----

At the sa ti in Tokyo, a bustling cosmopolitan city with a population of more than 13 million, everyone was working, shopping and eating as usual, not aware of the death threat.

"Look at the sky, what is that?"

"It looks like two huge Iron Giants."

"They seem to be fighting."

A blazing missile streaked across the sky like a fiery cot, leaving a trail of smoke and destruction in its wake. It closed in on the bustling streets below with terrifying speed.

"That's... that's a missile! RUN! It's not a drill! MOVE!" scread a panicked citizen, their voice barely audible over the screeching roar of the projectile.

BOOOOOOOM!

The missile detonated upon impact, unleashing an earth-shattering explosion. The ground convulsed violently as the blast wave tore through the city, ripping buildings from their foundations and hurling debris skyward. Towering flas erupted, engulfing entire city blocks in a fiery inferno that painted the sky blood-red.

Amid the chaos, William and Lockdown plumted from the heavens, locked in a fierce grapple. Their colossal forms crashed into the earth with a deafening BOOM, carving a massive crater a kiloter wide. The shockwave obliterated nearby structures, sending tremors rippling across the ground.

The streets ran red with the devastation, countless lives lost in the aftermath.

Panting heavily, William staggered to his feet, his battered form visibly trembling. One hand clutched his chest, the other his stomach, as he struggled to steady himself. His tallic body was cracked and flickering with unstable energy, shifting colors as if on the verge of collapse.

Lockdown, equally damaged but unyielding, rose with a twisted grin. "Boy," he snarled, his voice dripping with malice, "I'll rip you apart limb by limb."

William sneered, his tone defiant. "Yeah, and I'll let you? Keep dreaming, scrapheap."

Lockdown lunged forward, his movents a blur of raw power.

BOOOOM!

The two titans collided with the force of a teor strike, igniting a new wave of destruction. Skyscrapers crumbled as their shockwaves rippled outward, and the ground fractured beneath them, splitting open to swallow the remnants of the once-thriving tropolis.

The city's military forces sprang into action. Fighter jets streaked across the sky, tanks rolled through the devastated streets, and a barrage of missiles rained down upon the battling giants.

"Pests!" Lockdown bellowed, his voice echoing like thunder. With a sweep of his arm, he unleashed a barrage of energy blasts, tearing through the advancing Self-Defense Forces. Jets spiraled out of control, crashing into fiery infernos, while tanks exploded like firecrackers under the relentless onslaught.

A fighter pilot's frantic voice crackled over the comms. "Requesting reinforcents! Enemy weapons are too powerful! We need imdiate firepower support!"

"An ard fleet is en route," ca the response. "ETA five minutes. Hold the line until then."

But the line was collapsing. As the transmission ended, William fired a projectile of his own, obliterating the fighter midair.

Lockdown charged William once more, their collision sparking another catastrophic explosion.

Missiles scread from the distance, striking Lockdown squarely in the back. The impact staggered him, his roar of pain shaking the battlefield.

Onboard an aircraft carrier in Tokyo Bay, a gunner announced, "Direct hit! Target neutralized!"

"Good! Keep firing!" the fleet commander barked.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

A volley of missiles streaked toward the combatants. William deftly grabbed Lockdown, using him as a shield, before retreating into the shadows.

Lockdown's laughter bood through the smoke. "You dare challenge , insects?" With a feral roar, he launched himself toward the fleet, his glowing energy cannons prid and ready.

"OPEN FIRE!" the fleet commander scread, panic lacing his voice.

A barrage of missiles and anti-aircraft fire lit up the sky, but Lockdown weaved through them with horrifying precision. His cannons glowed brighter before unleashing twin beams of raw destruction.

The beams struck the flagship aircraft carrier.

BOOOOOM!

The carrier erupted in a massive fireball, fragnts of its hull raining down upon the surrounding fleet. Flas roared as the debris crushed nearby vessels, creating an apocalyptic scene on the water.

"Is that all?" Lockdown sneered, turning back toward the city.

But his gloating was cut short as a massive fist slamd into his face.

"Aaaaargh!" he roared, stumbling backward into Tokyo Bay.

BOOOOM!

His massive fra crashed into the water, creating a tidal wave that surged toward the city. The wave consud the already-devastated streets, drowning thousands in its wake.

William, his body sparking and faltering, hovered above the chaos. His movents were sluggish, his power dwindling.

"Damn it," he muttered, his voice strained. "I can't hold this together. If this keeps up... I'll tear myself apart."

Lockdown, erging from the water with murderous intent, wasted no ti. He shot toward William like a missile, his energy crackling with unrelenting fury.

William's body seized up, unable to evade in ti.

BOOOOOOOM!

Lockdown's fist drove into William's chest, shattering his defenses and sending him hurtling through the air. His massive fra smashed into the iconic Tokyo Tower, reducing it to rubble in a single, catastrophic blow.
