Chapter 535: 502 growing things that shouldn’t grow

“…!”

Shane suddenly stood up from the hot spring, turned around abruptly, and looked in a certain direction.

There, unexpectedly, appeared a little girl.

“You…?”

Shane was stunned on the spot.

Clearly, he had not anticipated that the voice he had just heard ca from such a little girl.

She was like a beastman, dressed in a leather tunic, appearing to be around thirteen or fourteen years old.

The little girl, holding a fluffy mysterious creature, blinked her big eyes and stood at the edge of the hot spring, staring at Shane.

Shane was initially stunned by her appearance and age, and then he couldn’t help but narrow his eyes.

For from this little girl, he felt an imnsely terrifying magic power and an evil energy that seed capable of crushing heaven and earth.

It felt as though a world-destroying ferocious beast had suddenly appeared before him.

But the little girl, possessing such a terrifying aura, stood there with a naive face, seemingly very curious about Shane’s presence, and just stared at him.

To be honest, Shane didn’t dare to shift his gaze away from her.

After all, before she spoke, Shane hadn’t sensed her presence at all, which was enough to suggest her extraordinariness.

It’s important to note that Shane was no longer the sa as before; his “Outer Destiny” could even glimpse the natural laws of heaven and earth, yet he failed to react promptly before she spoke, which was sufficient to make him wary.

Of course, if he had been fully focused, Shane wouldn’t have completely missed her presence; it was mainly because he had been too comfortable and relaxed soaking in the hot spring and reflecting on so matters, which had made him sowhat sluggish.

Even so, not just anyone could exploit the loopholes of “Outer Destiny” and approach him.

Yet, this little girl had managed to do so.

“Who are you?”

Shane asked gravely.

However, the little girl did not respond to his question.

“Ai Yi?” She tilted her head as if thinking about sothing, muttering continuously: “Ai Yi? Ai Yi? Ai Yi?”

She kept repeating this na, seemingly very concerned about it.

Shane frowned.

“What is it?” Shane asked, “Do you know Ai Yi?”

Shane decided to probe her.

“Ai Yi?” The little girl still tilted her head but seed to understand Shane’s words, nodded vaguely, and then cheerfully exclaid: “Ai Yi! Ai Yi! Ai Yi!”

The little girl seed to be dancing with joy, letting go of the mysterious little creature she held.

The mysterious small creature fell to the ground without even a whimper but, very humanly, rolled its eyes, turned its body over, and stayed in a lying position.

This mysterious small creature continued to stare intently at Shane, with a hint of inquiry in its eyes, which was truly baffling.

Shane naturally noticed this mysterious small creature and then discovered sothing.

That was, the world-destroying terrifying aura he had felt earlier actually ca from this mysterious small creature.

As for the little girl, her aura was rather ordinary, but she possessed an imnsely large magic power, even greater than Luoqi, much stronger than anyone Shane had ever t, which astonished him.

What was the background of this duo?

Shane unconsciously used the power of “Outer Destiny” to try to discern their Level.

But he could see nothing.

“This…”

Shane fell silent.

Then, a voice that sounded almost amused but impossibly mature for its apparent youthfulness finally spoke up.

“Enough, stop looking. Human boy, with your power, you can’t discern our realm, so stop wasting your energy.”

This was a voice that sounded as if it had not yet broken but inexplicably carried a mature rhythm.

Hearing this voice, Shane tensed up and looked toward the little girl again.

“Ai Yi! Ai Yi!”

But the little girl continued to hop and jump around, incessantly calling out Ai Yi’s na.

The voice just now was not from the little girl.

“Hey, hey, where are you looking?” the voice spoke up again, saying, “Here, look here. I am the one talking to you.”

With that, the mystery small creature on the ground lifted one of its forelimbs and waved it, very human-like.

At this point, Shane understood.

“Was… was it you talking just now?”

Shane was taken aback.

“It was .”

The small creature frankly admitted.

However, this small creature clearly did not open its mouth to speak.

Rather than saying that the voice ca from its mouth, it was more like telepathy, directly transmitting into one’s mind to be heard.

This situation completely dumbfounded Shane.

“Ah, it’s that reaction again,” the mysterious little creature said disinterestedly, “Every ti I et soone new and try talking to them, I receive the sa reaction. It really gets tiring after a while.”

Well, that’s unfortunate.

Shane, suppressing the urge to retort, glanced at the little girl who was still jumping with joy, then looked at the mysterious little creature lying on the ground. After a mont’s hesitation, he couldn’t help but speak up.

“Who are you? A Demon?”

Doubt filled Shane’s eyes.

“Heh,” the mysterious creature, seemingly too lazy to explain, casually said, “Just think of as a Demon, there’s no difference between and a Demon for your Human Race anyway.”

After saying that, the mysterious creature turned its head, looking at the joyfully cheering girl and suddenly spoke in a stern tone.

“Alright, stop jumping around, Milu, pick up quickly.”

Upon hearing this, the girl nad Milu stopped imdiately and obediently picked up the mysterious little creature.

“Lide,” Milu then spoke to the creature in her arms, “Ai Yi, Ai Yi.”

The words “Lide” ntioned seed to be the na of the little creature.

“Alright, I get it,” Lide spoke impatiently, “Really, you seem so eager to see Ai Yi. She’s such a naughty girl, yet everyone dotes on her and spoils her. I think she’ll be spoiled rotten by you all.”

“Hehe,” Milu, not taking Lide’s complaint seriously, chuckled joyfully, clearly in a good mood.

Shane’s frown deepened.

This odd duo seed to be more than what ets the eye.

“Who exactly are you?”

Shane was gradually losing his patience.

This caused both Milu and Lide to turn their gaze toward him.

“Young man, have so patience, don’t be so hot-tempered,” Lide grinned, transmitting his voice directly into Shane’s mind, “Don’t worry, we’re not suspicious characters, at least not to you.”

“We’re not suspicious, not suspicious,” Milu cheerfully mimicked like an innocent child.

Shane, of course, wouldn’t easily believe their words.

Not just because they seed suspicious, but also because their duo appeared quite bizarre.

Therefore, Shane didn’t want to let his guard down just yet.

However, considering that his “Outer Destiny” could not discern their Level, and the familiar way they talked about Ai Yi, Shane began to speculate about their identities.

If they were indeed the characters he had in mind, then maybe he could try to communicate with them.

Just as Shane entertained this thought, their voice sounded again.

“Not bad, that’s the right way to do it.”

The mysterious creature, Lide, seed pleased and added slyly,

“Anyway, you should put on so clothes first, lest Milu keeps looking at your ‘thing’ and ends up growing sothing she shouldn’t.”

Shane’s mouth twitched in response.

What does “growing sothing she shouldn’t” even an?

If you an getting a sty, just say so directly, don’t make it sound so ambiguous.

People might think it’s sothing else, dang.

anwhile, in several other locations, many others had noticed Shane’s situation.

“Why is she here?”

Nadura was waiting outside for Shane to finish bathing when she sensed that Magic Power and aura, leaving her astounded.

“This Magic Power…!?”

In the Queen’s Palace, Sophie, with her eyes previously closed, suddenly opened them and stood up from the throne, her eyes filled with shock and panic.

Inside the treehouse where Shane and his group were staying, in two different rooms, two little girls opened their eyes simultaneously.

“Miss Lilith?”

Lasha, who had been watching over Lilith by the bed, called out upon seeing this sight.

But Lilith did not respond to Lasha. Instead, she turned her head in one direction, then with a whoosh, transford into a stream of Evil Energy and shot out.

Seeing this, Lasha’s eyes flashed slightly, but she said and did nothing, quietly staying put as if waiting for the dust to settle.

Naturally, in the other room, Ai Yi also got up.

“That girl…”

Ai Yi murmured in exasperation, not sure if it was out of irritation or a headache.

“She’s showing up here again; looks like her bad habits are acting up.”

Saying this, Ai Yi also got down from the bed.

In the next second, Dragon Wings unfolded behind her, transforming her into a gust of wind, and like Lilith, she flew out the window.

A streak of Evil Energy and a shadow of a dragon swiftly headed in the sa direction.

“…”

In a crystal-clear lake, Luoqi, who was soaking in the water, raised her head and saw this scene.

Beside her, all were Elf girls laughing joyfully.

Yet Luoqi did not move.

She just stared intently, evidently deep in thought.
