"Hm?"

Perhaps it was because Reine's expression was excessively sincere when he spoke, or it might have been because the Black-haired Elf could detect lies through so mysterious ans.

The Black-haired Elf first looked puzzled, then slowly stepped forward, ca up to Reine, and circled around him while his delicate nostrils twitched slightly.

The Black-haired Elf nodded with hesitation and said, "I truly can't sense the presence of the Dark Mother Tree's seed anymore. Could it have really disappeared?"

"Uh... is it possible that its energy was exhausted, or maybe it was hard by the power of witchcraft?" While slling the pleasant, grassy fragrance emanating from the Black-haired Elf, Reine tried to sidestep the issue.

"The forr is not possible, the latter, although not highly likely, seems to be the only reasonable explanation," the Black-haired Elf considered and nodded.

It seed he accepted the explanation Reine provided.

"Young man, since the Dark Mother Tree's seed is destroyed, there could be nothing better. This is the Sorcery Scroll 'Bloom of Life' I promised you, thank you for your honest answer."

Saying this, the Black-haired Elf handed over a Sorcery Scroll to Reine.

"Thank you, Lady Elf." Reine bowed slightly and accepted the Sorcery Scroll, feeling slightly surprised the mont he touched it.

For the material of this Sorcery Scroll was quite unusual, different from any other Sorcery Scrolls he had encountered before.

From the feel of it, the scroll seed to be made from the leaves of so large tree, exuding a faint natural scent, unlike typical Sorcery Scrolls which were primarily made from animal skins.

Just as Reine was about to lift his head and inquire about the specific effects of the Sorcery Scroll 'Bloom of Life', he was startled to find that the Black-haired Elf had vanished.

After pondering for a mont, Reine stored the Sorcery Scroll in his waist pouch.

He then returned to the carriage and began to ponder the events that had just occurred.

Suddenly, that slight dizziness reappeared, and quickly, Reine noticed the fog outside the window clearing rapidly, while Jenny and Agatha were now inside the carriage compartnt.

Both were leaning against each other, deep in sleep.

At that mont, the carriage resud its slow progress forward. The coachman seed to have awakened but was unaware that he had been asleep.

Shortly after, both won's long eyelashes trembled slightly, and their eyeballs moved rapidly under their eyelids. Soon, both woke up almost simultaneously.

"Eh, Lord Reine, did we just fall asleep?"

"Yes." Reine nodded and, at the sa ti, he softly touched the Sorcery Scroll in his jacket.

Fortunately, the Sorcery Scroll was still there, indicating that what he had just experienced was not a dream. Reine thought to himself.

"This is too strange, I clearly had a good sleep last night," Jenny was a bit baffled.

"To have fallen asleep in front of Lord Reine, I am truly embarrassed," Agatha also looked puzzled.

Reine smiled slightly and said, "Perhaps the coachman's skill is too good, and the carriage too smooth, which made you both fall asleep."

Although he said this, Reine was internally astonished by the magical nature of the dream-controlling witchcraft cast by the Black-haired Elf, which seed to effortlessly control the dreams of different individuals within the reach of his sorcery.

After a while, the road beca busier with pedestrians and carriages, and the familiar black-gray tall city walls also appeared in Reine's view.

They had arrived at County Town.

This was Reine's second visit to County Town.

Just like the last ti, after entering the city, the carriage continued to drive for about half an hour, eventually stopping at the gate of a luxurious mansion with a garden.

As the carriage slowly stopped, Agatha smiled faintly and said, "We've arrived, Lord Reine, this is my ho."
