World Domination Begins With Getting a System in a Modern World Chapter 41: Making Investment Plan
The reason why Jas wants to invest his money was naturally because of one thing: getting more rebate eligible funds.
Jas currently has zero rebate eligible dollar and although he wasn’t too bothered by this, it doesn’t exactly an that he isn’t looking for ways to get so.
Yes, he currently has $24.5M in his portfolio that are rebate eligible but just as he previously said, he won’t be touching it. At least until the token has been listed, Jas won’t be touching it.
Naturally, he current need rebate eligible funds for the system 10x rebate function to activate, but he wasn’t exactly in an urgent need for it.
Jas threw his head back, relaxing into the chair as he thought of what next to do. He thought of the options he had and it was actually limited.
Except putting his money into stocks or crypto, Jas ruled out stocks and crypto as he lacked the knowledge in things related to both.
That left only one possible option: starting a business. But with no product ideas or experience, even that seed like a gamble.
One might consider the coin project to be a business but Jas didn’t consider it to be so. To him, the coin project was nothing more than a quick hustle sort of thing.
It would had been different if it was a coin with its own blockchain and all, but this wasn’t the case.
As for creating a company, there was a huge problem with that; Jas has no knowledge on how to go about creating a company or what the company’s product would be.
Yes, he can get information online or probably from Patty on how to create a company, but what about the company’s product.
As a chanical engineering student, Jas wasn’t familiar with anything business and so, he finds it hard to think of sothing.
Also, creating a company from scratch is quite expensive and there are a lot of protocols, and procedures to follow.
Jas wasn’t sure if he has enough capital to cover the creation and running of a company, and the fact there was no guarantee that the company was going to be a success made everything even more difficult.
As for the idea of investing his money into crypto or stocks, Jas didn’t want to do that because of his lack of knowledge and he’s soone who doesn’t dabble in what he doesn’t understand.
Yes, there’s Ralph who has knowledge on things related to crypto and stock, but the knowledge Ralph has on these things can be defined as barely above rudintary.
This wasn’t Jas downplaying Ralph as it was actually the truth. On more than one occasions, Ralph has told Jas that more than 90% of his successful trades are because of signals that were dropped in the group he was in.
With this, there was naturally no way that Jas would be willing to bet millions of dollars on signals that has a 50% to less than 50% chance of making him profit.
"Is there really no other option? Sothing more less risky?" Jas asked himself.
The thought of buying the community bank ca to Jas mind but since he’s banking a lot on this and the fact that he doesn’t actually have any idea on how he would revive the bank if he purchases it, he had to push the thought aside.
Jas thought hard on what to do but his brain seems to be void of ideas. He sighed and stood up from the chair, and walked to his bed.
He slumped onto it tiredly and sighed. The following mont, his eyes lit up as he finally thought of sothing.
"Maybe I can ask Patty. She has been working at the community bank for more than a decade now. I’m sure that she might have so information on the business and corporate world that she can give ," Jas said to himself, and imdiately stood up from his bed and left his room.
He walked to the door of Patty’s room and when he got there, he knocked and waited for a response but he got nothing.
"Seems like she’s not in her room," he said to himself, and went downstairs, to the living room.
When he got to the living room, he saw Leslie seated on the sofa, watching her favourite TV show. But he didn’t walked towards her, as he made his way to the kitchen.
Jas walked into the kitchens and he saw Patty setting ingredients on the counter, in preparation to begin making lunch.
"Hey, honey. How are you feeling now?" Patty asked, as he walked into the kitchen.
"Fine. I got the anger out of my system," Jas replied with a smile, as he walked to the fridge.
He opened it, took a jug filled with cold water and a glass, and poured himself a glass of water.
Patty sighed in relief and smiled sweetly when she heard what Jas said.
"You know? If you still hadn’t cald down, my plan was for you to sleep in my bed this night and cuddle you all night," Patty said, with a teasing smile.
"Pfft!" Jas imdiately spit out the water he was drinking as he nearly choked on it.
"I’ve outgrown that. I don’t need it anymore," He said with a low voice, and a face red in embarrassnt.
"Hehehe. Are you sure that you have outgrown it? Jas, sweetheart, look in the eyes and tell that you won’t jump at the chance to cuddle with tonight," Patty asked, with a very mischievous smile on her face.
Hearing Patty daring him, Jas coughed internally and forced himself to look her in the eyes.
"I won’t. Like I said, I’ve outgrown it," he said, with solid confidence and a stoic expression.
Patty couldn’t help but giggle at Jas’ words.
"Do you think that saying with such forced confidence and a faked stoic expression, would make it all the more believable?" She giggled, with her hands over her mouth.
"You just don’t know how quite your face is right now with how red it is," she said, and Jas sighed in defeat as he slowly put the jug of water back into the fridge.
Patty smiled at his reaction as she put down what she was doing, and went to hug him.
"Honey, I was only teasing you to make you forget everything. Your anger is scary and it’s sothing I don’t like seeing. I prefer you always having a smile on your face," she said, as she hugged him from behind.
"Thank you, Patty," Jas smiled.
Patty rested her head on his broad back for a few seconds before she stopped hugging him, and went back to what she was doing.
"What is it that’s on your mind?" She asked, as she started chopping the onions.
"You face says it all," she smiled at him.
Jas smiled when he heard Patty’s question. As always, she’s able to read his expression and tell that there’s sothing bothering him.
"I’m thinking of starting a company or a business but I’m lost on ideas. So, I wanted to ask you if you have any idea," he said.
"I also have the thought of buying the community bank you’re working at but that didn’t sound like a good idea to ." He added.
"Starting a business. That’s a great idea," Patty said, and nodded slightly in approval.
"But about you buying the community bank, I will advice you against that," she added.
"Why?" Jas asked curiously.
"I don’t know the details and this is just a guess of mine, but I think sothing big is happening behind the scenes and it’s a hostile takeover," Patty replied in a quieter voice.
