Wizard: Start with Biological Transformation to Grind Experience Chapter 660 - 29: Fire God of the Ancient Gods
A dozen days later, to the east of the Sky World, deep within the sea of clouds.
The massive body of the "Cloud Whale," like a battle-scarred giant beast, trudged with difficulty through the boundless sea of clouds.
Its forr elegance was long gone. The hull was covered with frighteningly blackened craters and massive, torn wounds.
The main mast leaned askew, with the massive sails torn with several gigantic gashes, their edges scorched and curled, making a "flap-flap" sound like a painful moan in the strong high-altitude airflow. At the stern, two sets of propeller blades were twisted out of shape, emitting a sharp and discordant grinding noise during operation, causing the entire airship to tremble unsettlingly as it flew.
Deep within the cabin, Lynch’s temporary laboratory.
Several alchemical lamps hung from the cabin walls, casting a steady, cold white light. The air was filled with the unique scorched stench of burnt tal, the pungent scent of arcane solvents, and a more primal, violent mixture of sulfur and lava that lingered persistently.
In the center of the laboratory, on a platform shrouded by multiple layers of reinforcent and energy-suppressing runes, lay the shattered pieces of the fla giant that Ragnar had beco.
These charred and twisted fragnts, the largest no bigger than a millstone, the smallest just the size of a fist.
Their surfaces covered with a cracked lava shell, with dark red embers flowing in the gaps, like embers not yet extinguished, continuously emitting astonishingly high temperatures and chaotic energy fluctuations.
Even under the suppression of a powerful rune force field, the aura originating from the forced ignition of life’s essence, forcibly fused with the rules of frenzied fla, still agitated restlessly at the edge of the force field like a trapped beast.
Lynch stood before the platform, grey eyes cascading with streams of data like a silent waterfall. Floating beside him were several semi-transparent energy screens, densely scrolling with complex and dizzying rune formulas, energy spectrum analysis charts, and three-dinsional structural simulations.
He held no tools in his hands, but an invisible spiritual field probed like the most precise instrunt, cautiously penetrating into the interior of a relatively intact remnant of the lava giant’s fist.
"Buzz——"
The remnant trembled suddenly, the flowing dark red embers on its surface brightened abruptly, and a violent, scorching energy of destruction erupted fiercely, impacting the surrounding rune force field, causing a low hum that made the entire platform tremble slightly.
"Rule imprint... deeply embedded in the energy core... almost instinctual..." Lynch murmured, tracing his fingertips through the air, instantly generating a few new restraining runes like invisible chains that forcibly suppressed the agitation.
His "Eye of Death God" operated at full power, penetrating the appearance of matter and energy, delving into their most fundantal structure.
"Energy composition... primarily fire elental core, yet not pure elent... mixed with highly condensed life essence... and... a more ancient, more ’active’ source of rules..."
He brought up a screen, displaying an extrely complex energy network, with the core not being the usual wizard’s rune array or energy node, but a dark-gold fla phantom changing its form, pulsating like a heart.
This phantom exuded an aura both primal and authoritative, rising above ordinary flas.
Lynch’s gaze locked firmly on that pulsating fla phantom, his brow furrowed. This structural pattern... he had seen similar descriptions in so extrely ancient, almost forbidden texts listed by the Wizard Council.
His mind stirred, and a nearby floating tal sphere emitted a soft glow, projecting a hefty book composed purely of light and shadow, rapidly flipping through the pages in the void. Ancient Elven script and strange hieroglyphic runes flowed across the pages.
Finally, the flipping stopped.
On the left side of the page was a drawing outlined with simple lines, depicting a towering fla giant, with feet on a sea of lava, a crown of flas on its head, entwined by runes of destruction and creation. The right side contained a detailed description and energy structure analysis of such an existence.
Lynch’s eyes repeatedly compared the fla giant image, the energy structure diagram on the page, with the pulsing fla phantom at the core of the platform’s remnants.
The core structures, the ’activity’ and ’majesty’ of the fla, the ’primal’ and ’domination’ of the rules, were almost identical!
A na buried in the dust of history exploded in his mind like a thunderclap!
"Fla Demon... Ivrefret!" Lynch’s voice carried a hint of tremor.
Ivrefret!
This na, in the ancient era when gods ruled the earth, was the true na of a deity echoing across countless planes! He wielded the authority of fla, symbolizing destruction and forging, one among the highest existences capable of igniting the spark of civilization or incinerating the world!
The rise of wizards, the twilight of gods. The powerful ancient gods either fell, were forced to leave the Main Material Plane, or fell into eternal slumber. Their era had long ended.
However, these ancient gods had no strict reproductive isolation, and over the long years, their bloodlines spread, diluted, and rged through various ans, eventually leaving nurous descendants in the world containing faint traces of divine power.
These lifeforms, inheriting parts of the divine bloodline and possessing great power and extraordinary potential, were segregated by wizards and collectively categorized as—
"Magic Lifeforms of the Divine Bloodline!"
The fla giant that Ragnar finally transford into, capable of burning the heavens and boiling the seas, derived its source of power from the bloodline of the Fla Demon Ivrefret!
This was not a re mimicry or energy aggregation of elents, but through so secret technique, the latent ’divinity’ in the bloodline was forcibly awakened and harnessed, briefly transforming into a subordinate form of Ivrefret!
Though this form could not compare to a true ancient Fire God, the rules’ stature and sheer destructive force exhibited had already surpassed ordinary domain powers!
"Is it so form of... divine attribute magic?" Lynch’s eyes flickered with strong investigative light, his fingers unconsciously tapping lightly on the cold lab table.
For Lynch, this was a rare experintal material.
Magic Lifeforms of the Divine Bloodline...
After all these years, it had beco incredibly rare.
Especially a powerful magic lifeform capable of almost materializing Ivrefret’s true self, the bloodline concentration must be extraordinarily high!
"If it could be restored..." Lynch unconsciously pressed his lips together.
Magic Lifeforms of the Divine Bloodline started at the very least from the Third-tier Domain, and for the divine nature like Fire God Ivrefret, a being of high authority, during the ancient Age of Gods, it was already a powerful existence mastering the Fourth-tier fla rules!
...
Lynch’s research proceeded intensely, while on the other side, discussions about him also continued deeply...
