"Urgh! That bastard! Don’t disturb !"
Cursing Chase under her breath, Evelyn yanked the blanket away. She popped her head out, revealing her swollen eyes and ssy hair.
"What did he want?!"
Evelyn rubbed her eyes, feeling the sticky feeling of her dried tears. Still cussing at the trashy man, she grabbed her phone from the bedside table.
Chase had been trying to contact Evelyn for the past three days whether through phone calls or ssages. Because she blocked his main number, he resorted to using other, unrecognizable numbers instead.
At tis, Evelyn blacklisted the numbers without accepting the calls or reading the ssages. In the other, she ended up receiving the calls before blowing up at him.
"Should I go and kick his crotch? What do... eh?" Evelyn paused, slightly stunned to find Leslie’s na on the phone screen, "...Second Sister?"
Evelyn didn’t expect to receive ssages from her second sister-in-law. Her brain instantly thought about whether Leslie needed any help.
Ignoring the other unread ssages, Evelyn tapped on Leslie’s na. She unconsciously raised her brows once she saw the texts.

Murmuring those words, Evelyn glanced at the link Leslie attached under the first ssage. It seed like a link to an online article. Wondering what it was about, she clicked the link.

The particular words caught Evelyn’s interest, luring her into the article. The piece told how people had been sending glitter bombs to their cheating exes and insufferable enemies.
Wide-eyed in wonder, Evelyn scrolled to the bottom once she finished reading the article. Once again she was surprised to find comnters sharing their own experience.

Jumping from the bed, Evelyn read the article and comnts again. Her head began picturing doing the sa to Chase.
Instead of punching and kicking him, how about she decorated his apartnt with these tiny sparkly things? Bruises from physical violence would heal sooner than ticulously hidden glitters.
"Second Sister! I love you!"
Evelyn did a little dance on the floor, even striking a fist in the air. More evil thoughts slithered into her mind as she kept thinking of more ways to make Chase suffer.
"Hehehehe~ Let’s do this."
Grinning mischievously like a Cheshire cat, Evelyn decided to prank Chase in this way. She cared less about troubling him, his staff and the company.
The cheating scumbag deserved this!
Evelyn quickly called Manager Yin. She needed to make so arrangents before executing her plan. She had been in frequent contact with her long-ti manager these days.
Manager Yin sent so reports about Chase. She inford Evelyn how the cheating trashy man had a big fight with Tessa Duan.
"Miss Duan indeed knows nothing about you. Our people saw them fighting before she left for her hotown. I believe Miss Duan has broken up with Mr. Yao but, that still depends on her."
Evelyn learned the duration of Chase and Tessa’s relationship from Manager Yin. They had been together for more than a decade, including the ti they spent as childhood friends.
Even though Evelyn was aware this was not her fault, she was indeed the other woman in the lovers’ longti relationship. Thinking about it left a bitter taste in her mouth.
Screw him! How dared he make her a mistress!
"Miss Eve, the bigger fish here is you. He’ll definitely choose to cling to you instead of the lady. Don’t be deceived if he love bomb you. You and the lady are victims."
Understanding that Manager Yin was simply being concerned for her, Evelyn took the forr’s advice to heart. Despite being mad at Chase, she was still afraid of succumbing to his sweet words.
"Hello, Miss Eve."
Manager Yin’s voice rang from the end of the line, pulling Evelyn out of her trance. Without beating around the bush, she imdiately said her piece.
"I need you to get a few things for . Oh, check when that bastard’s not at ho. I have to sneak into his apartnt."
Under Manager Yin’s confusion, Evelyn instructed her to get a few packs of biodegradable glitters and fine sugar. The forr item would dissolve in wet and warm surroundings, the process might be significantly slower in the dry and hot apartnt.
"I’ll do that."
Manager Yin didn’t ask much. She simply did as she was told. Getting the items and learning the actor’s schedule were easy, especially with the Ice Goddess Xu’s brother’s help.
This included trepassing into the actor’s apartnt.
"Great. The sooner, the better."
"I understand."
After ending the call, Evelyn ran into the ensuite washroom. She wanted to refresh herself before went looking for Leslie and Calliope.
Spending ti with her sister-in-law and niece was far better than locking herself inside this room just to cry for her cheating ex-boyfriend.
The weather outside was also nice. They could take a stroll and sit on the deck to admire the lake.
"Ah!"
Evelyn froze once she saw her own reflection in the huge mirror. She looked worse than before!
Tangled and ssy hair, puffy red eyes and blotchy face.

Evelyn ditched the idea of simply washing her face. She would feel better if she had a long and nice soak before dressing herself up.
