"Enlarge for !" Lor murmured to himself as he stared at the River of Ti, now as small as a bracelet.
"Swish—swish—"
In an instant, the River of Ti returned to its original boundless form, stretching as far as the eye could see, with the waters rushing ceaselessly.
From ti to ti, the surface of the river revealed glimpses of distorted images.
Lor ignored the river and instead looked up towards the sky.
An expanse of blue light illuminated the firmant, turning the once dark and deep void into a brilliant azure.
This blue radiance varied in intensity, and if it were his first ti seeing it, he probably wouldn’t have guessed that these were the manifestations of Ti Runes.
As for now, he could make out so traces within them.
"This arc is incorrect; it should be the outline of another rune." Relying on his accumulated knowledge, Lor tried to discern the overlapping arc patterns and attempted to deconstruct them.
"Yes, this arc should exist here."
"Hmm, this arc..."
"Haha, indeed, this makes more sense."
Unconsciously, Lor’s mindset underwent a subtle change, becoming completely engrossed in the pursuit of complete Ti Runes, unable to maintain absolute rationality.
"I knew it."
"Wrong, all wrong, how could this be?"
"It shouldn’t be like this, where exactly did it go wrong?"
"So that’s it, it went wrong in that place; well, note the lesson and deconstruct it again."
Sotis Lor burst into laughter, sotis he was utterly dejected, like a child, free from distractions.
A month passed by unknowingly.
The view before Lor transford back into the familiar setting of his study.
"Hmm?" Lor, who had been laughing, was suddenly taken aback, then he realized, a deep sense of loss washed over him, "Is it over already?"
This exploration of the Ti Runes offered him a drastically different experience.
Solving mysteries in the vast unknown, every gain brought him trendous joy, which was a stark contrast to piecing together Space Runes.
"Why, when exploring Ti Runes, is my mindset so different compared to exploring Space Runes? Clearly, assembling Space Runes is equally crucial." Sensing the significant change in his mindset, Lor imdiately began to examine himself.
This change in mindset was too significant for him not to treat it cautiously.
In his mind, he constantly compared the exploration of the Microcosmic World and the Macrocosmic World, the differences in acquiring fragnts of Space Runes and Ti Runes.
"Firstly, I can explore the Microcosmic World anyti, so it doesn’t seem as precious, and thus I don’t have that extre sense of treasuring exploration of the Macro World."
Lor deeply analyzed his change in mindset, "Secondly, I’ve had expectations for the path of the Space Faction for a long ti, but the path of the Ti Faction is completely blank for the future, I can only pave the way myself. Deep down, I seem to love the challenge and exploration of the unknown."
"As for the reason for loving the unknown... perhaps it relates to the experiences I’ve had since embarking on the Wizard path?"
As he analyzed further, he suddenly realized the fundantal reason for his mindset change.
Passion, or rather liking, is an utterly unreasonable thing, with no data for reference.
Wizards pursue absolute rationality, seeking to blaze a path with wisdom, but ultimately they are still human.
Being human, they will have their own joys, angers, sorrows, and pleasures.
If one were to abandon them entirely, they would cease to be human.
"Loving the unknown, perhaps it is a good thing?" A relieved smile ford at the corner of Lor’s mouth.
Regarding the debate over the rits of fully imrsing oneself in research versus maintaining absolute rationality during research, he was uncertain.
But he knew that when he devoted himself wholeheartedly to research, he was very happy, and that was enough.
He wanted to live, to live long, and to live happily.
Now that he had found his own source of happiness, and it wouldn’t necessarily slow down his research progress, why change?
Having analyzed the issue of his mindset, Lor breathed a light sigh and took out a parchnt to record all the incomplete Ti Runes he had acquired during this ti.
In total, he had amassed thirty-seven different incomplete Ti Runes this ti.
If the complexity of Ti Runes was similar to Space Runes, then the most complete Ti Rune he had retrieved was about seven thousandths of the entire rune.
Although it seed small, as long as he collected them fully, he could beco the one and only Ti Mage of all ti.
With such a tempting promise, every little progress was enough to please him.
"As long as I don’t break through the Sixth Ring, I can modify the Origin Container anyti, and there’s still plenty of ti, no need to rush." Lor mused.
After organizing his gains and losses, he took out the Continent Communication Device from his Space Ring, gathering information from the central database on various events that had occurred within the Wizard Alliance over the past month.
In his previous life, around this period, the sudden disappearance of players had caused initial chaos in the Wizard Alliance.
Now, since he proposed the Abyss Remodeling Plan in advance, though it had yet to be enacted, it should help stabilize the situation.
[Wizard Calendar 204 Year June 1st, on the Funni Continent, Bernardo the Third Ring Great Wizard at Nathan Wizard Tower clashed with Zuo Xiu the Third Ring Great Wizard, ultimately resulting in a battle high above seventeen thousand three hundred and twenty-five miles north of Nathan Wizard Tower, where Bernardo the Great Wizard destroyed Zuo Xiu the Great Wizard.]
[Reason for conflict: grievances from apprentice days.]
[Result: no environntal damage, no involvent of mortals, no combat above cities and Wizard Towers, no punishnt.]
[Wizard Calendar 204 Year June 2nd, in Funni Continent...]
[Wizard Calendar 204 Year June 2nd, in Wein Continent...]
[Wizard Calendar...]
The detailed, almost absurdly so, information stread into Lor’s eyes.
From June 1st to June 3rd, it was relatively mild, with deaths of three-ring Great Wizards due to various conflicts ranging between zero to three per day throughout the entire Wizard World.
But starting from June 4th, this number doubled.
Every day, at least five Great Wizards died, while those at the First and Second Rings or apprentices were beyond count.
"Not bad, the fluctuation rate of deaths among three-ring wizards is not significant, all maintaining a certain level of rationality, with no impact on mortals, and no Fourth Ring Legislators involved." Lor nodded in satisfaction as he reviewed the information.
He vaguely rembered that in his previous life in this period, a plot towards players was disclosed that even Fourth Ring Legislators were involved, let alone anything below them.
Now, because of his actions, the turmoil within the Wizard Alliance had clearly diminished a lot.
"I wonder when the Energy Furnace Research Institute will be able to develop an Energy Furnace capable of sustaining a Fourth Ring Magic Array."
Lor pondered, "As soon as they research the Fourth Ring Energy Furnace, the Abyss Remodeling Plan could be officially implented."
To fundantally solve this issue, more space for mortal habitation needs to be created, leading to more ditation Talents coming into existence.
The Abyss is currently the most suitable place for developnt.
And to construct an Anti-Abyssal Energy Sun that could cover an entire layer of the Abyss, a Fifth Ring Energy Furnace is essential.
However, in reality, a Fourth Ring Energy Furnace is enough to build an Anti-Abyssal Energy Sun that can dispel the Abyssal Energy, though its coverage area is smaller than one constructed with a Fifth Ring Energy Furnace.
It’s not a significant issue; if worst cos to worst, just create a few more to hand up.
Quality could be compensated with quantity.
"What a pity, in Wizard Calendar 92, the wizard Thorne, who caused the first transformation of the Energy Furnace, failed to forcibly break through the Fourth Ring due to insufficient lifespan and was lost." Lor’s thoughts shifted to that wizard who initiated the transformation of the Energy Furnace, feeling a sense of regret.
Simply failing to construct the Origin Container only turns one into a wizard without Core Witchcraft.
But when combined with a lack of lifespan, failure in construction would equate to death.
Thorne’s talent in the research of Energy Furnaces was indisputable; in just a few decades, he had caused one transformation of the Energy Furnace.
If he were still alive, perhaps the Energy Furnace might have undergone another transformation by now.
"Hopefully, another genius in Energy Furnace research will erge," Lor closed the Continent Communication Device, silently thinking, "As long as the Energy Furnace undergoes one more transformation, everything will be different."
