Lor glanced at the sun in the sky and realized it was almost noon, and imdiately said to everyone around him:

"It’s almost noon, let’s go and have lunch first."

"Okay!"

Everyone nodded in agreent, and were led by the fisherman Hagwin to a villager’s house for lunch.

After eating a seafood-heavy al with a strong fishy sll, Lor took out two Copper Coins as paynt for the al.

After lunch, he announced a one-hour break and entered a carriage that hadn’t started loading fish yet, opening the ga panel.

[Na: Lor Rox

Age: 12

Body Constitution: 0.7

Spirit: 1.5

Spiritual Energy: 0

Witchcraft: None

ditation Talent: Level 1 .

Energy Points: 1 point, 0.1%]

"I’ll add the first energy point to my body constitution... I’ll consider ditation Talent later."

Having killed over two hundred and sixty fish in the morning, Lor’s hands were still trembling, but he made the decision without hesitation.

As his gaze shifted upwards, focusing his attention on the plus sign next to the body constitution, the panel underwent subtle changes.

[Body Constitution 0.7→1.7]

In the next instant, a feeling of indescribable power surged through his body.

Lor clenched his fist, feeling the strength of his body more than doubled, granting him a sense of security.

Adding points to ditation Talent is crucial for the future, but before that, he also needs so ability to protect himself.

Besides, with higher body constitution, work wouldn’t be as exhausting, allowing him to gather more energy points.

An hour quickly passed, and everyone gathered again at the fish pond to continue the morning’s work.

But after working for just a while, the militiaman Chris noticed sothing unusual.

"Lor, why did your fish clubbing speed suddenly beco so fast?"

In the morning, this little guy often took two hits to kill a fish, but now he was doing it in one, doubling his speed.

"Clubbing them more often naturally lets you discover so techniques."

Lor replied calmly.

"I see." Chris nodded, seeming to understand but not fully.

Beside them, Hagwin, who was netting fish, blinked in confusion; were there really techniques for clubbing fish?

But this was a minor matter, and he didn’t dwell on it. As long as Lor paid him enough in the end, it was fine.

[Absorbing trace elents, energy point progress 0.4%]

[Absorbing trace elents, energy point progress 0.5%]

[Absorbing trace...]

Ti passed bit by bit, and the progress of energy points on the ga panel kept rising.

[Energy fully charged, energy point 1]

This ti, it only took an hour and a half for Lor to gain another energy point, and he didn’t even feel tired.

"Adding points to body constitution feels really good!"

Lor thought to himself and continued rcilessly slaughtering the fish.

However, his pace of acquiring energy points slowed down after that.

Because most fish in the pond containing trace elents had already been clubbed to death by him, making them harder to find.

It eventually took three hours to gain another energy point.

At the sa ti, they harvested nearly three thousand pounds of fish, filling up three carriages.

"We can stop now." After casually rounding out a few ordinary fish, Lor called to Hagwin, who was about to set the net:

"I’m buying these fish today, please calculate the price."

"Alright."

Hagwin responded, leaving the fishing net behind and walked over to the three carriages, looking around and then said:

"There’s still so space left in one of the carriages; it’s not enough for three thousand pounds. Should I load so more to round up the number?"

"That’s fine."

Lor nodded indifferently and handed the wooden club and six Gold Coins to Hagwin:

"You go ahead, the Gold Coins are already yours."

"Okay, please wait a mont."

Hagwin, excited, received the Gold Coins and wooden club, hurrying to net so more fish to club to death and filled up Lor’s carriage, closing the gaps.

After another ten minutes, having filled all three carriages, Hagwin ca to Lor, panting:

"Mr. Lor, I’ve helped you fill them up."

"Thank you for your hard work."

Lor handed over a Copper Coin, "You deserve this, take it."

"Thank you, Mr. Lor." Hagwin happily accepted the Copper Coin.

Although he could already receive so Silver Coins from the previous six Gold Coins, an additional reward was certainly welco.

"No need to thank ." Lor smiled.

Turning around, he gave Chris three Copper Coins, and the three car drivers didn’t miss out, each receiving a Copper Coin.

The three drivers thanked him, gladly accepting the Copper Coins.

Chris seed a bit awkward, holding the Copper Coin but hesitated to pocket it for a long ti.

"What’s wrong, Uncle Chris?" Lor asked with a frown.

Could it be that he thought the amount was too little?

That shouldn’t be the case. Three Copper Coins might seem little, but it’s enough to buy thirty pounds of fish, which was quite generous.

In his intentional probing over the past three days, he never found Chris to be particularly greedy, rather more honest.

"I... I feel that we’re so familiar with each other, it doesn’t seem right to take your money."

Chris stamred.

After three days, due to Lor’s mature and steady deanour, Chris no longer regarded him as a child, but rather a friend.

Taking money from a friend for just helping a little didn’t seem appropriate to Chris.

"Ah, well..."

Lor was taken aback, then said, sowhat amused:

"Uncle Chris, you’re responsible for protecting , you should take this money. If I didn’t give it, even ’others’ would think I’m stingy."

"Oh, then I’ll accept it."

Chris scratched his head, finally putting away the three Copper Coins and solemnly promised Lor:

"Rest assured, I will definitely do my best to protect you."

"With Uncle Chris’ words, I’m relieved."

Lor responded with a smile, then looked up at the sky, the sun was about to set, and he imdiately said:

"It’s getting late; let’s hurry back to town."

"Alright."

"Yes."

The four people who ca with Lor responded in unison, being more positive than before.

The group of four, with three carriages, started their journey back.

Lor walked at the front, facing the sunset, his mind filled with thoughts.

"I’ve filtered through Cyan Fish Village’s fish once; basically, none with elents are left. To get the next batch, I’d need to wait at least half a month for about three energy points."

"If my goal were just to raise ditation Talent to level five, relying solely on Cyan Fish Village would be more than enough."

But what about afterwards?

Upon becoming a Wizard Apprentice, learning witchcraft would be the major use of energy points.

"I need to find another fishing village and establish a collaboration to gather more energy points for future needs." Lor set this goal in his mind.

Fortunately, Lor knew from his original mories that there’s another fishing village near the town.

However, it’s farther away, about thirty miles from the town.

Once this batch of fish is cured, he might as well go and have a look.
