Wizard: Start with Biological Transformation to Grind Experience Chapter 81 - 021: Kill them all or what?
"Boom!" A thunderous explosion echoed through the cavern, shaking its entirety.
The rapidly bloating Knight’s corpse burst apart with a deafening roar, sending flesh and bone fragnts flying in all directions, propelled by a violent surge of energy.
The transford Lizard Apprentice happened to be directly in front of this Explosion Knight at the mont, as if a grenade had been tossed onto its body. Even the formidable physique of the giant lizard couldn’t endure such a devastating blow.
In an instant, the giant lizard was sent flying, its tail and half of its body blown to smithereens, landing on the ground with a blood-curdling scream.
Corpse Explosion!
This is a 0-ring low-level spell of the Necromancy school, where injecting a trace of Dark Attribute Elental Energy into a corpse stimulates the residual energy within, causing a massive explosive impact.
Though it is of a low level, the spell is quite unique because its power doesn’t primarily depend on the caster’s own strength—it relies heavily on the dium used to unleash the explosion, naly the body to be detonated.
As a Mid-level Apprentice, Lynch can theoretically activate diums equivalent to High-level Apprentice units at maximum potential, producing explosive power that reaches High-level Apprentice-level damage.
Necromancy spells often demand high-quality diums, but their resulting power is equally astonishing.
There are many similar spells, such as certain rare Bloodline magic spells or even the Divine Attribute Magic that Avery cast here. They might be of low spell levels but possess power far surpassing their ranks.
Ultimately, the spell levels defined by Wizards are broad categorizations, though a handful of spells exist outside these confines due to special circumstances. However, such spells are relatively rare.
The chaotic skirmish within the cavern seed to pause montarily following the thunderous explosion.
"Avery, are you okay?"
Taking advantage of the brief lull, Lucas and Lynch rushed to Avery’s side. At the sa ti, Adam swiftly disengaged from his opponent and retreated.
Avery shook her head. "I’m fine."
As she spoke, her expression turned puzzled as she glanced toward Lynch, standing beside Lucas. The earlier powerful Dark Attribute spell had clearly originated from him. Where did Lynch learn such a potent spell? Furthermore...
Avery distinctly sensed that the spiritual fluctuations around Lynch currently matched those of a Mid-level Apprentice.
What was going on?
Lucas, seemingly noticing the confusion on Avery’s face, gestured at Lynch and succinctly explained, "He’s the Shadow Sword!"
"What!"
Avery and Adam visibly flinched, their expressions just as conflicted as Lucas’s had been upon first hearing the revelation.
Unfortunately, the current dire situation left no opportunity for Avery or Adam to comprehend the full story.
"Corpse Explosion?"
A sharp voice rang out. On the side of the Blood Origin Cult, a man with a twisted visage and a slightly deranged expression shouted at Lynch, "Who are you? How do you know Wizard Morris’s Corpse Explosion?"
The Corpse Explosion spell did not originate from the Shadow Tower but was instead discovered in Richard’s Space Ring in the past.
Given its devastating power, the spell holds so notoriety within the Black Tower Alliance. However, its steep learning curve requires a significant mastery of Necromancy to understand deeply. Even in the Shadow Swamp, few apprentices have successfully grasped it.
Lynch wasn’t in the habit of entertaining questions from the dead, and therefore didn’t respond to the man’s query.
Casually, he slid his Great Sword back into his Space Ring and withdrew a Long Magic Wand instead. Given that there was a considerable number of Knights here, and both Lucas and Adam were Body Refining Wizards, there was no need to add more physical damage output.
Before instigating further conflict, he politely turned to Avery and queried, "Kill them all, or...?"
Avery froze, unsure of how to respond. She couldn’t fathom where this apprentice’s confidence ca from. Did he not realize they were currently at a disadvantage?
Seeing no answer from her, Lynch didn’t linger. "I’ll handle it myself, then."
With that, he turned back and began rotating the Magic Wand in his hand.
As Lynch’s wand spun, a spectacle unfolded that left Avery, as well as every Transcendent present, utterly stunned and forever etched in their mories.
First, crimson flas ignited from nothing, coalescing above Lynch’s left side into a fiery orb.
Next, a gust of wind surged, as teal Wind Elents converged rapidly from all directions, gathering above his right side.
Below, inky black gas rose from the ground, clustering near his left thigh as Dark Energy.
On his right thigh, the soil swirled upward, forming a rotating mass of sand and earth.
Fire, wind, dark, earth!
Four elents, four spheres of energy interwove around Lynch, their dazzling radiance shocking everyone present.
"How is this possible?!"
Even soone as knowledgeable as Avery had never heard of any apprentice capable of mastering so many elents simultaneously. The assembly of Elental Energy ant Lynch at least had a spell corresponding to each elent!
"Flap flap!" The sound of wings beating cut through the air.
Unable to contain its mounting bloodlust, Parker darted out from beneath Lynch’s cloak. Flapping its wings high above, it opened its tiny mouth, unleashing a torrent of Fla Breath that instantly illuminated the cavern.
At the sa ti, Lynch swung the wand in his hand.
The fiery Elental Energy encircling him shot forward as a streak of fla. Simultaneously, the Wind Elental Energy from his right quickly caught up, enveloping the flas with high-speed rotations.
In an instant, a colossal Fire Dragon Tornado roared into existence within the cavern.
Fire Dragon Tornado: A 0-ring low-level spell combining Fla and Wind Elents into a hybrid magic. Though apprentice-level, its energy output reached a staggering 11 degrees, rivaling even Mid-level Apprentice spells.
No mortal body could possibly withstand the extraordinary power of such energy units. As the colossal Fire Dragon Tornado rampaged through the cavern, two Blood Origin Cult followers unable to flee were engulfed in its wake.
The sharp, blade-like winds sliced the enemies’ bodies with countless wounds, while flas consud them entirely. Within monts, the two unfortunates had turned into fiery silhouettes, only to be torn apart by the spiraling wind.
As the massive Fire Dragon Tornado swept across the battlefield, the previously hushed combat roared back to life.
"Leave one or two alive!"
After her prolonged shock, Avery finally regained her composure. The heavy expression on her face had dissipated entirely. Although she still couldn’t make sense of Lynch’s abilities, she no longer cared to ponder them.
She only had one thing left she wanted to do.
Clenching her teeth, she spoke in an icy tone, "Kill the rest of them!"
