Therefore, the girl refused to learn anything related to Saturday. She wouldn’t listen to Li Yu’s explanations of the Double Rest Sect’s doctrine and would avoid places marked with beaches, palm trees, and sun umbrellas from afar. She would leave her humble abode every day and return to her cottage right after work.

Adelle hoped to maintain spiritual purity in this way, to avoid being corrupted by the filth of paganism.
