal, and thus cannot beco Gods."

"They can only beco Demigods."

"A so-called Demigod is soone who has leveled up to their limit and cannot advance or break through any further. Such a person is referred to as a Demigod."

"The minimum level for a Demigod is 450, which is beyond the ninth stage."

"The highest level for a Demigod is 499."

"Once they reach Level 499, they cannot break through any further. Beyond that is Godhood."

Hearing Daphne’s explanation, Jiang Chen contemplated. If I can’t beco a God, then what’s the point of leveling up?

Jiang Chen then asked, "So, how exactly are God’s Seals created?"

"I’m not sure about that. It seems they are crafted by soone."

"If they’re crafted by soone, then when I reach Level 499, couldn’t I just find the person who crafts God’s Seals? That should do the trick."

Daphne smiled. "That might indeed be one way, but it’s just sothing I’ve heard. I’m only Level 300 myself; I have a long way to go to level up further."

Jiang Chen retorted, "Do you want to beco a God?"

"Of course. It’s the dream of every Hero."

"If you wish to beco a God, then you must kill the God of your class. Do you think you can do that?"

"That’s only one way. There’s another thod."

"Which is?"

"The Battlefield of the Gods."

"What’s that?"

"That’s where the All Gods fall. You should know that Gods can die too. When a God dies, they generally reincarnate. So will carry their God’s Seal with them, while others will leave it behind. The place where these Seals are left is the Battlefield of the Gods."

"Take your girlfriend, Angelina, for example. She was likely a God who fell on the Battlefield of the Gods. She’s very fortunate because she still possesses her God’s Seal."

"How do you know?"

"Rember that roar from the other night? That was the sound of a God’s Seal."

Jiang Chen fell into thought.
