World Domination Begins With Getting a System in a Modern World Chapter 23: Hidden Mission Objectives
The next morning, Jas woke up and ca downstairs, to see Patty ready for work.
She was dressed in her usual office lady's attire that accentuated her curves, and brought out her beautiful figure.
"Work?" Jas asked curiously, as he took his seat at the dinner table.
"Yes, honey," she replied.
She saw the look on Jas' face and she smiled.
"I know that the company is about to close down soon but I can't just leave it yet. The company was the one that helped when I was going through a tough ti during my divorce.
They are a part of and everyone there are like family to . No one I'm close to have left yet, so I intend to stay," Patty said, explaining.
Jas nodded when he heard this. He was never planning on stopping her. He was only curious as to why she was still going to work, if the company is already closing down, and hearing what she said, made him to understand why.
'She really love her job, her colleagues and the company. I wonder if it's possible for to buy it and stop it from going bankrupt,' Jas thought to himself.
'Oh, wait... I can actually do that. If I have enough money, I can acquire the company and even turn it around. Might...,' Jas thought to himself, again.
"Hey, why are you smiling like a creep so early in the morning,"
Jas' thought was broken by Leslie's voice. He raised his head to look at her and he saw that she was also dressed, ready for work.
"Who are you calling a creep? You want to crack your skull open for you?" Jas asked, with a nacing, not so nacing voice and face.
"Ah! I'm so scared!" Leslie said with a mischievous smile, as she faked a shiver.
Jas shook his head when he saw this. He looked at Patty and saw that she was also smiling at their antics.
With a smile on their faces and a light atmosphere at the dinner table, they had their breakfast.
As they ate, Jas observed Patty and he noticed that her face looked brighter than it used to and her shoulder that was always looking tensed and slumped, looked relaxed. Overall, she looks comfortable, confident and very happy.
'It seems like her letting everything and pouring out her heart yesterday, relieved her greatly.' Jas said, with a soft smile on hie face.

After they were done eating breakfast and the table has been cleared of the dirty dishes, Patty stood up ready to leave. Bfore leaving, she walked to Jas and gave him a light peck on the cheek, band ruffled his hair.
She saw that Jas was very confused by her action but she only smiled, before leaving the house.
Watching Patty leave, Jas had no idea that his lips had already spread into wide smile.
"And there you go again, smiling like a creep," Leslie said with a mischievous smile, and bolted out of the house, before Jas could react.
Jas laughed when he saw this but he made a ntal note to get back at Leslie later.
"Now, it's ti to focus on even more important things," Jas said, as he decided to check his Info Screen.

.....
Jas nodded in satisfaction when he saw the $70,000 sitting in the rebate-eligible funds section of his account balance.
He smiled when he saw his overall account balance for the second ti, and his smile widened when he saw his new networth.
"$153,557.59. That's a lot of money." Jas nodded to himself.
Jas' eyes continued downward and when he saw his system points value at zero, he was a little disheartened. But his face brightened when he rembered the amount of system points he would be getting as reward from completing the mission.
Though the mission would take a while for him to complete, he was excited with the prospect of receiving that 2,000 System Points.
His eyes countinued downward and when it got to the mission section, he couldn't help but notice sothing strange. There was a asterisk symbol behind it.
"Strange," Jas said to himself.
He decided to view the mission details again, while focusing his attention on the asterisk symbol.
[Mission(s): Stable Source of Inco.]
[Description: Have a source of inco that earns you a minimum of $100,000 monthly. Increase networth to $1M. Reward(s): 2,000 SP, 5 Charisma.]
[Hidden Objective: Complete the mission within the next 90 days by earning $100,000 for two months. (Remaining: 89 Days)]
[Bonus Reward(s): 1,000 SP, 2 Intelligence.]
.....
"What?!" Jas exclaid in shock, when he saw the information hidden behind the asterisk symbol.
"Earn $100,000 for two months? 90 days limit? Even more rewards?"
Jas couldn't believe what he just read. As if the 2,000 SP and 3 Charisma reward wasn't enough, the system would reward him 1,000 SP and 2 Intelligence in bonus rewards if he completes the mission within two months!
Naturally, this was sothing to be very happy about as the bonus rewards will help him greatly.
But there was a problem: the difficulty of actually completing the mission within that ti period.
To get the bonus rewards, he has to earn $100,000 for two months. Not in two months but for two months. Which ans that each month, he has to earn $100,000.
Ninety days. Two months of consistent six-figure inco. One slip-up, and those precious rewards — a substantial amount towards the 10,000 SP he needs to unlock the system store — would vanish.
"It seems like the system doesn't want to slack." Jas sighed.
But a smile blood on his face the following mont. Yes, the mission difficult and the hidden objective was even more difficult, but that doesn't an he can't complete it.
If he really puts his mind to it and puts in the effort, completing the mission wouldn't be too difficult.
Besides, he was sure that the system won't give him sothing he can't handle.
With his mind made up, Jas started thinking on how he's going to complete the mission.
Naturally, there's no way that betting would be able to help him to complete the mission. The system said to have a stable source of inco and betting isn't sothing that can be considered a source of inco.
He thought of the coin project that will go live by the weekend. And as things stands right now, it was the only he knew that would be able to help him complete the mission.
All he wants is for it to go viral. But coins are unpredictable, volatile flas that burned bright and often died fast.
Could he really stake his future on that? He doesn't know what the future holds but he has to start thinking of contingencies upon contingencies.
As Jas continued to think of potential source of inco, he rembered the smile on Patty's face when she was talking about her place of work.
Jas had previously thought of acquiring the company because of Patty. If saving that company would continue to keep that light in her eyes, he would find a way. No matter what the cost.
Jas has no idea when the company would actually close down, but he felt that it would still take a while.
"Let's check up the information on the company and also check to know why it's closing down," Jas said to himself.
He opened his phone's browser, typed in the URL address of the company website and clicked on the arrow button.
The company's website loaded and Jas started going through every information on it.
