82 Attacking giants

Layton was in his psionic state as soon as the steam had enveloped everyone and even now that the steam had dispersed he did not cancel the state, the environnt of the space now was not as ssy as it was in the normal world there was not too much ssy information Layton could see so that reduced the burden on his soul as he used psionic.

Layton stared at his two opponents ignoring the giants who were still adapting to their newborn life and new forms, he automatically ignored the information he did not understand and were not too prominent or important but instead focused on what he knew, one of his opponents had a complicated energy system that ran through his whole body faintly connecting even most of his cells, the other had no obvious energy characteristic around or in him but In Layton’s vision there were miniature black spots around his body that twisted the surroundings which Layton guessed signified gravity.

“Layton” Layton said suddenly uttering his own na introducing himself, although they were so distance apart he knew they could both hear him clearly, so seconds later he got replies.

“Tang qi” the individual who answered first was a blue haired man, his hair which looked extraordinarily soft stretched to his shoulders and he had so soft facial features which outlined his face, he was thin, had a bookish air around him coupled with his white creamy skin making him look like a scholar out of a painting, he was dressed in a blue Chinese Hanfu and had a soft blue glow around him, vaguely Layton could hear the illusion of the sound of water flowing as he stared at the blue glow.

“Igor” a deep male voice soon sounded after, it was a muscular man with a plain indifferent face donning a grey tank top and plain black trousers, staring at the cocoons and bulging muscles of the man Layton could infer that this was a figure who valued his physical fitness a lot, Layton could not feel any extraordinary energy from the man but Layton’s intuition and the vision he saw was telling him that this man was definitely not a martial artist despite his deceiving figure.

As Layton was observing they too were observing him all the sa trying to figure out details of their opponent suddenly nurous giants roars disturbed their observations and thoughts.

Layton gazed at the giant humanoids they were different from the original one created by the scholar, these giants were born from a mix of the root and the candidate’s body so although they had strength because of their huge body size they were not as strong as the original and Layton could not perceive the rhythm that had granted the original one its perverted undead ability, but one major difference or upgrade was that these giants inherited fragnts of their original bodies extraordinary powers.

No one flinched as the nurous creatures charged at them, Tang qi moved first, stretching his finger forward his energy flowed towards his fingertips and a drop of deep blue liquid shot out from it, the drop shot towards the charging giant and in seconds the drop spread out turning into a huge water dragon, one could clearly see the flowing water making up the dragons body as it slamd into the oncoming giant causing limbs to be torn apart and scattered around accompanying the water dragon’s path.

Although the attack hit them head on but so special giants who had inherited so defensive extraordinary characteristics from the participants survived the attack most of the giants who had unfortunately inherited attack characteristic like fla blowing, ice spears or bone manipulation was hit hard by the attack.

The spells of qi practitioners were basically energy shaping that was activated through strong control over qi and the flow of energy in the ridians of the body, the water dragon spell that Tang qi used was a powerful one which was above his current cultivation level but it had been modified by him making it a one off attack that followed a specific path of travel and so giants had already escaped the water dragons path of travel, in fact, one of the giants was already right in front of Tang qi, it seems it had been lucky enough to inherit a teleportation extraordinary power and it had used it to co right in front of him.

Unfazed and unhurried he stretched out his finger and then a thin line of qi shot out connecting to the water dragon spell that was about to dissipate and then he channelled more energy through the qi line and then with a flick of his fingers the dragon revived left the ground flew up split into smaller dragons and soared at alarming speeds towards the giants that survived the first round of attack including the teleporting giant that was right in front of Tang qi, the giant had already raised its fist to smash the cultivator but then one of the water dragon splits had already co close and in an instant before the creature could react its head had been blown off by the water spell.

The second to take action was Igor, he stretched his palm flat forming a knife posture raised the palm up to the sky and then slashed down, space beca distorted as the area above beca twisted drawing down the chaotic dangerous energies that made up the sky above, the twist attracted only a small amount of energy but it was enough, nurous multicoloured lights in a scattered form like a beautiful teor shower descended unto the ground impacting the assault of the giants.

As for Layton he did not attack at first, using his psionic he converged all his life and energy fluctuations while using his magnetic field to twist the light around him turning him invisible and unnoticed by the giants, most of the giants who lost their target rushed back towards the other two but there were a few who had good perceptions still rushed towards him.
