"Except for those born as deities, opening the path is the hardest on any road," Lor thought to himself. "The wizard path has more potential, so it’s naturally going to be more difficult."
He exhaled softly, pushing away those thoughts and tried focusing his spiritual power on the ga forum.
If nothing unexpected happens, the second CG, "Battle of the Abyss," will be released soon, which is also the last historical CG.
Next year, players will officially arrive, and any ga CGs released afterward will be called version updates.
The ga forum was successfully opened.
The forum is much busier now, with threads constantly erging, all catching Lor’s eye.
"Wow, this ga’s CG is really exquisite, hundreds of tis better than movie effects."
"That girl at the beginning is so beautiful, I’m in love!"
"I look forward to the beta test. How are the beta slots distributed? Or I can buy a slot for ten thousand."
"Has anyone noticed? This ga’s CG is at least ten tis better than others."
"I hope they didn’t pour their heart into the CG but make the ga with half a heart."
"Haha, the Celestial Horse Company is bold, shalessly claiming this ga can be 100% realistic. There’s not even a single ga on the market that’s 5% realistic, it’s simply laughable."
...
Most of these posts praise the exquisite CG, discuss characters in the CG, and express anticipation for the beta.
So players worry the ga might not match the CG.
A few criticize the Celestial Horse Company for false advertising.
The Celestial Horse Company was a ga industry giant in Lor’s past life, well-known.
After the ga forum appeared, they quickly ’brought it under’ their banner, heavily promoting it.
Since launching "Light of Truth," they rapidly beca the number one ga company.
However, one thing is strange; "Light of Truth" doesn’t have a ga store nor a subscription model. The only item for sale is revival coins, available offline for a thousand each.
But revival coins aren’t the only way for player revivals; as long as the ga panel holds 100 charge points, players can choose to use 100 charge points to revive.
In the later stages of the ga, you can buy them from other players for as little as a hundred, which is quite cheap.
Developing such an avant-garde ga without a profit motive is extrely peculiar.
"Celestial Horse Company..." Lor looked at a post ntioning this company, his thoughts swirling.
In his past life, Lor also found the Celestial Horse Company’s unusual actions puzzling. Now that he has crossed into the Wizard World, he understands.
Both worlds are evidently real; there might be more to what lies behind the Celestial Horse Company.
There is a detail players may have overlooked, but Lor is well aware.
The ga forum appeared first, and only afterward did the Celestial Horse Company claim this as a self-developed ga.
Unfortunately, he cannot delve into this matter right now and can only let it go.
He stopped dwelling on it and turned to other posts, focusing on the IDs posting them.
"They’re all big shots." Lor looked at each familiar ID below the posts, a small smirk on his lips.
Among these densely packed IDs are over a dozen who would beco Fourth Ring Elental Bloodline Wizards in the future.
In Lor’s past life, they were undoubtedly high-level players.
As for those on the Faith Wizard path, he didn’t spot a single one now.
The reason is simple; there weren’t any Wizard Towers to learn the Faith Wizard System in the first two versions of "Light of Truth."
That stuff was a later-stage shortcut for wealthy players who spent big bucks buying Magic Crystals and Power of Faith from veteran players.
Seeing that the second CG hadn’t been released yet, Lor habitually scrolled down the forum, trying to find posts of interest.
The results were unexpected; many posts were actually discussing him.
"What do you guys think, what’s the identity of that handso guy who appeared at the end of the CG? Could he be the protagonist?"
"Is this an unintended consequence?" Seeing this post, Lor pondered the motives of that Sequencer.
If that person really showcased everything he did, he might truly be regarded as the protagonist by players.
If interacting with players could indeed procure Origin Points, then that person’s actions are questionable.
Unless... they’re not an enemy.
"It’s too early to make a conclusion now; let’s observe further." Lor slightly shook his head, suppressing his doubts and clicking to have a look.
"He’s so handso, I’m in love."
As soon as he clicked in, he saw this reply with the highest likes.
Lor: "..."
Skipped.
"I wonder how much freedom this ga offers. If possible, I want to bind him xxxxxx."
Lor’s face instantly darkened, glancing at the ID of the comnt poster.
The comnter was nad ’Xiao Qiu Loves Eating Fish’, a well-known ga blogger in his past life.
This blogger loved to dig deep into ga plots and had a large following.
Additionally, she was a beta player.
"I’ll rember you." Lor gave the ID ’Xiao Qiu Loves Eating Fish’ a aningful look, continuing to scroll through comnts.
So comnts were serious, others were not.
After a quick scan, he lost interest and closed the ga forum, entering a ditation state while awaiting Kateya’s return.
An hour later.
"Knock, knock, knock—"
The door to Lor’s residence was knocked on.
Lor exited his ditation state and stood up to open the door.
Standing outside was Kateya.
"Lord Lor, I’ve collected all items containing energy and the Magic Crystals gathered during this ti, all are here," Kateya bowed and presented a red Space Ring.
"Mm." Lor took the ring, scanned it with his spiritual power, and found besides a heap of Magic Crystals, there were also 1,132 strange items.
Among these items were ores, fruits, vegetables, flowers, and various parts of extraordinary creatures, among others.
They all shared a common trait of emanating various strange elental fluctuations.
Lor transferred all these items into his own Space Ring before returning the red Space Ring to Kateya, asking, "Has anyone submitted other energy-containing items recently?"
"It’s becoming rare on the Betula Continent," Kateya shook her head. "These tasks were issued under your na, so initially, the collection was quick."
"Wizards possessing various energy items were eager to submit tasks, gathering over 800 different energy items in less than a month."
"In the following eleven months, only over three hundred were collected in total."
"Other continents still have so wizards submitting tasks, but now there are many demons in the Endless Sea, making it hard for them to co over."
"Alright, got it. Please ask wizards from other continents to send energy items to their respective Central Wizard Towers. I will personally collect them in due ti," Lor nodded.
If he were to collect them now, going from one Wizard Tower to another would be too cumberso, better to wait for a while.
Also, the ga forum is likely to release the second act today; he wants to see how that guy intends to portray him.
