"How should I address you?"

In Didu Delhi, Li Yu shook hands with the woman who sported ear-length bob hair, who continued yawning repeatedly.

"Just call Cola Bear, I’ve always liked this ID, been using it since middle school QQ days until now. What about you, what should I call you, Oxhead and Horseface, or Black and White Impermanence?"

"Call rlin."

Cola Bear had co alone, without any colleagues.

After shaking hands with Li Yu, she pulled out a chair and sat down, picked up a pencil on the table, and began ticking off items on the nu, "rlin, the magician from King Arthur?"

"That’s right, rlin."

"Okay, you’re braver than I thought, I didn’t think you’d co at all. So Mr. rlin, what exactly do you do?"

After Cola Bear finished choosing her food, she pushed the nu towards Li Yu, "Order whatever you want, it’s on ."

Li Yu took the nu and pulled out a business card from his pocket, handing it to Cola Bear.

Cola Bear glanced at it, "Death indeed is not the end, because you still have to face the deceased’s relatives, so of whom can be quite troubleso, and persuading is not going to be easy.

"I don’t know how you did it, getting the group owner’s account and password, and even providing the decryption code, but..."

"Which part do you doubt?" Li Yu interrupted Cola Bear.

"What?"

"What part do you doubt, I can prove it to you."

"Aha," Cola Bear leaned back, "I know what you’re up to, but I’m not going to refer my patients to you."

"So you’d rather watch them die in fear and reluctance?"

"That’s the law of life, every mortal dies, I’ve done my best, I know I have, so if the patients don’t make it, I won’t feel any guilt."

Li Yu handed the nu to the waiter, "I respect the objective laws of life, and your work as well, but if there was a way to ease those patients’ pain before they die, even just spiritual comfort, wouldn’t that be a good thing?"

"Lie to them about another world? Aside from whether it actually helps, do you think they’d believe it?" Cola Bear shook her head.

"You are a doctor, constantly in contact with patients, do you think they would believe it?" Li Yu countered.

Cola Bear fell silent.

She was a doctor, worked in a hospital, and had seen too many terminally ill people deceived.

Because humans are such creatures that, the more desperate they are, the more they want to cling to anything; as long as there’s a glimr of hope, even if they know it’s a scam, they’d jump right in, unstoppable.

"Moreover," Li Yu said, "who says it’s a scam?"

"Looks like neither of us can persuade the other," Cola Bear spread her hands, "But I admit you’re an interesting person, and younger than I thought. I think we could still..."

She slightly leaned forward a bit more.

"What if I can prove it?" Li Yu said.

"What do you want to prove?"

"That there are forces in this world that transcend science," Li Yu said, "What’s in your bag?"

"Won’t you just use x-ray vision to look?" Cola Bear half-joked, but then she opened her bag anyway.

"You can choose sothing from inside." Li Yu continued.

"Then this coffee bottle," Cola Bear took out a small bottle of Nestle and placed it on the table, "Now what, what do you want to do?"

Li Yu glanced around to confirm that no one was paying attention before he stretched out a hand toward the bottle of Nestle and gestured to it.

The next mont, the small bottle of coffee rose from the table as if pulled by an invisible string, flying straight into Li Yu’s palm.

Li Yu grabbed it and then handed it back to the wide-eyed bear across from him.

This simple action had cost Li Yu 10 points of faith, but the expenditure seed worthwhile. If he could convince Cola Bear, he wouldn’t have to worry too much about the origins of the transmigrators thereafter.

That was also why Li Yu had flown overnight to G City because of a joke Cola Bear had made in the group chat.

The few miracles he controlled included immortality, which was a bit too horrifying; moreover, Li Yu did not wish to die casually when he was free. Walking on water was good, but it required specific conditions.

It wasn’t easy to invite soone to a riverside on their first eting, nor was it appropriate to directly take off shoes. As for linguistic mastery, it was a bit less impactful, so, to be safe, Li Yu used the newly acquired "Force Glove."

And the result was Cola Bear staring blankly at the coffee that had returned to her hand.

She was unable to speak for a long ti.

Cola Bear even opened the coffee to taste it, confirming it was still the original flavor, that the contents hadn’t turned into a jet’s fuel.

"You just... You just made my coffee fly?" Cola Bear stamred, "How did you do that?"

"I’ve told you, not everything in this world can be explained with science."

"May I take a look at your gloves?"

"Of course." Li Yu took off the "Force Glove" and passed it generously.

To any observer, the "Force Glove" appeared no different from a regular leather glove, and without the power of faith, others could not activate it.

Indeed, after several thorough inspections by Cola Bear, she found nothing suspicious.

"I must be sleep-deprived recently and under a lot of stress, seeing hallucinations."

Cola Bear’s favorite intestine rice noodle and shrimp dumplings were served, but suddenly she no longer felt any appetite, muttering to herself, "This can’t be possible, it makes no sense."

Li Yu kindly didn’t interrupt her, allowing her so ti to digest the situation.

Only after Li Yu had drunk most of his boat congee and finished the fried breadstick and stead pork ribs did Cola Bear begin to regain her composure.

"So... the group owner is really in another world now?"

"Yes," Li Yu put down his chopsticks and wiped his mouth.

"How is he doing then?"

"Not bad, but he certainly can’t have these delicacies we are eating right now. After all, it’s only a dieval level of civilization there, without so many spices."

"But he is still alive."

"That depends on how you define ’alive.’ His body is no longer the original one, but his soul still exists."

Cola Bear was once again rendered speechless, and after a long ti she finally spoke again.

"I should probably see a psychiatrist."

"You can, and once you get the diagnosis we can talk more. Your food is getting cold, eat up. Oh, by the way, I brought you a gift."

As Li Yu spoke, he took out a box, and Cola Bear paused as she opened it.

"Steamdeck?"

"Don’t you like it?"

"It’s not that, I just didn’t expect soone to gift a Steamdeck to a girl they’ve never t. But it’s pretty cool, thank you."
