"Goodness, are they coming for ?" Lor’s lips twitched as he imdiately maneuvered the spaceship, changing direction to fly toward the rear.

If these demons surround him, he’ll have to use the Guardian Tree Scroll.

That thing still appears to be a million contribution points per scroll, but it’s actually beco a strategic resource now.

If Lor really went to find Ron to buy them, each scroll would be a favor owed.

Using it on a rescue mission would be too much of a loss.

.....

At the center of the battlefield, within layers of Defense Magic Arrays.

The wizards, seeing the scattered demons, were montarily shocked and stood in place, dumbfounded.

Clearly, they were the ones at a disadvantage.

Why are these demons running?

"I think I just saw a teor land on the edge of the battlefield; that teor Mage should have co to support us." A middle-aged Third Ring Wizard wearing a red and green wizard robe said.

This past year, due to Lor’s witchcraft being quite unique, coupled with the special identity of a Second Ring Wizard.

He inexplicably received a nickna that usually only extrely powerful Third Ring Wizards have, called teor Mage.

This nickna spread widely among wizards, gaining broad recognition.

Lor is even unaware of this matter.

"So, are you saying the teor Mage scared those demons away?"

An elderly man wearing a blood-colored Third Ring wizard robe scrutinized the middle-aged man, "Are you joking?"

After over a year of familiarity, they have beco accustod to these demons’ fighting style.

Either they win, or they die.

As for fleeing... they had never heard of such a thing happening before.

"Do you think they are deliberately attacking our stronghold point, trying to lure the teor Mage out to kill him?" Another wizard speculated.

Compared to the previous conjecture, this guess seems more likely.

"Should we use a Fourth Ring Scroll to save him?" The middle-aged Third Ring Wizard wearing a red and green wizard robe asked.

"I’ll report this matter to Allen’s representative." The elderly man in the red wizard robe imdiately took out a communicator, requesting a communication with Representative Allen.

Soon, a light screen opened in front of everyone.

"Calvin, what’s up?" The person on the other end of the video, a blonde middle-aged man wearing a blood-colored wizard robe, was the first to speak.

"Representative Allen, just now our stronghold was..." The elderly man imdiately reported all the previous events to Allen.

"I see." Allen smiled and said, "You don’t need to worry about Lo... the teor Mage, he has Fourth Ring Witchcraft Scrolls to save his life."

Back when Ron and Lor talked, he heard everything clearly.

Lor has eight Guardian Tree Sorcery Scrolls on him. As long as he doesn’t go near the seaside, he won’t die.

"That’s good." Hearing this, the elderly man imdiately let out a sigh of relief.

Beside him, the other wizards were sowhat ntally shaken.

The Fourth Ring Scrolls are now strategic-level items, the kind you can’t buy with contribution points.

Their entire stronghold only has a quota of three Fourth Ring Scrolls; once they run out, they’ll have to migrate to other strongholds.

Yet that teor Mage carries as many as eight scrolls, a disparity that sowhat makes them hard to accept.

If they knew Lor could directly buy Fourth Ring Scrolls from Ron, their ntality would probably collapse entirely.

"Well, since the teor Mage has arrived and those demons have left, let’s credit all the contribution points for this rescue mission to the teor Mage then." Allen finally suggested before abruptly ending the communication.

...

On the other side.

A Winged Demon flew with extre speed, approaching within a thousand miles of the Black Cliff Spaceship shortly.

At that mont, it sensed Lor’s spaceship.

"The wizard who can release teors is right ahead." This Winged Demon imdiately brightened its eyes and quickly transmitted a ssage behind it.

Simultaneously, its wings lit up, preparing to unleash an Abyssal Energy Storm on the flying ship ahead.

However, the next mont, a teor descended directly towards it, blasting it into the ground and exploding forcefully.

"Boom——"

With a blast, the Winged Demon was directly shattered into black powder.

Yet its final cry still had an effect, with seventeen more Winged Demons rushing here at high speed.

As for other Abyssal Demons... they desired to approach but found they simply couldn’t catch up.

Ahead.

"Whoosh whoosh——"

Lor controlled the spaceship to fly forward rapidly.

"There are seventeen Winged Demons chasing behind?" Lor spread out his senses, realizing that only seventeen Winged Demons were closely following him, and frowned slightly.

If nothing unexpected happens, he’ll lose so contribution points this ti.

It’s not that he can’t defeat them; it’s just that without using a Fourth Ring Scroll, the spaceship would likely be destroyed by these Winged Demons.

"Sigh, forget it, let’s use the scroll then." Lor sighed, retrieving a green scroll from the space ring.

He opened the second deck hatch of the spaceship, used spiritual power to activate the scroll, and threw it out.

Behind, the seventeen Winged Demons got closer to the spaceship.

Three of them even entered within a thousand miles of the Black Cliff Spaceship, their wings flashing red light, wanting to unleash a fierce attack on Lor.

Just then.

"Crack crack crack——"

The green scroll thrown by Lor from the spaceship quickly expanded and eventually transford into a treant over six hundred miles tall.

The treant’s body was woven from countless tree trunks, with skin of erald green, the textures containing terrifying Wood Elent waves.

It stood between the spaceship and the Winged Demons, directly blocking the Winged Demons’ path.

"Rustle rustle——"

The treant watched the Winged Demons unable to change course in ti, flying straight toward it, and swung its arms, sending countless branches extending outward to fiercely whip at them.

These branches seed slow but were actually fast, instantly lashing onto the closest dozen Winged Demons.

"Pop pop pop——"

With several crisp sounds, the dozen Winged Demons didn’t even have ti for any other action before being whipped into nothingness.

The branches sprouting from the treant’s arms didn’t stop growing there; they continued forward, whipping toward the retreating demons.

"Damn it, he’s obviously a solo wizard, how could he have such terrifying scrolls?" Harold stood at the farthest back of the demon horde, his face full of despair as he looked at the terrifying giant.

Just now, during the siege on the stronghold, he took a gamble, betting those wizards wouldn’t be in such a rush to use scrolls.

If it were the usual, he wouldn’t dare approach so closely or even attack the stronghold point.

Finding opportunities to intercept those migrating large-scale spaceship fleets was the most suitable choice.

This ti, to ambush the wizard who releases teors, he had to lead the demons to attack the stronghold.

It turned out he bet right—the wizards indeed didn’t use their scrolls.

But... the wizard who releases teors ended up using a scroll.

This was a situation the Eye Demon had never encountered, and it was the root of its despair.

It now found itself a re fifteen hundred miles from that terrifying treant, with no way to escape.

"Rustle rustle——"

The branches on the gigantic treant’s arms grew swiftly, at once covering two thousand miles of sky ahead, enveloping all the pursuing demons.

The treant’s branches twisted, and all demons that touched the edges of the branches were instantly whipped into nonexistence.
