In the garden, the intense collision sounds lingered endlessly, telling others how fierce the battle between Shane and Tielle was.
That being said, Shane still exercised restraint, leaving so leeway, and didn't really fight with all his might.
Their fierce battles in the garden like this weren't just a one-day thing.
The origin was that after Shane completed the task Tielle entrusted to him, he reported it back to Tielle, which sparked this.
In anticipation of the upcoming battle and to defeat the person she long wished to overco, Tielle, unusually, sought out Shane, hoping he could train with her.
Since this was a battle requiring absolute full effort and possibly risking one's life, Tielle wanted rigorous training before the day of the decisive battle.
In other words, Tielle needed an opponent who could confront her full strength with ease, help correct her battle details, and achieve the purpose of thoroughly training herself.
Such opponents were plenty within the Beizut Family.
Shane was one of them.
You Lin was another.
Lilith was yet another.
And so was Chafne.
But recently, You Lin was extrely devoted to guarding duties. Even if free, Shane always found odd reasons to send her to Riley to learn family managent together, so there was no ti to accompany Tielle. Lilith was too naive and romantic, unable to grasp the concept of "training," and Chafne was just a legendary person, heard of but unseen, so Tielle naturally wouldn't seek them out.
Thus, Shane naturally and inevitably beca Tielle's sparring partner during this period, battling like this daily to hone her skills.
Chafne had long known about this, but hadn't paid much heed until today, when on a whim she decided to co and see, and hence witnessed Tielle, and the "Ghost" within her.
Under Chafne's watchful gaze, the duel between Shane and Tielle reached its climax.
"Swish!"
Shane instantaneously dodged the incoming strike of sharp claws, appearing ghost-like behind Tielle.
"...!"
Tielle reacted with extre sharpness.
Unfortunately, her speed still couldn't match Shane's.
"Checkmate."
Shane's hand was on Tielle's back, with magic power surging relentlessly.
"Boom——!"
Amidst the explosive noise, a magic Qi blast was stirred, blowing Tielle's petite form away, creating a slightly embarrassing distance between her and Shane. Unable to control it, she landed from mid-air, kneeling on one knee.
"Ha... ha..."
Perhaps due to exhaustion, Tielle panted heavily, sweat dripping from her face, even the horn on her forehead flickering a few tis before gradually fading away.
"Alright, that's enough for today." Seeing Tielle like this, Shane imdiately called a halt and said: "The boost your 'horn' gives to your strength is evident, but so is the burden on your body. If possible, don't use it too frequently within a short period."
Shane remarked thusly.
Tielle didn't refute.

Back then, when Tielle activated her [Ghostification] ability in the Artlu Canyon, transforming into a Ghost, she quickly absorbed an enormous amount of magic power, instantly catapulting herself to Legendary level, nearly reaching Limit Level.
But these days, during battles with Tielle, Shane noticed that Tielle's 'horn' absorbed power much slower than it did back then.
Put simply, in the past, Tielle only needed a few seconds to soar to Legendary level with [Ghostification].
Now, even though Tielle's level was higher than at that ti, it took her longer to ascend from this level to Legendary level.
"About a minute, right?"
Shane made his judgnt.
"After activating [Ghostification], you probably need about a minute to absorb enough power to elevate to Legendary level, let alone Limit Level, which should take you at least five minutes."
Such speed, to many experts, was clearly a glaring weakness.
"I know." Tielle nodded, indicating her understanding while responding: "But there's nothing I can do; my 'horn' just grew back recently, and it's still a young horn. Its absorption and transformation of magic power are much slower than in peak tis, and that's quite normal."
Evidently, Tielle was well aware of her situation.
"Are you sure that's okay?"
