Chapter 83: Chapter 80: Your Next Weapon: Why Settle for a Magic Staff?

In his Sea of Spirit, the sixth brand-new Will Rune on his first Core Matrix was steadily emitting a faint glow, resonating with the other five Runes.
Magic Power surged through his body like a rising tide, and both its total volu and recovery speed had increased slightly.
The difficulty of engraving Will Runes as an Advanced Apprentice far surpassed that of the initial stages. Each Rune was like carving a palace into a spiritual cliff, a process that not only drained his mind but also devoured his resources.

For the stock, he designed an adjustable, retractable structure equipped with a cheek rest to accommodate various shooting stances.
These designs, purely for improving "human-machine efficiency," were practically heretical in the Wizarding World.
Shouldn’t the user be the one to adapt to the weapon?

The material for the gun’s body was an inert tal called "Black Mountain Iron."

The mainstream view in the Wizarding World considered this inertness a drawback. It couldn’t amplify Magic of any attribute, making it a "dull" material.
But in DSeek’s evaluation model, this was precisely its greatest advantage.
It ant that "Black Mountain Iron" was a perfect energy "conduit." When Magic Power passed through it, there was almost no extra energy loss or attribute deviation, ensuring the purity and stability of the energy beam to the greatest extent.
More importantly, it was affordable, sturdy, and could be perfectly processed by Allen’s "Precision Mark I" Alchemy Machine.
Next was the power supply and firing module—the heart of the weapon.
Allen took out the Rhombic Crystal from the Micro-Light Scale Armor Beast he had obtained in the Silent Forest.
It was the sa type of conversion crystal as the Light Crystal the professor had discussed in class today, but the crystal from the Micro-Light Scale Armor Beast was clearly more powerful.
This type of crystal was both an "energy pump" and an "emitter."
It could absorb injected Magic Power and, upon being stimulated by a specific ntal frequency, instantly convert that power into a directional high-energy beam.

Finally, there was the firing chanism. He designed a dual safety system for "Judgnt."
The first layer was a Spiritual Power link. He set his own Spiritual Power fluctuation frequency as the "pre-charge" command.
With just a thought, he could make the "Heart of Judgnt" enter standby mode and begin drawing energy.
The second layer was a unique Magic Power code. He took a small, unique structural segnt from the Will Runes he had engraved and set it as the final "fire" command.
This ant that even if the gun fell into soone else’s hands, they wouldn’t be able to fire it without knowing this Magic Power code.
It would obey his commands alone.
Part Three: The Scope.
This was the soul of the entire design and the key feature that would set "Judgnt" apart from all other ranged weapons in this world.
Allen knew full well that the reason Wizards hadn’t developed precision aiming devices was because they had their own built-in cheat: sensory Witchcraft.
However, a Wizard could typically only maintain one sensory Witchcraft at a ti, which was a limitation on the battlefield.
What he wanted to build was an optical scope that integrated multiple detection thods.
He designed the scope as a modular system composed of three lens groups, whose functions could be switched at any ti by injecting a small amount of Magic Power.
First Lens Group: [Basic Optical Lens].
The principle was to take the Magic model for "Sense Enhancent—Visual Acuity" and, using Rune-etching technology, miniaturize it into a permanent Rune Array embedded around the lens. This would grant it a 1-20x physical optical zoom capability.
He had already learned the technical challenges involved in his advanced runology and practical application courses.
Second Lens Group: [Magic Power Vision Lens].
Using the sa technique, the target this ti was the "Detect Magic Power" Magic model.
When this lens was activated, it could be used to observe flowing elents, hidden Magic Traps, and the unique "auras" ford by the Magic Power dissipating from a Wizard’s body.
Third Lens Group: [Thermal and Low-Light Vision Lens].
This required a special material from a Magical Beast—the crystalline lens of an "Eye of the Fire Salamander."
This creature was naturally able to capture the faintest infrared radiation and ambient light.
By grinding it into a lens and pairing it with corresponding energy-activating Runes, it could achieve perfect thermal imaging and night vision functions.
Telescopic vision, night vision, thermal imaging, Magic Vision... This was a complete "beyond-visual-range hunting solution."
The design schematics for the three lenses integrated perfectly in DSeek’s interface, forming a complex yet harmonious-looking tactical scope.
Allen examined his masterpiece.
This Magical Shooting Platform, nad "Judgnt," would not only be his first weapon but also a potential backup plan for Golem Weapons in the future.
With the design complete, he issued one final command.
