Capítulo 941: Chapter 846: I, Luoqi, Will Stand Up Today!

Luoqi, however, sat there dazed, as if unaware.

In her mind, only two words remained.

“Engagent cancellation…?”

…This script is different! (╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻

The King’s bedroom.

At this very mont, Shane was passionately explaining his thoughts to the confused Anxi and even Aridia, who were sitting in front of him.

“When people are young, they’re always more impulsive. But when they grow up a bit and face the harsh realities of society, they’ll realize that not everything in this world is beautiful.”

“Like marriage, how many people eagerly anticipate it before tying the knot, holding all sorts of fantasies, only to often say after marrying that stepping into marriage is akin to stepping into a grave.”

“Even if they love each other deeply, real-life issues like daily necessities can lead to argunts, disputes, complaints, and even disdain.”

“Even without such problems, there’s still the so-called seven-year itch.”

“What does this all imply?”

“It ans marriage shouldn’t be settled on a whim!”

Shane spoke with a look of utmost seriousness.

“Therefore, I think youthful impulsiveness should mostly be well-restrained.”

“For major life decisions like marriage, it’s best to think long and hard about it, lest impulsiveness leads to future regret.”

“What? You say I can’t restrain my impulsiveness? That I impulsively drove away every visitor just a few days ago?”

“No, no, no, that wasn’t my idea. It was Chafne who didn’t want to see those sycophants. Personally, I actually find her actions quite heartless and cruel. I tried to persuade her many tis, but she just wouldn’t listen to , and I had no choice but to step in.”

“Whether you believe it or not, I believe it!”

Shane, speaking until his mouth was dry, finally flashed a big smile at the bewildered Anxi.

“In conclusion, Your Majesty, I think it’s better not to rush into this marriage, what do you think?”

Upon hearing this, Anxi couldn’t respond to Shane’s question right away.

He was utterly bewildered, with a puzzled look on his face, and three lines were practically emblazoned on his forehead.

“Who am I?”

“Where am I?”

“What am I supposed to do?”

Such was the chaos.

It wasn’t just Anxi; even Aridia was frozen there, his usual cold and stern deanor nearly cracking.

They completely failed to grasp what Shane was trying to convey.

Why is it that each word makes sense, but strung together, it’s incomprehensible?

Why does each sentence sound so absurd yet sohow make sense?

The Kingdom’s pinnacle, thoroughly brainwashed by Shane’s relentless tirade, was left in utter confusion, looking at one another, unable to react to the current situation.

And this was precisely what Shane wanted.

“Can’t understand? No worries!”

“Just know that the words I speak are unheard-of profound sayings in this world.”

“These are the quintessential maxims accumulated by countless predecessors in my world.”

“You may not understand now, but you will in the future.”

Having said that, Shane fished out a parchnt, spread it in front of Anxi, and smiled broadly.

His deanor was almost like that of a fraudulent pyramid sche seller.

“Co, co, Your Majesty, just sign here, sign your illustrious na!”

“Once you sign this, everything will be resolved smoothly, and everyone will be happy, and everyone can find happiness!”

“Don’t hesitate, hesitating will lead to… uh! Defeat!”

“Here you go, I’ve got everything ready already!”

Shane stuffed a quill into Anxi’s hand, sat beside him, and wrapped his arm around his shoulder, enticing him like they were brothers.

“Trust , I’m the Hero, you can’t go wrong listening to !”

Shane patted Anxi’s shoulder, prompting the bewildered and confused Anxi to speak instinctively.

“I just need to sign my na?”

Anxi still hadn’t realized the severity of the situation.

And naturally, Shane wouldn’t give him ti to realize it.

“Yes! Just sign your na! If you have a seal or sothing, that’s even better!”

“Co on!”

“Co on!”

“Co on!”

With Shane’s incessant persuasive tone, Anxi seed genuinely entranced, reflexively reaching to sign his na on the parchnt in front of him.

“Y-Your… Majesty!”

In the end, it was Aridia who successfully broke free from his bewildernt, noticed the title on the parchnt, and snapped back to reality.

Upon closer inspection, at the very top of that piece of parchnt was written in large letters — “Divorce Agreent”.

Seeing this, Aridia could no longer remain calm and intended to stop it.

Unfortunately…

“[Grant·Binding].”

With a small incantation, an unusually binding force suddenly acted upon Aridia, firmly restricting him in place.

“…!”

Aridia’s pupils shrank, and he instinctively struggled, only to find that he couldn’t break free at all.

At this point, Aridia’s gaze changed completely.

A simple binding magic, and yet at a level as high as ninety-nine, just one step away from the limit level, he couldn’t even resist?

What kind of power is this!?

Aridia looked at Shane with so astonishnt.

Shane just glanced at him, giving him a look.

That clearly ant…

“Don’t get in the way.”

Seeing this, Aridia’s expression changed again and again.

But he couldn’t change anything anymore.

“Signed… it’s signed.”

Anxi, in a state of bewildernt, signed his na, looking like he’d been brainwashed by a cult.

“Very good!”

Shane curved his lips in satisfaction and picked up the parchnt in front of him.

Just at that mont, the door to Anxi’s room was forcefully flung open.

“Hold! It! Right! There!”

With eyes turned to gleaming gold, Luoqi finally made a dazzling entrance.

However, Luoqi at this mont was missing her usual cool and aloof deanor when in her goddess mode, and neither was her perfect figure in princess mode visible. Instead, she resembled a terrorist, her face twisted in rage, scaring both Anxi and Aridia stiff.

In contrast, Shane’s smile had disappeared from his face; like an assassin having completed his mission, he nonchalantly tucked the parchnt into his bosom and stood up.

“Well, if there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave, Your Majesty.”

Shane respectfully bowed to Anxi, then turned around, looking at Luoqi.

On his face was only a cold smile.

“Congratulations on regaining your single status, Princess.”

Leaving such a declaration, Shane brushed past Luoqi and swaggered out of Anxi’s room.

Only Luoqi was left, trembling all over as she looked at her father, the king.

“You… you agreed to the divorce?”

Luoqi looked at her father in disbelief.

“I…”

Anxi finally ca to his senses, rembering what he had just done, his face awash with stupefaction and twitching muscles.

“It seems… I did agree…”

At this, the entire room fell silent.

Aridia had already broken free from the binding magic but stood there not knowing what to say.

Anxi’s face was filled with despair.

As for Luoqi, her entire ntal state had completely collapsed.

“I’ve been divorced…”

“I’m divorced…”

“Divorced…”

“vorced…”

“ced…”

In a daze, Luoqi seed to see herself, heavily pregnant, expelled from the royal family, sitting on the street, being pointed at and drenched in tears.

Obviously, her ideal life of leisurely lazing around was now leaving her.

Stand up?

This was basically lying down!

“Wait… wait AAAHHHHH!!~~o(>_
