After Brian had left, Patty and Leslie continued their shopping but it wasn’t with the sa enthusiasm they had when they initially walked into the mall.

Their encounter with Brian had ruined the atmosphere for them. This was especially so for Jas, as the usual smile on his face was no more, and instead, it was a very chilling expression that was now on his face.

Patty and Leslie wanted to stop shopping imdiately and go ho when they saw the look on Jas’ face, but he refused.

Seeing this, they could only continue their shopping but with worries expressions.

What Jas said to Brian continued to replay in their head. Patty and Leslie were aware of Jas character, what he’s capable of. They were also aware that he never forgives anyone that slights him. Especially one that insulted and degraded them.

There were previous incidents and instances in the past when Jas beat up boys and n that gave Patty and Leslie trouble.

The first of those incident was when Brian was harassing Leslie and trying to force her to kiss him. After one of her friends ca to report to Jas, with uncontrollable rage, he rushed to the hidden corner of the school and nearly killed all of them.

The next day, Brian’s father ca to the school to raise hell but after he got to know what actually happened, he only glared at Jas before leaving.

Another of those incidents was when he and Patty was at a grocery store, trying to get sothing and a drunk man, in broad daylight, groped Patty.

Jas beat the man into a half date state but he still wasn’t satisfied. If it wasn’t for the storekeeper who held him back till the cops arrived, and took the man, who was a serial offender away, Jas would had killed him right there, as he actually had the intention.

Actually due how bad the man was beaten, Jas was nearly sued but the video evidence from the CCTV cara in store that caught the incident, vindicated him.

Even till today, Jas still hasn’t forgotten that day and the man’s face.

Rembering these incidents and coupled with Jas’ words, Patty and Leslie knew that Brian’s fate was all but certain. And this made them extrely worried.

The both of them made a decision to talk Jas out of going after Brian, as they don’t want him to walk down a path he will never return from, but they also knew that their chances of success are extrely low.

Hours later, the two ladies were done shopping. They got into the car and Jas started driving towards ho.

The atmosphere inside the car was uncomfortable and suffocating for the ladies, and Jas’ silence made it even worse.

Leslie looked at Jas worriedly and turned to look at her mother, who was seated beside him.

The two ladies’ eyes t and they didn’t need to say anything as they imdiately understood what needed to be done.

Patty turned to look at Jas and she sighed when she saw that he still had that cold expression on his face.

"I know that you’re angry because of what that boy said but you don’t have to be. You don’t have to be because you already gave him the beating he deserves. He only said what he said to get under your skin. Don’t let it affect you," she said, with a small smile on her face.

Imdiately, Leslie chipped in.

"Mom is right, Jas. You already beat that pig faced Brian into a pulp, there’s no need to go after because of what he said. The truth is that his words were more like the rambling of a lunatic," she said.

Jas sighed when heard what Patty and Leslie said. He understood what they were trying to do but that wasn’t going to stop him.

But that doesn’t an that he has to continue wearing the cold expression on his face. He was aware that it was making them scared.

"Sigh... I understand that the both of you are worried about and what I’m going to do, but you don’t have to worry. I won’t do anything drastic," Jas said, and smiled as he looked Patty sweetly, and looked at Leslie’s reflection in the rearview mirror.

"I won’t kill him but that doesn’t an I won’t break a couple of his bones. I made a promise to be the man of the house and as such, I must protect and provide for the both of you. And also, destroy anyone that disrespects or harm you," he added, as he muttered to himself.

Patty and Leslie sighed in relief when they heard what Jas said. The fact that he said that he won’t do anything drastic was enough for them.

They knew that they won’t get any result if they push any further than that.

"You guys don’t have to worry.

Leslie smiled as she looked at Jas’ handso reflection in the rearview mirror.

She found it very hard to believe that the sa boy who was running away from bullies in elentary school and early middle school, had beco so manly.

Jas wasn’t always the person he was. Before he beca like this, Leslie knew Jas to be shy, smart and introverted.

This always made him a target for bullying and he was bullied on various occasions. But after his parents died and Jas ca to live with them, he changed and almost beca a new person.

He was no longer shy and instead of being bullied, he started beating them up.

Leslie was shocked the first ti this happened and she rembered the icy look he had on his face, as he beat those kids senseless.

Jas parked and got out of the car. He walked to the trunk and helped Patty and Leslie with their shopping bags.

The three of them walked into the house and after dropping the shopping bags on one of the sofa, he went up to his room.

Walking into his room, Jas took his seat at his workstation and turned on his PC to check the current stats of his coin project.

"$480M. Good. Ralph should be contacting the CEX very soon. Everything is going according to plan," Jas said, and nodded in satisfaction.

Everything was proceeding as planned. It has been barely two days and the coin was almost at the threshold he set for it.

If things continues like this, completing the mission would be very effortless for him.

"Now, ti to check my unread system notifications and my Info screen," he said, as he called up the system interface.

Jas smiled widely from ear to ear, in happiness, after he was done going through his Info Screen.

The happiness evaporated the anger he was feeling feeling previously and the tightness he was feeling in his chest was no more. He still plans to deal with Brian but for now, he wants to focus on other important things.

"$7.6M in cash. Good. Good. Good," Jas said, with his smile widening.

Even though he was completely out of rebate eligible funds, seeing the huge amount in his bank account, Jas didn’t bother about it.

The main reason why Jas didn’t bother about the lack of rebate eligible funds is because of his networth in bracket.

"The more than 51M tokens I have is now worth $24.5M. And it will continue to increase as long as the price of the coin continues to increase in the future. Which, of course, is granted."

"The next thing to do now is start investing my money. Which begs the question of where I should invest it," Jas said to himself, as he fell into deep thought.
