Somda took out a Sheepskin Scroll, with a circle of mysterious runes coiled around it. The runes shimred with a faint blue glow.

Lynch looked at the circle of blue runes above it: "This is..."

"ntor, is this perhaps an Abyss Transmission Scroll?"

Among the blue runes above, he recognized so as Space System runes, sowhat similar to the scroll Avery had used before.

Somda praised him: "Your knowledge reserves are indeed exceptional; it’s quite rare for an apprentice to possess such broad insight."

After a brief pause, he nodded: "That’s right, this is indeed a Teleportation Scroll, but it is not an Abyss Transmission Scroll."

"This is sothing I crafted myself. It doesn’t have the strong side effects of the Abyss Transmission Scroll. It uses a point-to-point space teleportation. First, you establish a coordinate, and once activated, it can instantly transport you to that designated location."

Lynch’s mouth hung slightly open.

Space Magic had always been one of the highest-level spells in the Wizard World. Even now, its fundantal principles and chanisms were still only partially understood by Wizards.

As far as Lynch knew, current space teleportation thods either required a fixed device like the Jumping Stone Plate or extensive preparation and chanting, along with significant side effects, like Avery’s Abyss Scroll.

But sothing like Somda described, capable of completing long-distance teleportation in an instant—this was truly unheard of.

Somda continued: "It’s just a pity that this world lacks the materials to craft such scrolls anymore. I’ve searched the entire continent to barely assemble enough for this single scroll."

Searched the entire continent...

Lynch’s expression turned strange. Just who exactly was his ntor?

Somda handed the scroll to Lynch: "Take this with you. Once you’re outside, find a place to pinpoint spatial coordinates. If you ever encounter life-threatening situations in the future, activate the scroll. It will help you escape danger."

Lynch nodded: "Understood, ntor."

Somda then warned him solemnly: "However, you must rember not to grow recklessly confident because of this. The Wizard World is fraught with peril—powerful Demons, Magic Beasts, all sorts of bizarre phenona, countless things both familiar and unfamiliar to you. The scroll can save you once, but it won’t save you a second ti."

"To progress further in this world, the first skill you must master is how to avoid danger. And the best way to avoid danger is to stay away from it entirely."

A seemingly trivial statent, but it revealed a profound truth to Lynch.

Lynch nodded: "I will rember, ntor."

Somda continued: "You’re a promising young man. If we had t earlier, I’d be willing to teach you everything I know. I believe that with proper guidance and ample ti, you’ll achieve remarkable success in the future."

"But alas..."

He stopped, his tone shifting to a gentle sigh: "Ti is what I lack the most now..."

During this encounter with Somda, Lynch wasn’t sure how much ti had passed, but he was certain it had been another prolonged period. He could clearly sense Somda had aged further.

Lynch frowned slightly: "ntor, what research are you working on? Is there anything your student can help with?"

Somda smiled warmly: "Your thoughtfulness is enough. But to speak of helping... it’s still premature. Focus on your cultivation for now. Once your strength improves, there will naturally co a ti when you can assist ."

Lynch replied: "But ntor..."

He couldn’t help but worry whether, one day upon returning here, his ntor might have already passed away...

Somda clearly understood his aning.

With an open smile, he said gently: "Child, there’s no need to feel sorrow about this. On the path toward eternity, this is sothing you must learn to face."

"This road is destined to be a lonely one. Our families, friends, lovers, ntors... not all of them can keep up with our pace. It’s inevitable that one after another, they will drift away from us."

"Everyone and everything you encounter or experience are but landscapes along this path, fleeting and transient."

"Maintain a calm heart. Walk forward step by step, without caring about too much else."

His voice sounded desolate and solitary.

One couldn’t help but wonder what he had experienced.

But surely, it must have been a lot.

Lynch murmured: "The lonely road..."

He thought of his parents’ graves. Indeed, he could already feel the aning behind Somda’s words. This was exactly what he was experiencing now.

"Alright, let’s not dwell on this."

Somda shook his head, ending the topic.

He added: "If I calculate correctly, the Blood Moon here should be starting soon. For this period, stay here and cultivate. Strive to raise your strength to near Wizard Level. I’ll also take so ti to upgrade your Alchemy Guardian. That should make things smoother for you on the battlefield."

Lynch nodded: "Understood."

Somda said: "The Ancient Ruins here are too small and mostly lack valuable resources. The only worthwhile thing here is probably the ’Red Crystal’ found on the Blood Moon Battlefield. It would be best to try obtaining it when possible."

The Red Crystal was a rare and precious Magic Material, extrely beneficial for Wizard Level cultivation.

After a pause, Somda continued: "But all in all, the Ancient Ruins are not a place to linger for long. After you advance to Wizard, you should explore beyond. This world is vast—don’t confine yourself to such a small area with no prospects."

Lynch replied: "Understood."

...

In the days that followed, Lynch heeded Wizard Somda’s guidance, staying within this warped-ti space to cultivate.

Every day was spent ditating and learning. Once his spiritual power was depleted, he would perform Knight Training to recover.

With this training routine, he could maintain long periods of spiritual endurance, often going several days of cultivation before occasionally needing a single night of Sleep.

It was noteworthy that sleeping here carried an odd sensation. He couldn’t determine how much ti had elapsed since his last sleep, nor could he asure the duration of each sleep.

Sotis, it felt as though he had slept only briefly; other tis, as though he had been asleep for days, maybe even longer.

In this strange space, Ti was disorienting. The only thing guiding Lynch’s progress was the recurring system prompts.

"ditation Proficiency 3"

"Knight Breathing thod Skill Level 2"

...

Day after day passed. The ticking sound of ti marched endlessly forward. Exactly how long had passed remained unclear to Lynch.

Until finally, at a certain mont, the ninth Will Rune in his Spiritual Sea lit up abruptly.
