"Kris, you have no idea of how scared I am?" Zhou Liying sighed and let her strong persona crumble in front of him. "I am hell scared of the idea of falling in love. Hell scared."
Kris wanted to comnt that he had the idea of her feelings, no one knew better than him, but he kept mum. He let Zhou Liying pour out all her feelings.
"My past scares . I am scared that what if he too leaves like the man who left in the past? I do not know if he is my imagination but my heart, inside of always yells at that soone has left , abandoned ."
"If he had not abandoned , then maybe…." Her voice broke down and a sob escaped her lips. For so long, she wanted to rely on soone, to tell soone how she was feeling right now.
So many tis she felt suffocated. She wanted to run away. She wanted to leave this world. This unknown feeling was binding her heart. It was not easy for her to reject the love of Mu Yuehan again and again.

"And we both know how correct she always is with her love prediction."
"But what if I end up like my mother? What if?" she finally yelled her true fear. "I am not strong like her to spend the rest of my life in the mories of my lover. I am not strong enough."
Kris sighed. "Lili, we both know that your mother was happy with the few mories which she had made with your father. You yourself have told that. Do you want to run away from happiness falling in your lap only because of this little fear of yours?"
He pulled on her chin and looked into her eyes. He knew he needed to give her this lecture; otherwise, she would destroy her happiness with her own hands.
"Don't forget, you were not ready to give , BingBing or uncle a chance, but you gave. Aren't you happy now?"
She nodded.
"Aren't you satisfied that you ca to Shanghai to spend the last days of your grandpa with him? Aren't the last mories with him one of the best mories?"
She yet again nodded. She felt calm that she ca back and spent so ti with him, making so mories with him. She was left with no regret.
"Sa is the case with Mu Yuehan. Give him a chance and you will beco happy. Otherwise, what will be left with you will be regret only. You will regret your decision for the rest of your life if you leave him, if you let him go."
"Soone out there is waiting for you; to love you, don't push him away. Otherwise, you will always regret your decision and will not be able to bear the pain."
He placed his hands on her shoulders. A small smile appeared on his lips when he realised that his lecture was having the needed effect on her.

Zhou Liying nodded. She had already told him about her mother and her feelings.
"Now look at Uncle Zhou. He married for business. Business was always first priority for him; he never tried to find love even in his wife. After her death, he was left all alone. And today, we all can see how unhappy he is."
"He may laugh and spend ti with us but we all know that he is all alone. He needs soone in his life and the sa is your case. You need soone and that soone is Mu Yuehan."
"Don't imdiately fall for him. Give him so ti. Try to understand him and his feelings. Check if he is for you or not. You can progress slowly but please don't block him out."
Zhou Liying sighed and removed her tears.
"Why are you so good to ? What was I to do without you? Thank you for helping out Kris, thank you." She hugged him.
Kris smiled and patted her back. "Now be a good girl and give good news fast. I can't wait to see my sister happy."
Zhou Liying stood up from her seat and made her way toward the washroom. She threw water on her face and looked at herself in the mirror. She looked into her eyes which were crystal clear.
Kris was right, why live in regret, why destroy her happiness when it was right in front of her?
She would accept this happiness. She had made up her mind.
She walked out from the fresh room and they both made their way toward the dance floor.
They were on their way when Zhou Liying heard a familiar voice coming from a private room. Curious, she paused in her steps and eavesdrops on what was going on inside that room.
"Ah, having fun without ."
A smirk appeared on her lips with a plan forming in her mind. The party inside was now going to face Zhou Liying.
