Bloodline Wizard!
Even more powerful than Legendary Knights!
Matthew didn’t understand. If just any First Order Legendary Creature can make a Bloodline Wizard, why risk entering this place? I have already begun learning Bloodline Magic, and my current strength can be compared to that of a Great Knight. Besides, it’s not that hard to find the corpse of a Legendary Creature.
"What do you know?" Shell sneered. "The reason ’Bloodline’ is placed before ’Wizard’ indicates the importance of bloodline in training. This world is unique. Beings above First Order are suppressed here, aning many Second Order or even Third-tier creatures only possess First Order strength in this place. Such an opportunity isn’t even worth dreaming of elsewhere. As long as you can seize the bloodline of a Second Order or even Third-tier creature, your chance of advancing is much greater. After all, there are no Potions here to help break through to beco an Official Wizard, though advancing to the Second Circle will be much harder."
"Shh..."
"There’s soone ahead."
Shell suddenly stopped talking. Matthew tensed, gripping the bone rod in his hand as he cautiously walked out of the tunnel.
What ca into view were twelve huge stone pillars and the bronze doors standing beneath them.
It was a plaza spanning hundreds of square ters, crowded with people—so in groups of three or five, others alone, as if waiting for sothing. Matthew only glanced briefly, and his chest tightened.
Legendary!
Several Legendaries!
...
In the dimly lit room, accompanied by shrill whooshing sounds and the clanging of tal, several shadows rapidly interwove.
"Boss!"
"I can’t hold on much longer!"
"Watch out!"
A masked Legendary Knight let out a low shout, his body flickering like a ghost as he clashed with several Legendary Creatures.
"BANG!"
Energy surged, and the figures were suddenly forced apart.
The Legendary Knight was formidable, but the Legendary Creatures he faced were not inferior, especially in number. They might not be able to take down the Legendary Knight, but his companions feared they would not escape today’s calamity.
"Ghost-faced."
Just then, a gentle, soothing voice ca from outside, "Need help?"
The Ghost-faced Knight’s eyes flickered. "Second... Is that you?"
"Yes." The newcor approached from outside, dressed in immaculate white clothes that emitted a pure and flawless aura, brightening even the darkness. "Ghost-faced, it’s been almost a hundred years since we last t, hasn’t it?"
"Hmph!" Ghost-faced grunted. "You’ve been hiding in the Holy Hall. I thought you were already dead. What brings you here this ti?" Could it be... "Does the Holy Hall also desire the Demigod Bloodline?"
"No." The visitor shook his head. "I’m here for soone. You must have heard of him—the mysterious Pharmacist from Jiliu City."
"Carl!" Ghost-faced exclaid. "He killed the seventh elder of the Holy Hall."
"How so?" Ghost-faced shrugged. "With your strength, you’re not confident enough to deal with him?"
"..." The visitor fell silent, then after a pause, he said, "I will help you resolve the trouble here, and you help deal with Carl. Your Dharma Seal can restrain his Constitution."
Ghost-faced’s eyes flickered. Hm? Carl... Is he that strong?
"Forget it!" he declared. "First, help with the problem at hand."
"Alright." The visitor nodded, drawing the Knight Sword from his waist and holding the blade upright before him.
"Guardian Ring!"
"Sacred Law!"
An enormous, focused, holy aura burst forth from him, montarily overpowering the Legendary Creatures and forcing them to retreat.
This scene also made the Ghost-faced Knight’s eyes fill with grave concern.
