World Domination Begins With Getting a System in a Modern World Chapter 29: First Car

"The total amount would be $24,340. How would you like to make the paynt, sir?" the cashier asked Jas — when he got to the paynt desk — , sporting the usual custor friendly smile on her face.

"In cash. Here's my card," Jas replied, and gave her his debit card.

Laila, who was standing beside him, was very surprised when she saw this. She felt that she might be hearing things wrong as there's no way that the Jas she knew, the sa Jas, who is Leslie's brother, would be able to afford to pay for a car of almost $24,000 in cash. It was just impossible.

But the next mont, she was shocked to her bones by what the cashier said.

"Paynt successful. We will begin processing the necessary docunts imdiately. Please, let us know if there's anything else you need."

"Thank you. Please, be quick with processing the docunts, I have sowhere to be very soon," Jas said, and the cashier nodded, before turning to walk to the white door behind her.

After she had left, Jas left the desk and walked to car he just bought, not bothering to pay any attention to Laila, who was looking at him with a stunned expression on her face.

The docunts of the car were still being processed, but that doesn't an that he can't touch it.

Laila was irritated when she saw Jas walk to the car, without saying anything to her. As the person that attended to him, she expected him to at least say sothing, but all he did was to just walk away.

She found everything that just happened to be very strange. She knew Leslie's family very well and she knew just how poor they are. So, how was it possible that Jas was able to easily purchase a car of $24,000?

"Did sothing good happen to them? Like win the lottery or sothing?" She asked herself in a low voice.

She felt that this was the only way that Jas could had gotten such amount of money to spend easily.

"If that is the case, then the money must be a lot for him to take such amount to buy a car. I must get close to him. I might be able to get sothing for myself. Hehehe." She smiled deviously and licked her lips.

She adjusted her dress, used her phone to make sure that her make-up was in perfect condition, and after making sure that she was perfect and set to go, she started wiggle walking to Jas.

She was about to get to him, when the cashier's voice was heard, calling Jas.

"Mr Jas, te docunts are ready," she said, as she walked towards him, with a man holding sothing in his hand, following behind her.

"So fast?" Jas was surprised. And the sa was Laila.

The processing of car's docunts are usually long, and for Jas' case, it would take 2-6 weeks, but hearing that Jas wants to be sowhere, and wants to use the car imdiately, they decided to provide a temporary plate for him.

The cashier and the man walked towards Jas. When they got to him, the man walked to the back of the car and started fixing sothing on its trunk.

Jas was curious about what the man was doing and he looked at the cashier, who explaining everything to him, causing him to nod in satisfaction.

"Nice and convenient," he said in approval.

"I'm glad you are satisfied. You can drop your address with us and we will send you the permanent plates and the official registration docunts when they are out," the cashier said, and Jas nodded.

He collected a piece of paper and a pen from her, and wrote his address on it. After that, the cashier handed the car key to him, with the smile still on her face.

Jas gladly collected the keys and turned to look at the car, hoping for the man fixing the temporary plate to be done quickly.

He didn't have to wait long as the man stood up the next mont and nodded at him. He opened the door and slowly got into the car, and took his seat.

He didn't imdiately start the car as he ran his hand on the leather seat he was on, and slowly traced his hand to the dashboard and the steering wheel.

Jas gripped the steering wheel tightly, smiling, before slowly bringing one of his fingers to the ignition button, and pressing it.

The car's engine ca to life and the indicators lit up imdiately, displaying the information they were ant to display.

Jas smiled from ear to ear when he saw all this. He couldn't describe the feelings in his heart at the mont.

He made sure that the car was in park and brought his leg down, and stepped on the gas, causing the car to rev.

Jas laughed happily when he heard the beautiful and lodious sound of the engine, roaring at the top of its voice.

"Ti to take this baby out," he said, as he turned the steering wheel and started driving out of the dealership, leaving the three staffs behind.

After Jas had left, Laila, who was previously stunned by the dashing looks of Jas as he held the steering wheel, quickly composed herself and brought out her phone.

She dialled a number on her face and the call was picked on the third ring.

"Hey, you won't believe who I just saw and what just happened," she said to the person on the other side, imdiately the call was picked.

Jas drove through the street of LA with a smile on his face. As he drove past the pedestrians and other cars on the road, a sweet feeling swelled up inside of him.

The feeling a man gets when he drives his first ride and a new one at that, was unbeatable.

Jas felt like he was on cloud nine at the mont, and he doesn't want the feeling to stop.

He rembered the ti Patty forced him to go to driving classes when he reached 18 years. Then, he had felt that it was a waste as there was no car that be would be driving after he got his driver's licence, but look at him now. He now have the car to put his driving skills to the test.
